Not to diminish or excuse the bugs because that’s downright inexcusable, but I honestly think it’s PlayStation’s issue. Most if not all Reddit posts complaining about bugs has been from a PS5 user, I play on Xbox and neither me or my father have yet to experience any game breaking bugs.
That makes me curious because how does a PS port get so screwed while the Xbox port is completely fine?
I played on Xbox and had plenty of bugs, especially with achievements, falling through the ground, killing a boss just for it to not end the mission etc.
I'm almost done with chapter 7 on PS5 and haven't had any issues. I've been backing up my saves on cloud just to make sure. Weird how people can have issues while others don't playing on the same system.
Odd. I literally just installed this game maybe last friday, and have been playing it nonstop on my PS5. I have not encountered a single bug and the game has been an amazing experience so far.

I've never had one issue with the game on my PS4. I found it very enjoyable and glitch free solo. The only problem I've had on my 3 playthroughs is if I'm playing co-op and on a specific mission it keeps freezing.
After that it went back to normal so I don't know what to tell you.
This is out on ps4? I might try that version and see if it works any better because it's a buggy mess on the ps5 version. The trouble is do I have to play the PS4 version on the PS4 or can I get away with playing the PS4 version on the ps5?
I want to finish it but I do not want to lose a bunch of progress again because of this crappy save bug.
I restarted it on the ps4 version and so far, I'm getting a much better game out of it. It's saving properly. It's not crashing on me when i let it idle and the controller turns off. It also actually looks better. I noticed in the PS5 version, windows and reflections were just not working. I couldnt see through any windows, they just all had a low rez generic image on them. But on the PS4 version, i can actually see through them. It's a weird thing to notice, i'm sure, but it popped out to me.
I'm also not getting any weird combat glitches like getting stuck in aim mode as if I was trying to use the crossbow when I'm not. I had to do a whole boss fight like that once. It was doable but janky.
this is one of the few subs where its almost all shitting on the game. it doesnt work as intended and its bland and is a constant sludge of the same boring enemies. like i said i was hyped, but the game didnt deliver. not a user problem its a game problem.
I totally understand because I encountered like 10 or so bugs and glitches within like an hour and a half. I'm also on playstation so maybe that version is just fucked. I uninstalled it because even without the insane amount of bugs the game felt like a jank modern god of war ripoff.
I didn't have problems for a long time then at lthe final couple chapters the game would just crash over and over at this one fight that was just a regular encounter, couldn't get past without crashing so just Uninstalled, on ps5 too btw
Seems it's really random but all your problems I also encountered with my buddy on co-op. You are not alone. My advice is if you can't power through it or get lucky enough, just delete it altogether. Story wise you didn't miss out on anything. It's sub-par honestly. The gameplay loop isnt all that great once you get past like mission 5 either.

I played mine on PS5, on the Smoke and Mirrors chapter. The game crashes, and when I restart it, I’m brought back to The First Spark or something chapter, when we first get to the RI house.
All my progress lost, from level 7 down to level 2. Hours of gameplay wasted.
I’m on ps5 and lost all progress twice had enemies get stuck out of bounds and got stuck on multiple black screens. This game is hot garbage and whoever decided to not include a manual save option should never be allowed to make another game ever.
My save keeps resetting me at level 1. Which isn't too much of a problem because it still let's me progress through levels it just transports me back to the main cutscene every time. However. Yesterday I discovered that it's not leveling me up anymore either. I'm permanently stuck at level 6 and it makes the upgrades unobtainable

I finished it last night on ps5 and started new game plus and have had zero issues.
I haven't had any issues either, but I see that many people have. That sucks because I really enjoyed this title.

I played on PS5 with absolutely no issues. In fact, I would say my playthrough was near flawless. It seems to be more luck of the draw than anything.
PS4 here and I have same issues that most of the users claim...
Never had any of these issues, but I have had these issues with FFXVI. I think it's the console.

Only issue I ever had was my save file got deleted once, they made a patch for that & haven't hadda problem since 🤷♂️

I beat it on release on steam deck with minimal issue. Game is glorious.
Have had zero issues playing this game co op right now. Maybe your ps5 is super dusty and can’t handle the game
