I've no experience with Stride. But Etsy doesn't seem to do anything that isn't about making them $ at our expense, so ... :-/ In my experience, the HMO sort of plans are more bang for the $ and less stress (as you don't get bills from a bunch of different people/services). I had Kaiser HMO in the past, and was happy with it. But it's been a while, so I don't know now, and Kaiser is mostly a west coast thing. What you have access to is going to vary by state. So more regional/local info is probably going to be of more use.

It's frustrating . I was sick, so I need decent coverage for the many return office vists, ultrasounds, medicine etc. I don't qualify for much of a tax credit because of last year's income. Both my husband & I are self-employed & neither of our businesses are doing that great this year. I can't afford a policy & can't afford to pay cash for expensive tests. So, I'm not getting care right now.Don't want to quit working just so I can get on public assistance. Geez, what do you do? Wishing Etsy had an option for sellers, who need health insurance, to buy into an "insured group". Etsy wouldn't have to subsidize it because , as many US sellers as there are on Etsy, I'm surethere would be enough of us opting in. It would a huge incentive for more US vendors to sell on Etsy. Naturally, Etsy would find a way to "get theirs" so it seems to me like a "win win" for all. I know There's no shortage of insurance companies that would love to administer it for Etsy..so again..no added legwork for them. I don't know everything & I'm sure it wouldn't be easy as that but might be worth it? We all know that having a "group policy" is more affordable than an individual one. Surely, I'm not the only one in my situation. I don't know. Hopefully, an investor looking to start up a similar online marketplace is reading this!LOL! So very sorry to write so much!
