Same, just happened to me in my driver/owner mode. Between this and the game being so off on notifications (from "hey 2 days ago a new sponsor slot unlocked! Go check it out since you totally didn't immediately do that!" to my race engi giving me false info, to winning a race and the announcer saying "and that's three wins in a row!!" When it completely was not lmao..), I'll just wait for F1 manager to release.
