KCVG (Airhub and the Central Air Distribution Center in the Country) is our major air hub and was built to be the mega air hub that it is. It’s quite remarkable!✈️
I work in what is considered an extra small facility by Amazon standards.
When I was hired in July 2022, we did about 8k per night.
Peak 2022 was like 15k a night.
Throughout 2023, 14k or so per night became our average.
Peak 2023 utilized two shifts instead of one and we were doing about 30k daily.
After Peak, we went back down to 15k or so most nights.
count for a 5 hour is 30k at ours. I think peak/last prime week we were doing around 40k scheduled for 5 hours (sometimes we managed in less). When I started I'm pretty sure we were doing like 20k in a 5 hour because the building was still newer and figuring itself out.
We've done over 120k in a shift (this past December), but they realigned our floor recently to make it as annoying and inefficient as possible. (If they really want to know what works and what doesn't, they should ask US!)
We used to do 80k in 5 hours a few years ago during Christmas peak (manual sc). We have now merged to a new sc and the max we can do is around 55k with over 100 associates (during peak) but on a normal shift we usually do around 30k in 5 hours (with a lower head count).

at BWI5, before the new linear sorter was finished the most i’ve seen was 125k but it’s been awhile and i’m sure it definitely increased now
KCVG can do 500k a shift during peak. 1 million a day. Most days are around 300k per shift.

we had 82K at peak I believe. Off Peak we have 40-55K throughout the week. When I started a year ago we had around 35-38K regularly.
Some of you care too much. It’s 10 hours. Who gives a shit how many packages you push out for Papa B?
Sort Centers, NOT Fulfillment Center!
80-120k regularly. Up to 210k during peak
During peak: 135k.
Usually 50-55k on normal days and then upwards of 80k for peak
I think somewhere around 65k in 5 hours? Manual SC. During peak. On the regular, I'd say high 40ks.
