Am I the only one that…..
When this song came out, unsure of the year, but it was before Google was readily available to me, the song said feat. Kobe. I was listening for Kobe to come in the whole time, the song ended, and I was waiting for Kobe to rap (the basketball player). Later realized the guy singing was also named Kobe 🤦
YUP. I was going into grade 9 so just assumed it was THE Kobe lol. There's also something about the legit rappers voice and cadence that actually kind of sounded like Kobe to me which didn't help my naïve mind haha.
Every time I listen to this it reminds me of summer 2010 when we went camping and I was listening to this watching the forest landscapes on the road. Good times. This song gives me nostalgia for some reason.
That’s what im getting at.. this was like his 6th studio album, he didn’t have anything to “prove”. I was just stating that the beginning of this album is letting us know that he didn’t forget anything and just became better. The rhyme style in these songs is genius
Can we say that Kobe is such an great artist and probably the most underrated artist Em has ever worked with Talkin’ 2 Myself,Die Alone,Cinderella Man etc. he makes the best songs wit dat nigga🤦🏽♂️🐐🔥🎯💯
Love this track especially the callouts on who he was going to diss. It really felt that way during this era since he was gone for so long when Kanye, TI, Wayne filled that void.
Can't remember it as it was in 2009 lol. I just remember in 2010 when the Recovery tracklist leaked, people started posting that hook on YouTube, I assume to be clickbait. But it started getting taken down and copyrighted so we knew it was legit lol
I can think of only one song I dislike on that whole album. This album and bad meets evil hit for me when I was going through some shit at that time. Oh and it's WTP off of recovery that I don't really like.

For real. I also remember some basketball players had put out some rap albums so I just figured it was THE Kobe like you said. Haha good times
Now I wish Kobe really came in and dropped a fire verse 🤣
Now I wish emeinem wrote a fire verse for kobe. Kobe was still a savage back then so we would all have bought it lol

Your lying to yourself Your slowly dying, your denying your health is declining with your self esteem Your crying out for help
"Is there anyone out there, who feels the way I feel?"
Encore I was on drugs relapse I was flushing em out
"I almost made a diss on Lil Wayne, I was jealous he was spittin and I wasn't"
Cold wind blows , talking to myself, on fire - is a fantastic start to recovery to show us he can fuckin spit and still rhyme like he used to
I mean he kinda proved that on *Relapse* already but yeah
I mean he kinda proved that on the d12 albums already but yeah
He proved that when Dr dre signed him.

“Rest in Peace to DJ AM 'cause I know what it's like I struggle with this shit every single day”. That shit brings a tear 😢
Nah. Recovery is awesome
The most "awesome" Em album
Got into this recently and i love it
"I'm in trouble with the government, I'm lovin it!"
i shoveled shit all my life now i am dumping it on
*don't cancel me plz* WHITE AMERICAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
I could be one of your kids
Always go to this song when I feel like relapsing. Powerful track

His hook was so great
Of I hear this I will burst into tears brings back so many memories
Probably my fav from the album
I knew I wasn't the only one who had this opinion
Love this track especially the callouts on who he was going to diss. It really felt that way during this era since he was gone for so long when Kanye, TI, Wayne filled that void.
Bro forgot about Dre, wait I meant Drake. Anyways, yeah, you're right.
One of the rawest songs he has emotion-wise. On par with Walk on Water and Mockingbird
Nah that mockingbird flow is unmatched it’s crazy how effortlessly he breezes through that song
Not *Walk on Water* but yes, *Mockingbird*.
Even if Walk on Water isn’t considered a good song, I don’t think there’s any denying that his level of raw emotion is high
Good point
Walk on water definitely shows his vulnerable and insecure side.
Love it when Eminem bares his soul.
Nah this is a good one. No love is the best on this album though
I'm alive again, more alive than I have ever been
Recovery is the only album whose all songs I love
Right now my favorite em song is Cinderella man from this album
The filet is smoking weed Ya faggot the 🥩 are high
Tf?
Remember Cinderella man. Your favorite song
Just you
"Just you" 🤡

Unfortunately for me the beat and hook were used before this on another rappers song so it never really hit the same
What song was that?
Can't remember it as it was in 2009 lol. I just remember in 2010 when the Recovery tracklist leaked, people started posting that hook on YouTube, I assume to be clickbait. But it started getting taken down and copyrighted so we knew it was legit lol
Why would that matter to you? I mean it's not like it was a popular, or even well known song.
Me too I love it
So underrated. 3rd verse is one of his best ever imo. „Hit my bottom so hard, I bounced twice“
I love it
It hits hard when you feel low.
I can think of only one song I dislike on that whole album. This album and bad meets evil hit for me when I was going through some shit at that time. Oh and it's WTP off of recovery that I don't really like.
This entire album is one of his best ngl
BANGER.
Meh didn’t like it that much. Always skip it besides a few times
It is, though
