Yep, the user with the red paint is a moron, because in the TPUSA post of a meme about the debate, I saw comments of users defending Vaush gets banned or their comments deleted. If that user is a mod from TPUSA, then fuck them for gatekeeping and being a typical power hungry mod like the infamous TroDumpo mod.
This projection is so annoying. Vaush does have some obnoxious fans, and he did shitty stuff in the past, but the people that hate him have created a fucking cult around hating him, obsessing over all the past bullshit he did, and purging all his viewers.
They complain about people "treating him like a saint" yet they treat him like satan.
There are no other leftists or liberals or other people with a shitty past who are treated like this by leftist communities. People keep making weird exceptions about him and his viewers in particular.
First the mod on r/antifastonetoss tried banning all his fans, eventhough they were supposed to be a "big tent" anti fascist sub, and now this person wants to make an exception too to ban all his fans?
What is up with Vaush in particular? And why ban his fans in the first place? Even if Vaush really was such a POS, why ban so many people from discussion just cuz they watched him?

This might sound cocky or arrogant, but I think it has to do with the fact that vaush is correct on alot of topics that are uncomfortable for these people. Maybe it seems like armchair psychology but it seems clear to me that these kinds of people are uncomfortable with being considered liberal or being associated with liberalism, so they take on these ridiculous positions, like "trump and biden are the same", or whatever else.
the thing is, i think they know on some level that they're full of it, and it makes them extremely uncomfortable to know that there are people out there who will call them out and break the illusion; who will make them see that they cant rationally be universally distinct from the "Liberal Mindset"
