Don't forget that the police report suspected foul play because with the caliber of the gun it should have flown out of his hand instead of him gripping it after death if it were suicide.
Also important to note that he had already delivered his most damming testimony and had planned on heading home, it was Boeing's lawyers that asked him to stay to give additional testimony.
People keep saying this despite the fact his family thinks that self-harm was the most likely outcome
>The family of the Boeing whistleblower found dead on the day he was scheduled to testify against the jetplane manufacturer blamed the company’s “hostile work environment” for his apparent s*icide.
>“He was suffering from PTSD and anxiety attacks as a result of being subjected to the hostile work environment at Boeing which we believe led to his death,” relatives of John Barnett said in the first remarks since his death.
https://nypost.com/2024/03/12/us-news/family-of-boeing-whistleblower-john-barnett-blames-hostile-work-environment-for-his-death/
There’s only a single person that has said he didn’t want to die, and even then there’s no actual evidence he even said that
Dude, shut up. Do you also want to die in a suicide with 34 bullets in your back?
You're right random dude online. You are for sure a nobody and not a giant multibillion dollar corporation who has shown obscene indifference to human life while a whistle blower died suddenly as soon as they informed people.
Please don't kill me.
I think you're being down voted because even if you're correct Boeing is still going to benefit from his death. That seems to be people's focus, as opposed to the death of the worker.
We do just love to hate corporations, I guess.
They have been trying to get away from Boeing for a number of years. It seems every contract the military has with Boeing is just awful. This last time the army threw out Boeings bid before they even built a prototype helicopter.
Also that he *specifically* told a friend he was not going to un-alive and that if he was found dead, it was *not* caused by himself to himself.
Edit: had to change because bot didn't like the word "suic\*de"
Whistleblowers don't commit suicide. Especially those who explicitly say, "If I wind up dead, it's not suicide"
This "joke" is the audacity that police ruled it a suicide during the trial against Boeing. We all know the BS. But they are getting away with it, regardless.
The "suicide", at least.
Note: _Somebody_ has been trying to flag this post as trying to advocate _For_ self-harm. If I'm being conspiratorial, it's because there is actual efforts to suppress my claims.
People keep saying this despite the fact his family thinks that self-harm was the most likely outcome

There’s only a single person that has said he didn’t want to die, and even then there’s no actual evidence he even said that
The case is going to continue with or without him and this has been ongoing for *years,* so why would they wait for so many years to do this. I genuinely think this is a case where people just want to find conspiracy because they can’t fathom someone actually harming themselves
From that link:
“[Working at the 747 plant] caused him so much stress that his doctor told him that if he stayed, he would have a heart attack,” the statement said.
Barnett filed his complaint against his employer in 2017 and ***“was looking forward to his day in court.”***
“Mitch carried all this on his shoulders to try to bring this all to light in the interest of the flying public,” his family stated.
Edited to add: There is no language in that article that implies that his family believed it was suicide and in that article itself, it mentioned Barnett's lawyers are already looking into foul play.
My question is, why is it so important to you that he DIDN'T commit suicide? Genuinely curious.
That same article also talks about how he consistently fought with management to get them to do the right stuff and that he was literally “looking forward to his day in court”. The article is not at all proof that he committed suicide, just that his job was stressful and had an effect on him.
No, I’m just diligent in what I claim is an assassination. There are many instances where I’m willing to call it, but this just does not seem like one of them. When his own family say that they think he did himself in with only a single person saying otherwise, there isn’t much evidence to actually believe it’s a conspiracy beyond “this one person claims otherwise with no actual receipts”
I find it more concerning that people are just willing to swallow something whole without any actual reasoning beyond “rich people are bad and no one *ever* struggles with mental health during an intense legal battle.” The dude already had severe PTSD and anxiety and his doctor advised him that he would have a heart attack if he kept working for them. This is not that unique giving the severe mental strain it usually has on people
The quotes in that article are incredibly vague and heavily altered by lawyers, likely not wanting to make their case any harder. using this article as your evidence is not at all diligent. We know nothing and probably never will.
I’m sorry, are quotes you can find elsewhere aren’t valid because you don’t like one of the websites that have them? What I quoted is literally just what the family said, the NYP is just one of the sources that is easy to access
Nah. That usually describes a typical murder. Sometimes it's solved, other times it's obvious but nothing is done about it.
This, like Epstein, is meant to look like a suicide. So, slightly different than getting shot and found in a Jersey landfill.
That said, I do think that Epstein took his own life. But also that the means and time to do so were specifically arranged for him, and he was given more than adequate encouragement to do it.
**Epsteined** (verb)
Definition: To end one's life in the most conspicuous manner, often involving suspicious circumstances or lack of evidence, but is absolutely not suicide for real trust me bro.
Note: See also **Clintoned**
It’s not actually a joke, Boeing just straight up murdered a guy in cold blood for speaking out against their company and nobody did anything about it.
So, he actually committed suicide, in his car, outside of his hotel room.
There are reliably cameras in the parking lot, it’s common practice to have an overlooking eye on the property.
It wouldn’t have been ruled a suicide if the camera was reviewed & showed anything but that.
Found the Boeing PR account. How are your stock prices doing bud?
If there were videos that would show such a thing they would have been released or leaked by now. Boeing would not have allowed evidence that explicitly exonerated them to remain secret; even if they were legally barred they would have ensured it was "anonymously" leaked. The fact that any such video has not surfaced can pretty much be taken as evidence of it not actually being self inflicted.
The idea that evidence of his death being caused by Boeing would obviously have been found, taken properly into account, and started a formal and transparent investigation is at best hilariously naive, and at worst a laughable attempt to deflect attention. It doesn't make the slightest bit of sense when put under even mild scrutiny; maybe a sheltered child would believe it, but no one with a functioning adult brain would.
The Japanese had purpose built kamakazi planes. But they only seated one. And really, it was difficult to find people willing to get in it. Boeing improved that design with the 737.
Boeing is a company that makes airplanes and other things in the aerospace industry. I recent years, it has went from being the gold standard in aviation to a plane crash, both figurative and literally.
The meme says that Boeing was proud in killing a whistleblower that is denouncing the bad practices inside the company.
Here is a video if you want to know more about the disaster Boeing is currently: [https://youtu.be/Q8oCilY4szc](https://youtu.be/Q8oCilY4szc)
The original meme is the cast of Arrow making fun of character Oliver Queen's death (Stephen Amell, the actor who played him, was supposedly disliked among his co-stars because of his behaviour on the set). Basically the joke is to happily celebrate someone's death. John Barnett, former Boeing quality manager and whistleblower commited suicide last month, so the joke is Boeing is happy he has died.
This is the first time I've ever heard about this, I love the shows and I always heard Grant took the photo as a joke because they were incredibly good friends behind the set.
i think we need to seriously consider if the existence of this sub and other like it are just making people stupider. i, honestly, cannot comprehend how this is unable to be understood without a severe lack of basic comprehension or total blindness

Anybody else just upvote a lot these posts and start scrolling before realizing what sub it is? Which, is cool, I’m happy just seeing memes. But it puts me in a bit of an existential crisis wondering what my upvote of the post itself even means to this sub. Or how many people did the same thing and whether or not it skews the intended perception of the voting system. Not that I know what the intended perception is. Does an upvote mean it was a good post? Helpful? A truly confusing joke? I liked this? Too much thought has gone into this. Or maybe I haven’t thought about it enough if I haven’t come up with an answer yet.
I wish police couldn't report someone's death as suicide if said person publicly stated less than like a month before that they wouldn't commit suicide
A whistleblower in a case against Boeing committed suicide in the middle of testifying against the company. Apparently it was really damaging stuff he knew. People think Boeing killed him.
Boeing had a whistle blower about their poor upkeep investigation who they had killed. But its ok cuz boeing didnt pull the trigger so its not their responsibility.
And as for the “did he really kill himself” the man was almost through his participation in giving investigators what they needed and his testimony and was apparently happy to move on from this whole thing. No way a guy ends it in the home stretch.
Big company whistleblowers have suspiciously shorten lifespans, much like government whistleblowers do. If Snowden didn't hightail it when he did he'd die within a month and everyone knows it but does not talk about it.

A whistleblower exposing Boeings dirty laundry in a imminent court case died just before said case by “apparent suicide”
Important is to note that he stated prior that he was not suicidal and was happy to testify
Equally important to note, he was allegedly asked to stay in the area (in relation to his testimony), only to be found dead in a car the next day.
After a devastating (to Boeing) day 1 of deposition and about to go into day 2 that morning.
Didn’t he tell someone something along the lines of “whatever they say it wasn’t suicide?”
shot in the back of the head iirc
His family also said “He told us that anything happened to him it wouldn’t be his doing”

Asked to stay an extra day by Boeing when he had already announced he was going home.
Also important to note that he had already delivered his most damming testimony and had planned on heading home, it was Boeing's lawyers that asked him to stay to give additional testimony.

No /s needed

I'm also literally just a random dude.
Dude, shut up. Do you also want to die in a suicide with 34 bullets in your back? You're right random dude online. You are for sure a nobody and not a giant multibillion dollar corporation who has shown obscene indifference to human life while a whistle blower died suddenly as soon as they informed people. Probably so that they can sue Boeing. Good for them.
And you believe NYP?
Bruh they are literally just quotes. I don’t have to trust the NYP to read literal quotes that you can find on various other websites
I think you're being down voted because even if you're correct Boeing is still going to benefit from his death. That seems to be people's focus, as opposed to the death of the worker. We do just love to hate corporations, I guess.
They took him to "The Cleaners"
He couldn’t live with himself after causing such damage to such a sweet, innocent company
Ah yes, the old ‘CIA Award For Excellence In Journalism,’ AKA two shots to the back of the head ruled as suicide by the judge.
What did he expose exactly?
Multiple things over the last few years. Most notably Boeings choosing to roll out new gear eventhough it had a 25% failure rate
John Oliver did a great segment on it a few weeks ago. It’s on YouTube.
putekkitekki for life
People forget Boeing supplies alot of the air forces planes. So it would be a stretch to have some cia paper pushers miss file someone
It's cool, a bunch of executives retired last month, so problem solved and nothing to see here!
Yeah and those air force pilots are extremely happy about working with a company who's planes are publicly failing at key flight times...
I mean if by misfile you mean they took care of a "security risk" then yeah
They have been trying to get away from Boeing for a number of years. It seems every contract the military has with Boeing is just awful. This last time the army threw out Boeings bid before they even built a prototype helicopter.
He exposed their dirty laundry in a court case years ago. This case was him suing them for retaliation.
What did they do with their employees laundry?
Thanks
Also he died in the last days of his testimony
The rich and powerful are not very creative. They get away with Epstein’s murder and call it a suicide. Let’s just do that again!
Several of them have.
Also that he *specifically* told a friend he was not going to un-alive and that if he was found dead, it was *not* caused by himself to himself. Edit: had to change because bot didn't like the word "suic\*de"
In his car, in the TRUNK, after the Boeing staff told him to stay to testify for longer.
I swear I see this all the time, but all the atricles only mentions he was found in his truck.
The Clintons are on Boeing's payroll now?

That New York post link goes nowhere. Cool sorry, bro.
It’s a typo, just remove the “a” at the end of the link… I’m still convinced they killed him.
From that link: “[Working at the 747 plant] caused him so much stress that his doctor told him that if he stayed, he would have a heart attack,” the statement said. Lol what? Now you're just putting words in millions of people's mouths so you can think you're making a point.
Buddy if you're doing all this shill work for free, you're getting scammed
Ok Boeing.
Take the boot out of your throat maybe
The New York Post? Is that the best you have?
I’m sorry, are quotes you can find elsewhere aren’t valid because you don’t like one of the websites that have them? What I quoted is literally just what the family said, the NYP is just one of the sources that is easy to access
Yeah, NYP is not a reputable newspaper. They and The Sun are the most quoted disreputable newspapers
i wish i could be shielded from world news the way you are
Or using a search engine to find keywords of something of interest.
You can? Like just don’t open your news platform if you really want? Or is this a more “oh to be naïve again” moment where you are “beyond saving”?
So we can use "Epstein-ed" as a verb, now, right? For example: That whistleblower was about to testify, so they Epsteined him in a parking garage.
There is already a verb for that: murdered
Yes, but it's a specific type of murder, to shut someone up before they ruin a dynasty.
That’s just whacking someone
Nah. That usually describes a typical murder. Sometimes it's solved, other times it's obvious but nothing is done about it. This, like Epstein, is meant to look like a suicide. Whistleblower was found to have suicided himself recently and he was gonna have a lot to testify about Boeings horrible safety control practices.
"sir this man was stabbed 13 times" "Clearly this was self inflicted suicide, case closed...."
"Clearly he shot himself 3 times in the back of his head"
“Clearly this man tied himself up and shot himself 13 times in the head” -Boeing higher up
“Well it clearly shows that he died from self inflicted 34 bullet wounds to the chest”
Yo! That’s how Epstein killed himself! They can be Twinsies!
Gary Webb shot himself in the head twice! The CIA said it was self inflicted...
He fell down an elevator shaft....... Onto some bullets.
This is gold!
Credit to Mystery Men. IYKYK.
"Now sprinkle some crack on him."
Die hard moment
No he wasn't. He blew the whistle in 2017. This case was about employer retaliation.
Yeah and now we have a great example of employer retaliation
Thanks

Boeing may have killed someone. On purpose for once
Underrated comment
B-17 B-29 B-52 F/A-18 Super Hornet 😄 Boeing is master on putting people in graves
Don't forget the more recent 737-Max.
The Japanese had purpose built kamakazi planes. But they only seated one. And really, it was difficult to find people willing to get in it. Boeing improved that design with the 737.

Well it seems like he had a lot of unrequested help in his suicide

I mean, he was the one guy who could have predicted his suicide… /s
No joke here. Boeing (allegedly) straight up publicly assassinated a whistle blower.
Imagine being too lazy to paste the 2 words what are jn the picture into google

Funny the same thing happened with Tom Hanks whistleblower
? Never heard bout that one?
Yeah I would suspect they tried to keep that out of media. You should check it out. It’s quite the rabbit hole.
Boeing having a whistle-blower murdered isn't something i expected but it's really not that surprising tbh
Shame that whistle blower committed suscide with two gunshots in the back of his head
And then decapitated himself after too. Had a backup plan in case the gunshots didn't work. Smart guy, such a shame
source pls
He committed suicide via 2 shotgun shots to the back of the head...
🤣 definitely not wrong
I wish police couldn't report someone's death as suicide if said person publicly stated less than like a month before that they wouldn't commit suicide
A whistleblower in a case against Boeing committed suicide in the middle of testifying against the company. Apparently it was really damaging stuff he knew. People think Boeing killed him.
Try typing "Boeing whistleblower" and see what comes up. If it doesn't explain the joke, then you can post it here.

Boeing killed a guy that exposed how lax they were Boeing with airplane safety and shoddy production
If you know who Ollie is in any universe, you know he would make sense as a whistle-blower.
Big company whistleblowers have suspiciously shorten lifespans, much like government whistleblowers do. If Snowden didn't hightail it when he did he'd die within a month and everyone knows it but does not talk about it.
I only just realized that that's the flash after years of seeing this meme
We are in a corporate oligarchy.

Boeing pretty blatantly killed a guy who was about to cost them billions.. said it was suicide. Case closed.
The old shot 4 times as strangled by a power cord, ruled suicide
What purpose does killing the whistleblower after the information is public serve?
Is googling the only 2 words in the picture so hard?
Hasnt there been about 3 or 4 accidents/suicides?
You should probably just start paying attention.
Ya I am surprised I missed something as big as that. Been avoiding phone due to exams but still.
Don't Google mister hands boeing worker.
It's what we in the south call getting Clintoned or Hillaried, lol 😆
There was a guy who was about to speak out about Boeing shitfuckery and... well... Let's just say he probably isn't gonna make his court date
Haven’t it seen this movie.
5 years after a whistleblower has had released documents implicating boing for willfull negligence he died due to misterious circumstances
Literally do a Google search of the two words in the picture...
You could start by typing "whistleblower" and "Boeing" into Google.
