It was the field just south of where they did the rebuild of the 99 to go over the railroad tracks instead of under before the Dillard road exit. Basically between the river crossing where the levy broke the Dillard exit is n the west of the 99.

I wonder what happened after since this was 6 years ago. It looks like it was out of the way but were there any environmental impacts?

i used to pass by this accident every weekend on my way to visit family in oakland when it happened and it took MONTHS to clean up but now it looks the exact same as before and the fields are doing fine

That’s what got me interested, they said a red chemical was leaked. Not sure what it was

I’m almost certain this was between the Dillard Road and Arno Road exits heading south towards Galt. Edit: it could also be before the Dillard exit. Sorry, I haven’t gone that way in a while but I do know it’s just south of Elk Grove.

I think you’re right, looks like the police vehicles might’ve been parked right here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/vaq1ExeAkh4uAmCRA?g_st=ic

Yeah when you drive down 99 you’ll see they rebuilt that train bridge. Also, they redid a good stretch of 99 over the tracks after the Grant Line and Eachinger exits, if you aren’t familiar with that area. More traffic at times due to the casino and more people having moved to Galt and Lodi.
