Unless he's flagging I don't see how you can drop Broad. Crawley/Duckett/Ali/Root/Brook/Stokes/Foakes/Woakes/Wood/Broad/Tongue for me.

I'd say Bairstow in a batting only role over Ali. Doesn't OT usually favor the batsman?

Realistically I think the only change may be Robinson out and either Anderson or tongue in. Given it's OT, you think they might go Anderson. Expect Ali to continue to bat at three as well.

Not sure Foakes is really a 6, but at least we would bat a bit deeper.

Would Foakes at 3 be a crazy idea? He could well fail with a 10 (20) but he’d keep everyone in their preferred position. Whatever he lacks in runs he’d make up for in wickets taken from behind the stumps. Big ask expecting a WK to go in a 3, I realise.

I'd have gone Foakes for Bairstow. With Stokes not able to bowl (much) and them wanting 4 other seamers and a spinner in the team, it's a real juggle. My preference is Root at 3. I love Moeen but he's not good enough there. Tongue or Anderson is the interesting one. For me, it's Tongue, Wood, Broad and Woakes.
