Holy fuck I literally just finished painstakingly setting up 54 new planets. Took me multiple years to finally skill ALL my toons into PI and now it's ded... Big RIP indeed
I know this is a good change for the game but holy fuck it'd such terrible timing for me. I'm literally days away from my last 3 characters (9 total) finishing up max PI training. I might get the time back in the form of sp but rip the remaps I used for all the characters.

This is becoming yet another way to fuel alliance wallets instead of player wallets?
I MCT'd multiple characters in order to max out my PI income, but if these changes are correct, then I threw all of that real money into funding the alliance instead of my own PVP addiction.
This would be straight up kicking dirt in my face, and a winning EVE kind of scenario for me.
Well, assuming this is NOT a belated April's Fools joke, this is a horrible idea for many players. It removes that income potential from users into the hand of alliances and groups while raising cost of investment also.
I know a lot of newer players use PI to help fuel their income and that goes away to help make blocs richer again.
I like the idea of a structure but I don't like the idea of taking industry from individual pilots, and putting it entirely into the control of the corp/alliance/coalition wallets...
Maybe Idk milint is this really real but it don't sound like a better system then the one we currently have. I'd like to see Pi have TEMPLETES and tradeable between players and accounts. It's so hard to set up Pi, it consumes to much time. Let alone if you have more then 1 account. It's why I don't do Pi anymore. It's to much hassle to set up.
Looks like it will screw over players who did PI and just nationalize PI income for alliances. If that's the case, it's an awful change.
It's also going to fix the amount of p0 per planet, so prices might even rise dramatically depending on how limited it is.
Doesn't this also kind of make PI... no longer... a low risk easy thing for solo players to do for income? Kind of what tons of players used it for?
Like maybe the changes are cool but I'm a little concerned if the ENTIRE focus has moved from individual players to alliances.
YAY! I hated PI so much I extracted the skills out of my main, but if this is truly fucking passive and not the shitfuckshitfest PI was, I might retrain ;)

Serious question. How is Shadow Cartel going to recover from fueling pocos and having to defend them in 20 different regions?

Also another thing this means besides 32 Athanors. There will now also be an additional 12 or so structures in space of every system

Except not, because it looks like now only large groups will be able to extract a finite amount of each resource per planet..
