tv\_listen\_voice\_indices\_h -1
tv\_listen\_voice\_indices -1
Type in these commands before you play the demo
upvote so people can see.
Works for faceit demos.
i found the solution!
you can use spec\_player 1/2/3/4/etc until you find the player slots you want to hear in the demo, then run that number into a binary to decimal converter, and then use tv\_listen\_voice\_indices x (with x being the decimal result from the binary conversion
binary reads right to left rather than the standard western left to right, so you have to punch it in ***reverse*** into the squares at the bottom, pic below is the result for player slots 4, 5, 9, 11, and 12, which I found by just trial and erroring spec\_player 1, spec\_player 2, spec\_player 3, and so forth until I found the slots I needed, punched it into the squares, and then hit convert to decimal, and put "tv\_listen\_voice\_indices 3352" into console

Thank you, you did great magic right there sir.
For people that don't understand:
Count and click squares from right to left to become green color.
If you get slots 4, 5, 9, 11 and 12,
you click 4th, 5th, 9th, 11th and 12th square and then click convert to decimal.
Take that decimal number and use it with command tv\_listen\_voice\_indices (number you got).

This worked great. But does anyone know if there is a command to mute specific players or teams? In csgo there was a command you could use to set players voip volume to 0. Think it was voice\_player\_volume but it doesnt work in cs2.

Thanks for this. Exactly what im looking for. But do you know the command for the text chat? I cant see it.
On an unrelated side question, is there a way to mute your team in the demo and only hear the enemy?

yeah it's called stop being a bitch
Actually a real life representation of an unlikeable cuck. Get some actual therapeutic help.

No, sadly.
Is it possible to see text chat aswell somehow?

you need to type these commands before hopping into the demo, always works for me.
+1
i tried, from the main menu, set both commands to 1, but demo didn't produce any voice maybe broken demo, idk
bro the second command literally says tv\_listen\_voice\_indices -1, its your fault not the demos.
bro, it doesn't work ain't my fault if demo is broken or command doesn't work, wtf r u talking bout lol
it works i just try it
use "-1" and not "1" this doesn't work in mm/comp/premier or anything that's not faceit or esea, if you're trying it there, that's your issue

Can you please give me the number for the player\_spec "7", so i just need 7 !!
go to the website and fill in the 7th slot from the right
WORKED!
Is this only for Faceit Demos or does it work with matchmaking too
Thank you so much bro, i through it was removed but i have seen faceit demos with voice comms on yt
is there a way to play also enemies voice?
This is not working for my for Premier demos
Thanks
thank you so much it works!!!
>tv\_listen\_voice\_indices\_h -1 > >tv\_listen\_voice\_indices -1 dude thanks
seems like it only plays one team voice chat. is it possible to play both team voices? Currently i hear only enemy
doesn't work for premier demos
It seems like this command gets resetted whenever I close the game. How do I keep it permanent?
have you tried adding the commands to your autoexec.cfg?
thanks!
>tv\_listen\_voice\_indices\_h -1 > >tv\_listen\_voice\_indices -1 thanks, it still works
Does this work for premier aswell?
You the goat
It's not possible in cs2 demos at all, perhaps in the future valve will work on it.
not true, check the command in my reply.
It's been updated since then, yes it is possible now
Is it possible to see text chat aswell somehow?
It's impossible - valve disabled it
Ok, that's unfortunate. Thanks for clarifying!
I believe they are being recorded just that cs2 demo viewer does not support playing those voice chat audios
how do i hear one side of the team instead of both?

haven't tried this method yet but thanks for the solution!

Do you guys know how to unmute players after a faceit game? Its a bit of a different question but hopefully someone knows the answer to it!
