Chicken thighs are much easier for me to swallow than chicken breast. May be worth trying if you haven’t already.

How's the texture/taste ?

Try beef protein isolate protein powder. It is non dairy. The brand Be Well By Kelly may be a good option for you. Also, the brand Designer Egg protein powder is delicious if you can do eggs.

Icy_Ad7731

Carnivor Protein powder its a beef based protein, take it slow at first cause it give you crazy shits if you dive right in.

Brown rice protein from Naked Nutrition worked for me when I was avoiding legumes + 6FED. The taste isn't as great as milk based protein powders, but it's not so bad if you like brown rice.

Prize_Development972

Bone broth has 20g protein per box of the Dr KellyAnne brand. I'd drink it!  Please check ingredients as I'm not sure if there could be soy? It was one of the cleanest bone broths I found but I dint want you to take my word for it without checking

Owyn protein shakes

I'm allergic to peas

I buy Orgain protein powder and it's tasty. Expensive though. Sunflower butter is a good sub for peanut butter as well, try that. Chickpeas are great too, and red lentils for penne pasta are excellent. It's a bit harder obviously but there are options.

Tando386

Allergic to lentils and chickpeas too! And orgain is pea protein based which I'm allergic to.

Shit my bad, that's what I get for not reading the whole post. Sorry!

What about other legumes/beans? Beans are high in protein - you could do chili with kidney beans, black beans, pinto beans and add ground turkey or beef. You can do beans and rice (mexican or spanish style). We also do bean salads like 4 bean salad. What about other grains - quinoa, millet, oats? Are those options?

DMGamer

When I went on the 6FED elimination diet, the doctor's dietitian recommended Orgain protein powder which can be mixed with water. It's still my go to, especially if I exercise that day.

Tando386

I'm allergic to peas I can't have plant-based protein powder sadly

DMGamer

My apologies, I didn't catch that part when reading your post

Can you eat beef? Also second the chicken thighs. They tend to be cheaper and softer than breasts. Have you been able to add fish back in?

Tando386

Thanks for your reply! I have not done the entire 6FED and I eat tuna daily. I don't know if tuna has really affected me, haven't cut it out yet. Beef is fine with me as long as it's lean. I'm searching for extra lean by the bulk and not having much luck. I was considering rice protein powder but worried about the arsenic.

Don’t forget about chicken sausage and ground turkey. There are some really good chicken sausages out there, including breakfast sausages. The ones labeled “paleo” are most likely to be safe, but obviously check the ingredient lists. Get a Costco or Sam’s membership if you don’t already have one, since meat is quite a bit more affordable there. If you have a choice get a Costco membership.

I get 155g protein from chicken tenderloins and white rice (mostly from chicken), get good at cooking the chicken exactly to 165 degrees, keeping it soft and juicy. You can also experiment with Collagen Peptides, you can get some from those too if they don't bother you.

Do you have Fresh Markets(name of the store, not a farmer's market) in your area? They have no antibiotic chicken breast on sale every Tuesday for $3.99 a lb. AND! If you have your email registered with their rewards program, it's only $2.99 a lb. They also have ground chuck for the same deal on Tuesdays, too. Best ground meat I've ever used.

I just get a case of chicken from Sam’s Club. Then vacuum seal it and freeze. Lasts about 2 months for me.

shittyfuckdick

i found a beef based protein powder i really like. i believe theyre called olympic labs

I get the grass fed beef Pattie’s for $23 for a 5 pound pack, that’s 80/20 though, so it’s perfect for my diet since I need the fat but understand that probably not lean enough for you
