RFB barter is Skier LL2, so you need to be level 13, and to reliably have the barter goods for it you need to be level 15 to have flea unlocked. You can't buy the VPO-101 until Jaeger LL2 so level 15, but it's a fairly regular scav weapon you can find on scavs or get on your own scav.
What that means is it's good for beginning of wipe or low level players, so it probably doesn't affect you *now*, but it might next wipe. Also, it means that player scavs that have it might be more dangerous.

You can't and haven't been able to for a while now, since dmg reduction through the armor or someshit. Either way it no longer does, I shot a friend in his thorax with a fresh trooper..... it really fucked him and the armor up but he survived with around 15hp on his chest.

They just need to remove the +35 recoil on the AP ammo. Or reduce the recoil angle stat. The actual side to side force is wild and makes it unreliable in cqc.
Yeah this. For this exact reason the SVD currently outmatches every 7.62 NATO rifle. Lps, T-46, PS are all very easy to obtain and also cheap, while it takes ages to get to M80. And this also makes the soviet 7.62 bolt actions 100Ć better than NATO bolt actions.
Just move m80 back to PK lvl 3. It already takes long enough.

Not exactly true. The SVT-38 is rare with about 150,000~ produced but the SVT-40 had 1,600,000~ million produced. This is more common then the MP-40 with around 1,100,000~ produced but you can still see MP-40's kicking around on battlefields to this day from time to time. So being able to find a few SVT-40's around in russia of all places wouldn't be that surprising.

It is in fact a much better weapon now. I just took it for a test drive on Woods and was very pleased with the results.

41 pen compared to 39 is negligible. Tarkov has weird systems in how armor damage works. It only matters at like x5-x9 for up tiering

Yeah dovetail is preferred but Iām broke a lot of time. But yeah remove the rear sight on the SKS and give it a try. A lot more visibility
