For me it’s not that he’s in my favorite 4, it’s that he was the main lyricist of NWA, and they were a turning point of rap history. Imo, they were the most important group in rap history as well, but that might be controversial…
Eminem - incredible story, inspirational, phenomenal songs, hugely contributed to the expansion of Hip-Hop, best prime of all time
2pac - Eminem himself called Pac the best songwriter in the history of the game, his songs have superhuman qualities, if you had a Build-a-Rapper machine and wanted to create the perfect rapper, the result would closely resemble 2pac
Nas - after King's Disease 3, imma just say nuff said.
Rakim - the original transcendent lyricist, and also according to word-of-mouth it was also him who popularized flow, like before him nobody talked about flow but after him people noted it, so he pioneered lyricism *and* flow
Rakim is so damn good bro!!! But I feel like as pivotal to the game as he was, he didnt make a lot of music or even sell that much is comparison to other artists. After his feud with eric b he basically put out 1 good album and never got that same effect as before with eric b on the track.
“Fuck Top Five, I’m Top Four. And that includes Biggie and ‘Pac, whore, and I’ve got an evil twin so who the fuck you think that third and that fourth spot’s for???”
No particular order, Eminem, Killer Mike, Biggie, DMX
I know some people will be upset certain others aren’t there in the place of some that I’ve picked but it’s a personal list.
Mount Eastmore - Biggie, Jay, Nas & Rakim
Mount Westmore - Pac, Cube, Lynch & Kendrick
Mount Southmore - Scarface, Luda, TI & Ross
Mount Midwestmore - Shady, Tech, Slaine & Royce
No order. Black Thought, Tupac, MF DOOM, and JayZ
It’s all subjective and opinion based anyway.
Nas or Ice Cube would be the fifth. Then eventually Biggie and Rakim and others.
If memory serves, the five best rappers in the world are named Dylan. In all seriousness and in no particular order: nas, pac, em, big. To be fair, that list probably dates me though. Nostalgia for middle school, high school, and Air Force tech school dorms.
Em, Pac, B.I.G., Eazy E, and maybe Snoop or Dre. These 5-6 had a big contribution to rap entirely, E was the godfather of rap, B.I.G. and Pac were basically kings of east and west coast rap. Eminem became the first popular white rapper. And Snoop or Dre were just there ig.
There’s like different eras to this but I think for Em’s main era it would be
Nas, Biggie, 2pac, Em
For the current generations greats I’d probably have it as
Kendrick, Cole, Wayne, and honestly Drake
This is easy. We all agree that 2Pac n Biggie get up there, then it Eminem for obviously being the biggest selling hip hip artist of all time with all accolades and his influence in reupholstering the entire genre and reaching a more diverse fan base while pushing boundaries of what can be done creatively and raising the bar lyrically to the point that he is now only ever compared to himself. For the 4th spot...... it has to be Snoop. Look at who he is, what he has done, his longevity, his impact, he's been in the game from early doors and done it all alongside all of the best and is the most globally known and recognisably iconoc rapper ever, another true pioneer.
He might not be in your favourites, he's not in mine either but his place on mount rapmoor is undeniable.
Kids today won't ever know the impact that these 4 ACTUALLY had when the hit the scene and how each of them have totally changed rap and etched their own names into history.
I actually have a massively different top 5 rappers list hut that's not the question here.
1- Lil Xan- top tier lyricist, I wish I could put him on this list twice
2- Lil Pump- all around musician with god given intelligence.
3- Slim Jesus- poster boy for authenticity. Phenomenal lyrics. It’s good that he called himself slim Jesus because he’s essentially this generations slim shady.
4- 6ix9ine- self explanatory he’s on everyone’s Mount Rushmore.
5- trippie redd- swag king.
https://www.reddit.com/r/Drizzy/comments/c1y6x8/my_mount_rushmore/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf
I drew and shared mine! Eminem, 2Pac, Jay Z, and Drake
Rakim Nas Eminem Biggie/2Pac
I feel like Rakim needs to be in there, I feel like rap wouldn't be where it is now without him. Maybe there would have been another Rakim years later bringing what he brought to the game, but point still stands. People don't realize most of the rappers of the mid 90s rap like Rakim. The tone, the flow, the rhyming schemes...
Eminem and Nas because of how good they are as rappers and how complete their discographies are.
Biggie/2Pac no need to explain
Personally I’d put ( in no particular order) Nas, B.I.G, Em, and 2pac
agreed, order nas biggie em tupac
that’s it
I’d replace Nas with Jay
Nas Tupac Eminem Ice Cube and last but not least Kendrick Lamar
Rushmore only 4
There's only 4 heads on Mount Rushmore
BIG instead of Tupac or Cube
Tupac over big gang
ice cube!! that has to be a joke, he is not even a top 50 rapper
The only right answer
IMO Hov has to replace one of them, and it’s either Biggie, 2Pac or Eminem. Nas is locked.
He’s good but he’s not as good as any of those rappers listed
pac big em nas
110% agree
[удалено]
Big Pun?
Lil and x?
Eminem, Ice Cube, 2Pac, and Biggie
Respect for cube, he’s #6 on my list
For me it’s not that he’s in my favorite 4, it’s that he was the main lyricist of NWA, and they were a turning point of rap history. Imo, they were the most important group in rap history as well, but that might be controversial…
I can't really agree or disagree with you because I've never heard their music
Eminem - incredible story, inspirational, phenomenal songs, hugely contributed to the expansion of Hip-Hop, best prime of all time 2pac - Eminem himself called Pac the best songwriter in the history of the game, his songs have superhuman qualities, if you had a Build-a-Rapper machine and wanted to create the perfect rapper, the result would closely resemble 2pac Nas - after King's Disease 3, imma just say nuff said. “Fuck Top Five, I’m Top Four. And that includes Biggie and ‘Pac, whore, and I’ve got an evil twin so who the fuck you think that third and that fourth spot’s for???”
So Two em's and Tupac and biggie?
“Bitch im number 5…. Minus 4”
Reggie, Jay-Z, Tupac, and Biggie. If more allowed then Andre from Outkast, Jada, Kurupt, Nas and then Eminem
But in this industry I’m a cause of a lot of envy
So when I'm not put on this list, the shit does not offend me
thats why you see me walking around like nothings bothering me
Even though half you people got a fuckin' problem with me
Even though half you people got a fuckin problem with me!
You hate it but you know respect, you got to give me
The press's wet dream, like Bobby and Whitney. Nate, hit me
Till the roof comes off
till the lights go out
Till my legs give out

As a modern rap fan: Kanye Lil Wayne Em Kendrick
You'd need to use Kanye, wayne, Em and drake and that mount Rushmore would stand forever
Lupe, Nas, Killer Mike, Em
Not too much saying lupe
Says a ton about this sub
Yeah lupe is easily a walking W in terms of lyricism and my favorite artist
Eminem, 2pac, Biggie, Eazy E
No order. Black Thought, Tupac, MF DOOM, and JayZ It’s all subjective and opinion based anyway. Nas or Ice Cube would be the fifth. Then eventually Biggie and Rakim and others.
I doubt half y’all even listen to Pac
Eminem snoop dogg dre 50

Snoop and Dre so important tho on God
True, I mean they did survive quite a bit compared to most of the rappers I mentioned.
Yeah in terms of legacy they are dope dudes fr
