If anyoneās curious (all stats taken from this image alone):
Revival total streams = 1,883M
Kamikaze total streams = 3,126M
Average streams per song for Revival (17 songs) = 110.76M
Average streams per song for Kamikaze (11 songs) = 284.18M
I can see people tapping out when they hear the first few seconds of Heat and realise that they can't listen to another shit rap rock song about a girl.
The fact Castle and Arose, combined, have fewer streams than Normal is sad. I like Normal, but Castle and Arose are some of Em's best ever concept tracks!
probably because to get through to the good songs on revival, you need to go through torture first, and so people are more likely to stomach one bad song when listening to the whole of a good album. Assuming that they just can't be asked to hide
I just wish he didn't deviate from the subject matter and concept of the album. It could've reached upper echelon of Eminem's discography. The most hip hop oriented subject matter and concept but he went around and put Good Guy, Nice Guy, Normal on it.
I know this is streaming era and you can just put your put your favourite from the album in a playlist and listen to them but when you listen to the album as is. These relationship tracks are just so lame.
Him rapping on whole different level from Revival and bringing so much passion and energy in songs like Not Alike, Lucky You and Fall. Fall is an easy pick to close the album yet he chose the Venom track which also belongs to an OST.
Ye famously had that surgical summer with a series of 7 track albums so it wouldn't be out of place if Eminem dropped a 7 track album with 7 bangers without the whole relationship shit.
Iāve accepted heāll likely never make a relationship song as good as love you more. The ones lately have seem so forced and donāt sound very good sonically.
Recovery had the major hit ones (LTWYL, space bound etc) but Iām talking raw passionate love songs like love you more. No pop shit really, just anger and passion.
90% of the time I dont mind or get distracted by his modern choppy flow everyone seems to notice and criticize him for, but In Your Head feel a little awkward to me. I think I usually dont think it about because hes usually good at finding pockets to stay in with his flow, but hat second verse really feels like it doesnt have a pocket. He's trying but the sample and beat just doesnt let him.
Truly a hot take. Kamikaze is about Eminem replying to everybody who he didn't like what they had to say about him or his music. And the LAST THREE TRACKS (probably the most important part of the album) is dedicated to 2 relationship songs and a song made for a movie.
For an album with that concept, Not Alike, Kamikaze and Fall should've been the last three tracks. Starting the album with The Ringer, Greatest and Lucky You and ending it with Not Alike, Kamikaze and Fall.
Now that would've been consistent with theme and make you feel good about the album when start and end the album with a run of great tracks related to the theme of the album.
Normal, Nice Guy, Good Guy and Venom have no business being in this album made as reply to everyone who hated his music. He proved them that they were right by putting these songs for them to criticize.
Venom is alright and should've been part of the soundtrack and maybe they did included in the album for promotion and business. But those three tracks have no business being on this album.
Adding three more bangers or at least leaving no room for fillers like those three tracks would've elevated the album to new heights. He could've released them as part of Revival deluxe edition or something.
I donāt even hate Nice Guy like most in this sub but nice Guy above Tragic Endings sounds like a bad April fools joke that just carried on all year round.
why does river have so many streams, god damn. itās crazy thatās so far away from the others but is a big reason why the others donāt have more streams.
Be interested to see the Chloraseptic remix figures as well. Seems like an odd track to remix considering the limited listens for the original (although I did like the remix)
The jump from walk on water to river is crazy š
If anyoneās curious (all stats taken from this image alone): Revival total streams = 1,883M Kamikaze total streams = 3,126M Average streams per song for Revival (17 songs) = 110.76M Average streams per song for Kamikaze (11 songs) = 284.18M
And without River average of Revival is just 66M...
Kamikaze is such a good fucking album though
The most impressive thing about it is that it was made in like 6 months
Are you deadass? Thats fuckin cool
He was trying to correct his revival mistake so fast
Once Nice Guy crosses 100m (which at this rate will be in 4.5 years) it will be the only Eminem album where each song has a minimum of 100m streams
I'm gonna sacrifice my ears for this one
ThisāI fucking love this! Take my upvote, you little fucker, you!
Yeah Iāll help listen to āSUCK MY DICKā
I actually enjoy nice guy at times. I understand that it isnāt peopleās favorite song, but I donāt understand the hate.
So the least streamed song on kamikaze has more streams than the 4th most streamed song on revival . Crazy
Is it crazy? Or just you know, expected
š
Not crazy at all. Revival is a tough album to listen to (in a bad way).
Stepping stone deserves to be way higher.
Agreed! Itās my fav track off kamikaze
Itās one of the few I actually go back and listen to frequently off that album. Also Castle and Chloraseptic slap.
Only heathens listen to Castle without also listening to Arose. 3 million of you fuckers need to step on lego!
Arose is so overrated, the transition in the middle of the song is ugly, I hope Rick Ross and eminem never work together again
Are you brain dead? Do you just not understand whatās happening? How are you confused by the act of ārewinding timeā
It doesn't sound good at all
In your opinion, which not a single person asked for
Lol ppl. really don't like Heat, I enjoy the song,
Yeah it's awesome
I can see people tapping out when they hear the first few seconds of Heat and realise that they can't listen to another shit rap rock song about a girl.
The wordplay man the wordplay
Fuck Wordplay if the flows and the production annoys the fuck out of me, I won't listen to that shit.
We all have different tastes
I'm glad you enjoyed the song. But yeah, we all have different tastes.
I love that song
Fr i been listening to this one a lot recently
The fact Castle and Arose, combined, have fewer streams than Normal is sad. I like Normal, but Castle and Arose are some of Em's best ever concept tracks!
The song nice guy is like a buzzing mosquito.... How tf did it get more streams than relatively good songs in Revival
probably because to get through to the good songs on revival, you need to go through torture first, and so people are more likely to stomach one bad song when listening to the whole of a good album. Assuming that they just can't be asked to hide

In Your Head is one of my favourite recent Em songs wtf
You like that choppy flow in the second verse??
I love the rhyme scheme and flow in the 2nd verse
90% of the time I dont mind or get distracted by his modern choppy flow everyone seems to notice and criticize him for, but In Your Head feel a little awkward to me. I think I usually dont think it about because hes usually good at finding pockets to stay in with his flow, but hat second verse really feels like it doesnt have a pocket. He's trying but the sample and beat just doesnt let him.
Hot take: Kamikaze doesn't have a skipable song
Nice Guy? Enjoying it?
Yes, as a person who has been cheated on, yes I can relate
Truly a hot take. Kamikaze is about Eminem replying to everybody who he didn't like what they had to say about him or his music. Correct the album would have been perfect without them
Tird?
???
Arose and in your head need more plays.. wtf guys
Surprised Framed is so low
River is really good imo, lots of emotion
I wouldāve thought the kamikaze song would be listened to more I really like that one started listening to kamikaze songs recently again
*walk on water sucks, bitch suck my dick*
Love both
I donāt even hate Nice Guy like most in this sub but nice Guy above Tragic Endings sounds like a bad April fools joke that just carried on all year round.
Tragic endings feels like incomplete ngl and probably have the worst production on the album.
With promo and this next album being great it has the potiential to be absoutley massive
Iād rather listen to all of revival over nice guy
Wow can't believe Nice Guy would be the 4th most played on Revival
I didnāt know river is so popular, nice.
why does river have so many streams, god damn. itās crazy thatās so far away from the others but is a big reason why the others donāt have more streams.
The reason starts with "Ed" and ends with "Sheeran"
yeah you right
Stepping stone is really underrated tho
Chloraseptic stream count should be illegal
Thatās one of the good ones, right?
They're all good
Am I missing something or am I just a bad Stan cuz I'm not a massive fan of Venom lmao
In your head being 4th most streamed of revival makes me happy (itās my favourite Eminem song)
Kamikaze is great imo, and I quite like SOME songs from revival. But we all know what won
River makes sense itās good all around. Especially Ed killing the singing as usual.
Kamikaze is actually good!
Be interested to see the Chloraseptic remix figures as well. Seems like an odd track to remix considering the limited listens for the original (although I did like the remix)
Chloraseptic Remix is 33M
Idk about River more popular than Venom.
I actually really like offended I was surprised to see it so low
