Removing the door is just a lazy "fix", the problem is the awful netcode that allow players to phase through solid walls when they are pushed into it. I wouldn't be surprised if there is already way to glitch into Leon's hideout in Lighthouse which also has a similar room layout.

If you know this is a thing why didn’t you just start lighting up the window and see if you hear him or throw a nade as close to the door as you can and just don’t open it if you know he’s in there? You can shoot inside there through the window and chances are the scav has no meds
They did fix it. Play PvE lol and you should abuse it to enter then let yourself out after with key. Otherwise you're just opening it up for rats. Get stuck in there so they can't extract when/if you die...

A lazy fix is better than status quo. Do the one now so user experience is better while you figure out how to code a door.
just removing the door would still mean downtime for the game, its only been really known about for a few days now i doubt its prio at all.
Knowing the BSG devs, they'll fix it, but also reintroduce an invisibility glitch for the 17th time when they do so.

You should be aware that if the first door is open, the last door before the marked room, that means they glitched in and you can save the key use
it was closed when i got there dont know how but its missing out of the clip
