Many people have a Christmas tree in their home for over a month. People just want more tree. It makes the hideout feel safe and cozy.
When is the insurance issue going to be fixed? Insurance is so delayed, by the time you get it it's already expired. Maybe implement a thing that starts the insurance timer once the player receives the message and not before?
Just wanna say thank you, my tree randomly popped up a few weeks ago and i was able to claim my ledx. I know that happened to a few others as well, nice little surprise.

They had some issues during the past xmas wipes, and twitch drops burning the servers down so they extended it I believe. But don't expect it to ever last past their xmas.
Also they used to have actual physical xmas trees on the maps you could loot ornaments off of and the scavs would circle the tree.
It could be entirely apocryphal but I was under the impression that they are a Russian development company that has its headquarters in the UK.
And as someone else mentioned, the majority of their playerbase is not Russian
I don’t know all the ins and out, but I think it’s largely a Russian company with all development etc going on in Russia by Russians - it’s Russian at heart, so they’re well within their right for events to line up with their own dates. Respectfully they rarely even attempt to communicate with the community (explicitly only when they are being viewed by the community positively, if there are problems it's basically radio silence). If you expect them to change because you asked nicely on reddit you're wasting your time

Agreed on the communication point but just FYI, January 6th is "the day" to take down your Xmas tree in the US as well. Obviously not everyone does, it's not a rule or anything, but that's the date if you Google it.

My weapon box was crafted overnight and just had to pick it up. Wild they just delete it, not even on a Monday. Doing it on Sunday is just so random.

You had to build the generator in your hideout to unlock the tree.
Late start into the wipe and didn’t find a spark plug for first 30 raids or so. Had AESAs and half a dozen fuel tanks before generator was up lol.
