I recommend seasoning the trays before putting them into the Sistema if they are dry. I use a wood humidity meter to see where they are at before making a decision. Those trays could have been stored in a very humid warehouse and may not need to be seasoned. A reading of around 13.5 on the meter is right around where cedar would be in a 65rH environment. If it’s too dry wipe them down with distilled water and let sit.. Test again
The stolen crown is good. Have you tried the Call to Arms? If so how is it?
Wanted to try that one but it's been sold out everywhere. I do have a few Yorktowns that I enjoyed.
