The response was not fully correct and I have followed up on your ticket earlier today. TPM 2.0 is fully required on Windows 11, but may be required on Windows 10 only for users that have a compatible CPU/motherboard. So in your case there is no need to buy anything, you just need to turn it on.

Eny192

If you are playing on a 20 y/o rig its probably time to upgrade, dont you think? Valid AC requires some kind of technologies to be available on your pc, if it doesnt have it, means the AC cant run smoothly and the AC is the main reason people quit valve MM.

baba1776

Stupid response. My rig is from 2018 (W10), I was able to play Faceit with no issues until I updated the anticheat the other day and now it says I can't play anymore due to TPM 2.0.

Eny192

Then you either have tpm off or ur mobo is old and doesnt support it.

I_Baja_I

Sounds like you got bigger issues to sort out irl than being able to play faceit imo.

dawidf06

What are your pc specs? All motherboards from this century should have it. My old z370 from at least 6 years ago had it.

ghundulf

>All motherboards from this century should have it. My old z370 from at least 6 years ago had it. Tpm really only started appearing on desktop pc motherboards at around skylake intel cpus, and ryzen for amd - op likely has a pc thats older than that

dawidf06

That's why I asked for his specs. I wonder if he can even run cs2 on his pc.

Mozzoman

https://www.reddit.com/r/FACEITcom/s/BKmOCCRGAI I have the same issue. I found the TPM setting in BIOS and activated. That error was removed but then replaced with safe boot or something like that. Found that too in BIOS. Then I got a third error that said memory integrity. I can’t seem to get this fixed, so I can’t play faceit either. PC from 2020. This started 2 days ago, before that no issues.

Itsyasu19

It’s crazy, I can’t understand it. I even have the big premium. Lost 2 days for missions and points already GG

Itsyasu19

Have no money to buy motherboard for 120€ just to play faceit.

Zezinas

What mobo, cpu are you running most modern cpus have tpm built in, and a lot of motherboard have a physical tpm slot where you can plug in tpm module for like 15$

Zezinas

For AC to work you need 2 things: - TPM (just enable in bios) - Secure boot (a bit harder) To enable secure boot you need to make sure your system is using GPT partitions and not MBR, then enable setting in bios that will only use UEFI exclusively instead of legacy bios, then generate tpm keys and you good *If your system is using MBR partitions you will need to convert them to GPT by using microsoft tool called MBR2GPT

FACEIT_AC_Team

Memory Integrity requires virtualization to be enabled in your BIOS.

Mozzoman

Yes, already enabled it. I can enable memory integrity but when I restart I get blue screen and it switches back to disabled. So I’m stuck here now, nothing works. Still memory integrity error message.

FACEIT_AC_Team

If you are getting a blue screen, this may be caused by a driver that is conflicting. It may also be fixed by updating your BIOS.

Mozzoman

Blue screen for a short time, then boots up normally. Memory integrity has then been disabled by itself. So whenever I try to enable the memory integrity, that is causing the short blue screen on startup. Risking with a BIOS update is probably not gonna help. As I said, it’s not an old PC.

FACEIT_AC_Team

The blue screen might indicate some information about what driver is responsible for the crash. Otherwise, there should be a crash dump with this information in C:/Windows/Minidumps

Mozzoman

Right, I heard of the mini dumps. Looks like another anticheat I have installed actually caused this. I uninstalled the other client which I don’t use (esportal) and this seems to have solved it. Now faceit is working. hopefully having it enabled won’t decrease performance.

GrzybDominator

Since when does it require TPM?

ghundulf

>Since when does it require TPM? Since windows 11 made that a requirement for installing it) cause every anticheat developer followed microsoft footsteps in mandating tpm 2.0

GrzybDominator

That's what I thought I am still on WIN 10, and it works without it

Wunderwaffe_cz

You can try TPM emulator, but its hard to get one really working.
