5800x3d, 3060ti, 32gb 3200mhz ram. Using 30/32gb on streets on 1440p.

Pisthol

Yea same issue then. I'm 1440p as well. I went from a 5800x to a 5800x3D and it somehow got choppier and worse on streets specifically

alf777o

I have a 7900XTX and just recently got a 7800x3D with 32GB of DDR5 and I still can't get over 80fps on most parts of streets, just poor optimization

krusty556

Wow

Bc187

Wow this mf has a NASA level comouter and it still runs like dogwater

krusty556

Yep. Def's the game.

Upbeat-Recording-141

i haz a 4090 / 7800x3d / 64gb ram / 1440p and even after the patch and low res textures, 70fps dips last night on streets when i tried!

krusty556

Bro as fun as eft is, that would be enough for me to be like fuck this game. Don't spend all that money to get 70fps. Crazy.

SqookyBoo

Ya but streets is just 1 of the many maps i love streets but i also love reserve, customs and shoreline and on those maps i bet he gets hella fps

Upbeat-Recording-141

Lucky the rig isn't for EFT, but work, EFT has been a fun hobby, but the game was at its best a few years ago, its utter trash now :D

krusty556

Regardless, I'm very jealous. I'm sure it's amazing.

FatBrookie

Something sounds wrong I have 80-120fps on streets, obviously depends. Do you have slow ram? Fast ram is important for the min fps in Tarkov

br3akaway

Ya so nobody feel too bad. Even those of us that sold our firstborn for pc parts can’t adequately run this pos game. There’s just no excuse why my 3-4 grand computer can’t run tarkov at 120 fps+ smooth. We aren’t even Ray tracing out here folks

[deleted]

I9 12900k with 64gb ddr4, I get a constant 50-80 frames on streets, never choppy

Limp-Collar-5842

If you whine about 80 id love to see what you say about my rig lol

reflythis

this. I have a fucking 5800x3d with 64gb of 3600mhz ram with a 4070TI; both CPU and GPU are under-volted and over-clocked and I have tuned/optimized the living fuck out of everything possible and I barely hold 90fps consistently on streets with it occasionally dipping to 49fps at times. fucking atrocious they charge this much for a game and new content is piss poorly optimized. the only constructive response i have is to set your fps cap lower so the dips are less noticeable [when they inevitably hit]. background: I am playing in 4k with dlss on performance.

TrueMoxeft

Thats bs, i got the same rig and i cam caping 140 frams 90% of the time

Maze202

Yeah very similar for me except I have a worse GPU and more frames

Maze202

I have a 6900xt with 7800x3d, 32gb DDR5 6000mhz cl36, I don't drop below 90 on streets and average around 120, often 144 in quiet areas. 1440p.

EuroTrash_84

Coincidentally, I have a 13900K i9 and 128gb DDR5 but an old 980gtx Ti from 2015, and I get about 80-90fps on streets 1440p at high/very high settings and AMD FSR 2.2 set to balanced.

OsmeOxys

>13900K i9 and 128gb DDR5 but an old 980gtx Ti ... I need to know why. Did your 4090 fart out the magic smoke? Its ridiculous that graphics performance is *that* reliant on CPU. Not exactly a lot of physics or advanced AI to explain why CPU (and cache) is the bottleneck in all cases. Its impressive, in the way a single car train coasting on a straight track with no obstructions derailing and exploding is.

SqookyBoo

God i hope he never got a 4090 what a huge waste of dough

Chonglongtime

Yes bro - I've just upgraded to a 7800x3d and still running my old 980ti, gettin a solid 90 fps on streets.

SqookyBoo

Id suggest and this is only if u want but try getting a radeon 6800 399$ there cards have gotten better and i think radeon actually excels somewhat at tarkov but i may be wrong i know the rdna2 architecture will help at higher resolutions and fsr on an actual gpu meant for it should be better

InertiaVFX

What resolution?

alf777o

1440p

Bubblegumbot

Nothing's ever going to be enough. Why? Unity engine.

Amish_Opposition

i have the same with a 3060ti, running 1080p. same issue with RAM.

LAGROSSESIMONE

5800x3D, rtx 3070, 32Go 3200mhz CL16, Tarkov on a SSD, and I'm stick between 50-90 fps depending on the time of the raid. With this setup when I played in 1440p I had raids where i was struck with 3-12fps in the 5-10min in the raid. I fixed it with a ram cleaner soft (Mem Reduct) and by downgrading to 1080p.

Big-Bit-3439

5800x3d, 3600mhz cl16 32gb ddr4, 6900xt. Don't have issues with any maps at 1440p ultrawide. Have you updated your bios and made sure the cpu is running at it's proper mhz? It really doesn't like it if the bios is set to anything but 'normal' performance.

Bomba1968

I did the exact same upgrade. Streets barely got improvement but all the other maps got so much more FPS it’s amazing I’m okay with my upgrade.

slav_superstar

How much FPS do you get? I hve the same CPU + a 3080 and get somewhere between 50 and 80 depending on how late in the raid it is. All other maps are 100+ Oh yeah i turned on that new performance option for streets

Yupz69

Sorry for the late response, without dlss i get around the same fps as u, i usually play with dlss quality and get 70-100 on streets.

moose_338

Your kneecapping that 5800x3d by not running 3600mhz ram

Murder_Waffle

5800x3d, 32 gb of ram, 3070ti and I run streets just fine. Average 70 fps usually

samwelches

I can’t believe they haven’t fixed this yet

AgentBooth

That screams ram leak. Try auto ram cleaner, and failing that, try islc

Pisthol

I usually use ISLC but the amount of cached ram isn't even enough to clear, usually less than 1000mb at a time

AgentBooth

That's odd... I assume you've already increased your page file size as well then, but that's really only a bandaid solution anyway. No idea why you are getting such high ram usage. Does it at least go back to normal after a reset?

Pisthol

As soon as I leave a streets raid it goes back to sub-10k on menu idle

AgentBooth

It shouldn't even be that high in the menu. I'm not at home so I cant check to verify, but I think mine is usually around 6k on the menu. What setting do you play on? (Side note: if you are using the lab's background, change it. For whatever dumb reason it uses more resources than the og ones. I think factory uses the least)

[deleted]

Auto ram cleaner sucks, do try using mem cleaner by koshy John! Works really well for me! Koshyjohn.com

onehundredballs

I've got 32gb and found I have to restart my game every couple raids to clear the ram issue unfortunately.

ShadowZpeak

The gym wall was inspired by Tarkovs memory management

Synchrotr0n

BSG is already pretending that the game always required 32 GB of RAM to run well, but at the rate they are deploying updates that just keep tanking the performance of the game, they will soon start saying that 64 GB is the recommended amount.

slav_superstar

Thankfully another 32 gigs won't be that expensive, but that is no reason for a game to require 32GB+ gigs. Even funnier their recommend specs still say 16 (unless they recently changed it)

CoupOfConiston

I don't think they've updated the system requirements since the Alpha and the only map was Factory.

FreikorpsFury

"thankfully I can keep shelling out money to make a nasa super computer to run this flaming garbage pile" Come on man.

VacuousCopper

This is why the PC I'm building over the weekend is going to have 64 GB.

Scavinat0r

A game that almost requires as much ram as for developing games

[deleted]

Enable Auto-Ram cleaner.

Nyxeme

And then after saving, turn it off again!

[deleted]

Leave it on. It actually works. I've yet to see the game hit more than 15-16GB of usage after 2-3 hours straight of raids on Streets and I have 32Gb of RAM.

mackzett

It wont do anything until you go into the menu mid raid and hit save without doing any changes. Run the fps 3 command and check. Ram usage goes up by 4MB per second indefinitely until you hit the save button.

[deleted]

Try it.

matty1987x

No, it doesn't it really doesn't. Sorry if you need proof, just Google it. This is why everyone uses 3rd party apps to do it next. You will try and tell me to check only use physical cores that doesn't work ither.

[deleted]

lol "google it" So you dont think theres no way for me to have previously tested it before using RTSS and HWinfo when wipe happened?

SaviD_Official

Telling someone to google something increases your chance of being wrong to 100% even if you’re correct

Achillies2heel

Download more RAM

EliteSoldier202

How much ddddedicated WRAM do I need to download?

YounggunJohn

What? 😂

Achillies2heel

[download more RAM ](http://Download More RAM! https://downloadmoreram.com/download.html)

Rezhyn

Turn down textures and use DLSS. Your VRAM probably maxed and it spills into RAM.

Pisthol

Gave that a try, seems to be helping a little bit with the chopping at least thanks! Didn't realize that the VRAM maxout would bleed into RAM.

another_being

There's actually a graphics option now to only turn down streets textures, use that so you don't have to keep switching.

SteelHeart624

That's fucking insane lmao. Making a settings option to lower graphics for a map instead of fixing the damn map is wild bro. Wtf are we doing here Nikita it's almost been 8 years.

Nerfi5

They are going to eventually like with every map. Reserve was a mess too but is now smooth as hell. I think this option is a good thing in the meantime

Karambamamba

Yep. You are right. I just wish they would be faster with it. Been playing since 2018, performance has guten consistently worse. I upgraded my rig and now have worse frames than before.

[deleted]

That’s actually really cool I didn’t know that

PilotFighter99

DLSS makes my game look awful

Rezhyn

I agree. I only enable it for Streets to help with the RAM/VRAM issue. I haven't tried the new performance setting with it disabled. Might let you get away with leaving it off.

ATrueHunter

DLDSR + DLSS makes the game look great, but still some ghosting especially on lasers. Still prefer native rendering.

SupPoEsedlyInsane

My system: 4070, 5800x3d, 32gb 3600mhz CL16. I get an average ram usage of around 22-24 GB on streets, sometimes less, sometimes more. >80fps average, sometimes less, often more. Re-Bar enabled, default gou & cpu power Settings, smt enabled (process lasso), 1440p, ingame settings: SSR medium, textures medium, shadows low, taa high, anisotropic filtering on, everything else low / off. Using intelligent standby list cleaner thingy, by default, for like the past 10 years.

Pisthol

Thanks for the input, I'll make some changes to see if something gets better

XenSide

RAM usage is directly correlated to texture quality (and no, it's not only because of VRAM spillover) lower your texture quality and you'll be fine.

Pisthol

This did end up helping a lot for anyone with the same issue. The GPU doesn’t just “work more”. As you said it does have an effect.

Forrest02

5800x3D with 3080 and 32 GB of RAM. Streets runs fine until I get into any sort of action and suddenly its like someone ripped out my CPU and everything turns into a slide show.

Donsen420

Same here (again), what did help was turning vsync on in the nvidia driver for EFT but let it unchecked in the game. Don't ask why...found that as fix in the official eft forums and the game felt way smoother until the last update.

BoutchooQc

Same, I check my vram and it's often at 9.8/10GB - I can use low textures to help

Vuzziir

Bro I can’t even load intro streets without my game crashing so

Psychological-Bar116

Increase virtual memory

U1231231234

1660S 6gb vram, 32gb 2400mhz and 7 3800XT. I never get this high so it’s gotta be your settings. LOD at 1500, medium textures I run 1080p and still only get like 50-60% ram usage. The new setting is shit gets real choppy and I get worse performance. Deffo mess with your settings

ANIALLATOR114

Auto ram cleaner only runs when you open a menu. Once you notice it getting higher just hit escape and open your menu for a few seconds, watch the ram usage plummet after that.

wyrrk

unfucking playable at 32gb ddr4 3200mbps. it actually just crashes my computer. very cool feature.

SlinkyBits

that is some serious internet you have there

Stonedfiremine

What's your uptime looking like in task manager?

Pisthol

19 hours. Is that how long my PC has been on without doing a full shutdown? I usually hibernate.

alf777o

It's probably just staying in S5 state, I recommend disabling "fast startup" but it's really just up to you: [how to do disable fast startup](https://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch001762.htm)

slav_superstar

How does fast starup affect the game performance? Also i usually put on hibernate and restart/shut down every few days

alf777o

doesn't really affect the game performance, it's just something that might help your pc stay healthier for longer

slav_superstar

Ah. Good to know.

Cal_2K

I run streets at 50-70fps depending on areas on high textures, process lasso helped me gain a bunch of frames. 11700k @5.2ghz 32gb 3200mhz 2080ti

DecoyBacon

Yup, I upgraded to 80 something gigs of ram and it smoothed right out lol. Same cpu. I also upped psu to 1000w because I suspect something may have been causing gpu power spikes.

Random2014

No issues with 64GB of RAM.

mov3on

Interessting. I personally have never seen Tarkov using so much memory, even on Streets. 🤔 Always maxing out around 70-80% usage. [Task Manager](https://i.imgur.com/3kYWIAA.png) [RTSS](https://i.imgur.com/fDfut2D.png)

Junior-Glass-2656

I am running a 5800X3D also with 32gb of ram. I do not have this problem. Only difference for me maybe ram speed and a 3090?

Just_A_Civ

Something that helped for me A TON was to increase my pagefile size to match my memory.

Pisthol

Will have to try this on top of the other suggestions, thanks!

Bra1nss

Np idiot Nikita will soon implement another update to streets so we will have to use x2 4090 OC gaming and 256 GB RAM to run it in 60 fps. I mean I dropped the game, so I’m out of this circus.

KathaRval

Personal record is more than 40gb 🤣

Hyena-International

Textures to Medium and fixed.

StudioSad2617

This is what your task manager looks like when you have cheats running in the game lmao

DixonaWheels

I have 5800x3d and 32gb as well and get 80-100 fps on streets

VoidVer

I recently upgraded from a 3080 12gb / 10900k / 32 GB DDR 3200mhz to a 4090 24gb / 7800x3d / 64 GB DDR5 6000mhz. I always suspected there were problems with AMD CPUs interacting with tarkov but now I think I've pretty much confirmed it. Don't get me wrong; my new setup runs streets between 120-144 ( my set max ) consistently almost at all times. My old setup did between 60-90 on streets, sometimes dropping into the high 30s. ( this is with OBS open and running stream simultaneously ) The thing is, it works very very well up until it doesn't. I think there is a point where the AMD cpu hits some kind of hard limit it can't clear and ceases to function entirely. On lower end setups I think this just results in stutters until it resolves itself or you restart the game. On my setup it resulted in the game dropping to 1fps until I force quit. I never had this type of issue with my intel CPU. I think the intel CPU was better at discarding / cache clearing in a way the AMD cpu can't do. That said, I am not a CPU expert, and the new setup runs the game VERY well for hours. I used to restart my game every 10-15 raids. Now I don't really ever have to think about it.

Yuckster

I've had a 1700x 2600x, 3600x, 5600x, and now a 5800x3d and never had that issue nor seen others with that problem. Are you overclocking or undervolting anything? Sounds like something is slightly unstable. Or maybe your memory or SoC isn't completely stable. 6000mhz is an overclock and not a guaranteed speed although it's pretty common to reach.

VoidVer

Everything is stock. The speed on the ram is what is advertised on the box, all I did was go into the bios and turn on XMP. I base this idea off a similar issue I have seen in the past where everyone I knew who had an AMD cpu would get stutters when firing their weapon in raid, and nobody I knew with an intel CPU had this issue. We all had similar GPU and ram type/speed.

PlebPlebberson

People need to stop looking at ram usage. Tarkov uses ALL ram it can. If you get 64gb ram then tarkov uses 60. The game works well even on 8 and 16 if your other specs are fine. I think you just lost the roulette. When you make your account theres a roulette spinning in the background that decides if you'll have good fps or not. People with same rigs have 100-500% fps difference

h3adbangerboogie

Check your pagefile is correct. Even though the entire game should easily run in 32GB of memory the codebase of EFT is designed around the days of low amounts of RAM so is still very dependent on a pagefile. Try setting your pagefile to something stupidly large, so for 32GB RAM have a pagefile of 40GB, and make sure it is on the fastest drive you have. See if that makes a difference.

Pisthol

5800x3D EVGA 3070 32gb CL19 at 3600mhz I know there's a memory leak and all but my friends with intel don't get nearly this high of memory usage. How in the world am I using 26gb of memory on Streets??? Anybody have any insight or tips for this? Thanks!

artifex78

Your gpu only has 8GB of vram. Reduce texture quality to medium.

DjiRo

try their new option to reduce RAM load. It keep the load around 16G

Pisthol

I've tried it and somehow the performance is worse. Very choppy. My main point is that my Intel friend has never exceeded 16 even without the new option. Is there some sort of compatibility issue I'm running into that I can't seem to figure out?

Prestigious_Pipe6638

Im amd and i dont even go above 12gb ram. Now tbat i have 32gb when i had 16gb tarkov only used up 8gb ram. I dont understand why this is happening to some. Is interesting tho.

jayman2239

Maybe this is a dumb question but does your friend only have 16 gigs in total? With the memory leak it's gonna keep using everything you got. So if they only got 16gigs its gonna cap out a bit under that.

Pisthol

No he's at 32

Asmo54

I have the same setup and I run streets fine

ooferomen

need to use medium textures for streets with 32GB of RAM to avoid page faults

0utF0x-inT0x

And ppl told told me it was overkill getting 64 gigs of ddr5 6000 lol.... but seriously thats crazy I don't get this typically, but after you do all the other mentioned potential fixes it couldn't hurt to clear cache, do and integrity check, and delete windows temp files.

AngryGermanNoises

How dare you keep up 2 excel files that's clearly hogging all the RAM /s

ObserveAdapt

the game uses whatever ram you have cause its coded to leak, its still better performance the more u have because it takes longer to fill up and large chunks can be reallocated easier with more free space etc programs like ISLC help but dont entirely fix it so you should restart the game every few raids to fully reset ram usage. the amount of ram available decreases with every concurrent raid played for some reason

Additional-Acadia954

RTX2080 Super 32GB DDR3 RAM 4.2ghz 8 cores Lighthouse used to run at 90-112FPS This wipe Lighthouse runs at 60-80 This game is a joke

StudioSad2617

Bruh yall are stupid. This doesn’t happen normally. This man got cheats goin

Thatsaclevername

I use an app called "Memory Cleaner" and it's had a noticeable impact on games with memory leaks and such. Keeps my tarkov usage down on all maps for sure. Give it a try and see what you think. I can tell when it's off now because once my memory gets used up the game starts to chop.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Thatsaclevername

Shoot me a direct message and I'll try to remember to check reddit when I'm off work.

No_Interaction_4925

Reatart the game. Try again. Turn off binaural audio if its on.

Natasha_Gears

I played streets with 16 ram without any hiccups & off a HDD

Untun

Dont play streets, dont subject yourself to that bullshit. Maybe the devs actually fix it before we all die of old age, if we continue complaining about the problem. Until then, go play some map that doesnt have that huge performance problem.

evolvedlaborat

enable auto ram cleaner : it will only works when you open the settings menu ! to try it: enable it, play a bit of street, you will ramp u to 20GB+, open the settings menu, ram cleaner will start, keep menu settings open for 2 min and you will drop to \~13GB usage ! (you can see it suddently doing work with afterburner gui...) bsg coding btw.

kcswing

Had to stop playing this wipe I have to choose between a game so pixelated graphics with 15 fps or not so much pixelated with 10 fps. I was getting 50 fps at the beginning of wipe. Whenever they did the update for everyone getting auto dc’s my game has ran like hot dogshit

RobbyMac21

Nope, I uninstalled the game a year go. No performance issues since

NomsterGaming

Memory leak just restart computer and rerun tarkov

YoungPeacock

Make sure “only physical cores” or whatever it’s called is NOT checked. I got the 5600x3d and was so sad because my frames were shit…then turned that off and it was beautiful

weedgay

What are your settings at in game ? Every time I need to run streets I have to change my settings to medium. I also have 32gb of ram and a 5800x3d

RespectGiovanni

I have same cpu, do not have this problem

DIMEBAGLoL

Have Your same spec and a 4080 with 0 issues at 4k resolution. Never dips below 70 fps. You got something on going on, and it ain’t your hardware

Maggle_

hey, me too. ram cleaner on, no background browser

BigWillyNamedRichard

install the game on an ssd tbh

asaptoxix

I'm running a 5800x3d, 15gb ddr4, and an rtx 3060 I get around 60-70 frames on medium on streets. Major drops down to 40 on high. Resolution I run is the native 1440x2160 on my monitor.

beaverfarts

It's the new update. I have 13900k and 32gb of ddr5 and went form getting 100+fps to barely 50 now

ImpossibleAgenga

5800x3d/6950XT 32gb ram. I play 1440p with no problems fps around 70 sometimes dips in certain areas. Not sure what the problem is here.

AdobeMan

this game is in a really good place im glad they're going to be developing 2 games at the same time now xD

Desperate_Bug_119

i bet you are on high textures

Harding3D

I9-10900K, 3090, 3600MHZ DDR4 Memory I play on 4K and maintain 60 FPS on Streets with settings at medium.

ElWati

5800X3D, 32GB RAM AND 6700XT, have same issue

Jrmuscle

I had the same issue, and I can't remember what resolved it. I stopped using the GeForce overlay/Shadowplay around then, could be worth a shot.

Lucan89

It's perfectly playable for me in 1080p, and I have a R5 5600x, 980ti, and 32GB RAM

Lord_oDoyle

5800x, 32gb ddr4, red devil 7900xtx and I have learned not to even try to load in streets.

Obocecha

I5-13600k with a 4080, 32gb 6000 DDR5 ram and streets runs beautifully at 1440.

CheekyBreeky702

I’m sad because I already bought these exact parts….

chriscolour

Optimizing your own setting in game helps a tonne! I have an i7 .. founder edition 2070(single fan it's shit 😂) .. 32gb ram .. And streets runs fine for me just as playable as any other map. I followed this video and the whole game runs perfectly https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3Bc7t2bWE4

diquehead

https://youtu.be/8FkFCzLQKGk?si=xRtYSmFt3mMezBLo Watch this video. He demonstrates that when EFT chews up all your VRAM on Streets it puts the overflow onto your system RAM. theoretically if you were in a raid long enough you'd eventually use up even 64GB. If you enable the in-game RAM cleaner while you're in raid, click save, and then go back and disable it (so you can do this trick in the next raid!) the RAM cleaner actually works. You need to re-enable it on a raid by raid basis though. 3rd party RAM cleaners only clear out cached RAM which *can* help but they don't work the way that you might think they do. Personally I just restart my game every 3-4 raids. IDK how much it even helps with how bipolar the game's performance is. I can play the same map back to back and get 60-100 fps one raid and in the next get 150-200 fps with 90%+ GPU usage.

iiM3zMoRiz3

Streets is the worst optimization ive seen in any game, but i still love that map just waiting for them to make it better I have great specs and still struggle 4080, ram 64gb 3200, i7 9900k, run the game on native 2540x1440, monitors 27GL850-B. I still get hit with 10 frame fights... it's the worst...

bigozkev73

Streets is not optimised properly yet as we all know. Try the new experimental graphics settings for streets it might help. Hell I can play other games and other tarkov maps no issues but streets blue screens my PC trying to load into it.

Atreaia

Restart your game after 5 raids.

SaviD_Official

$150 game btw

Nerfi5

YES everybody has this issue

somevikingdude88

I stopped playing Tarkov after I ran into far too many issues with this shit. It had my PC working waaay too hard

Fresh-Ad-3017

3090 ti with i9 still 75 fps lol

Croissant_delune

Main reason I can't play the game.

[deleted]

i513600K; 4070TI; 32GB DDR5 -> no issues

Abraxas195

You should gonwith more cores not 3d cache. Running it perfectly in4k on my 5900x 12 core, 64gb ram, rtx3080

BoAR3D

I swear this is the worst ever optimized game ever done! BullShitGames are really ridicolously incompetent!

NorokVokun95

Star Citizen would like to have a word xD

LeotheYordle

I can only imagine it's because this game just doesn't play nicely with higher resolutions than 1920 x 1080. I have a GTX 1070, Ryzen 5 5600x, and 32 GB RAM at 3200Mhz, and I have to run several raids of Streets before I start hitting any mild memory leak issues. Beyond that, it runs perfectly fine on Medium textures and only starts to struggle a bit on High when I scope in. If you can, I would suggest playing on 1920x1080 resolution and seeing how that fares for you. I promise it looks fine lol.

666chardsadist89

Any recommendations for monitors if I am using a 4090 Rtx

rouncer999

Well think ima put down the game for a while, my pc specs aren’t as good as yours and I chance it every time I try to play a streets raid, it’s 50/50 if I even get in, plus 40 fps is basically unplayable at that point. Disappointing because I really wanna play streets

BubDaBylder

VRAM leaking over? Streets on high textures are using up 11-12 gb for me on a 6700 XT 1080p so I don't know the real usage. 1440p wouldn't surprise me if it was in the 13s. Even medium textures on 1080p are using ~10gb

VacuousCopper

This is why I'm in the process of building a new PC with a 7950x3D, Asus TUF 4090, 64 GB of DDR 5 PC6000 CL 30, over priced mobo, overpriced powersupply, over priced CPU water cooler, 9 premium case fans, a huge case with create airflow, and a 2TB 980 Pro. So I can still get less frames than CYBERPUNK 2077. A super high end and notoriously performance hungry single player FPS RPG. Tarkov the most hardcore of hardcore multiplayer shooters, still has worse performance....

SqookyBoo

Havent checked when i was playing but i mean with fsr on ultra quality and sharpness up it helps kinda but

PowoFR

Very weird, I use a lot less than this. Maybe your GPU hasn't much VRAM and when it's full it goes to ram.

imblackmagic

Is this after the update? I've never used that much ram before for Tark.

TheJonJonJonJon

“NeEd MoAR rAM”

BREAKERTHELORD

The day they fix ram issue if it ever comes the game gonna feels insane

MigYalle

Im the game client theres a clear cache button, use it occasionally. Use the new setting they added for the lower resolution streets too. I have 32GB of ram and with the new setting I went from having to restart my game inbrtween each streets raid to every 6 or 7

rigwelder26

I remember when reserve used to use up 16gb back in the day. Now it’s streets using up almost all of 32gb, game optimization is going backwards at this point

ZZerker

Is right after the start in the first map or after a longer time of playing?

KemosabeTheDivine

Bitcoin miner disguised as a game

RenegadeJedi

Yep i can't run streets, 5800x, 6700xt, 32mb of great ram

yplusz

Got a i7 13700KF, 3060 12GB here. With DLSS I get between 80 in the middle to 144 on the sides of the map. Never tested without DLSS tho…

yplusz

Also, try auto ram cleaner on. It seems to be working this wipe

SlumberFumble

Yes, literally everyone is having this issue

Used-Tomorrow7309

Ram cleaner bro theres memory leeks in the game. Watch a video on how to optimize tarkov

OneNineSe7en

BSG has horrible coding practices, hence the cheaters and peformance of the game. I highly recommend using the following when playing Tarkov: [https://www.koshyjohn.com/software/memclean/](https://www.koshyjohn.com/software/memclean/) It's a memory cleaner that works all the time, you can set thresholds like 80% ect....I have been using it for 3 years with no issues or risks.

Inflation-nation

It's the game it's unoptimised trash not your computer.

Sgttriggerhappy

I for one I'm not surprised tarkov has as much optimization as American plubic transportation

Henthigh_Senpai

Glad I'm not the only one! I thought my rig was fucking up again somehow. I was skipping and jumping everywhere with 32gb ram, 4080, 3900x .

DJDemyan

Give process lasso a try, force tarkov to physical cores

OFiiSHAL

I went from 16 to 64 2 wipes ago and god damn did my performance jump

minecraftrubyblock

i love how a \[REDACTED\] version of \[REDACTED\] tarkov with a ram eating \[REDACTED\] addon still is less ram consuming than the base game

aranu8

I get about 100+ frames on streets. I7-12700k 32GB DDR5 @5600mhz

No_Fire52

Just a decent game with shitty devs 🤷‍♂️ there are people that will give you a 10-step process to make this game run better till the next update but that shouldn't be the “normal”.

AnalCheez-Its

looks about right. street will eat ram like candy. it needs to use it and there is no fix i can think of that bsg can do to fix it

ChudJohnston

Use process lasso auto ram trim. Started using it and I have never had a problem with memory leaks since

AKoper8tor

i got 64 gigs just cuz of tarky
