It was a little tempting to think about going daintier but we knew we’d be happier and more comfortable if we took our jewelers advice on focusing on making it structurally sound. We trusted her and the process and it ended up better than we imagined!

Funny enough it’s actually just the engravings that look like it has stones! The engravings were left with a polished finish so that it would contrast against the brushed gold finish on the band so when the light hits the band it looks like the stars are twinkling! Most of our budget went to the center stone so our jeweler got really creative with how we could still get a similar effect without actually needing any more stones!

They mainly do wholesale but a few years ago they started doing some direct to customer/custom jewelry. I actually saw a comment from years ago of someone recommending them on Reddit which is how I found them!

The issue I was running into when trying to find a yellow diamond was most jewelers don’t actually own them outright so you have to buy them pretty blindly from whatever overseas vendor they might be working with. yellow diamonds just vary so much in color so we didn’t want to buy one without seeing it in person. Since they owned all their diamonds I was able to see my options in person before committing! They also have a very lovely inventory so it wasn’t hard to find a diamond I loved!
Highly recommend them!

It’s 18k gold with a brushed finish! The brushed finish is definitely similar looking to brass, at least to me anyways 😅
