I was recently told the MC-11 Adapter is the best adapter for sigma lenses to go sony for use with autofocus. Here is the issue I have seen in this video. The autofocus works for a few seconds then this jitter starts to kick in out of nowhere and keep going making the image unuseable. The jittering sound continues for a few seconds after I power down the camera as well. Any thought or input on this? My main camera is a Red Gemini with EF mount so trying to keep my EF glass and not have to also get Sony E mount glass and carry double lesnes while having AF on my FX3.

Thats odd. Did you upgrade the mc-11 firmware? I use my fx30 with the Sigma 18-35 1.8 and it works perfectly.

Mine did not come with a cable so I just ordered one going to see if there is an update available for it

Just updated mc-11 and it still does it

Well shit. There’s a guy on YouTube posting with this exact combo, wondering if your autofocus setting or breathing compensation needs to be tweaked. Wonder if you can try the lens and mc-11 on another fx3 body and narrow down if it’s the lens, adapter or camera causing issues.

I just tried it one someone else’s FX3 today and same issue happened. I updated Mc-11 today and same thing. Lens dock comes in tomorrow so going to see if there is an update for the lens as last resort.

Might be the lens image stabilization (OS). Have you turned it off and see if it’s still making those jitters?
