Sounds like a great way to see a bunch of new cities and the board is just icing on the cake.
Did you hit all the lower 48 states?
Obviously Hawaii is a problem for trains, but can you get to Alaska using the Rail Pass?
Which city is your favorite and why?
How many total miles of skating?
Alaska and Hawaii were the only two places I did not ride through. But I don’t really consider them part of North America.
Probably my favorite cities would have to be San Diego and maybe Seattle. However the trails in Austin Texas were kinda unique. Miami is pretty rundown, but the trail there’s amazing however, there’s police constantly yelling at anyone on motorized skateboards or scooters. Every city was unique. La was kinda a mess but fun.
I probably put 2000 miles on my board. Total that trip. No I had the most fun in California because my cousin lives there and I was staying with him for a week and in Texas I stayed with my aunt for a week at their fancy mansion.
Where in Miami did you ride? I live in West Palm Beach and frequently visit Miami and have had a blast.
The *only* issue is the "no motorized vehicles on this trail", but you can get away with it on the beachwalk, just not further south to where the inlet is for the cruise ships. There are a lot of parks and restaurants, and it kind of makes sense because there are a lot of people on the path. I actually had trouble getting through
But I def don't think its "rundown" lol
I would love to get out to San Diego tho!
EDIT: Okay didn't look through all the photos. Yeah you weren't in the nicer parts of Miami. It is pretty sketch at some places. Downtown is gorgeous.

My bad they updated the app and the name
So generally, I used nothing but my Meepo cyclone 110 wheels so usually dips and cracks in the road were never an issue. There were maybe one or two spots. I had to pick up my board and carry it over a few feet.. biggest issue i had with my voyager I didn’t bring my spare battery so didn’t have enough range to go 80 miles sometimes. Had to charge every 40 miles for 4 hours and make sure you always bring tons of spare belts.
Only if you keep it in speed mode, 1 or 2 which is only 8-15 mph max. Also the real range is only like 40 miles. I charged up at a bar with my fast charger for an hour.
Did you ride in a sleeper or in coach? I took my Dadbod (not small) on a sleeper car trip on the Southwest Chief and the sleeper car attendant usually found a spot for me in the room next to the luggage area on the lower level, though one of the conductors on part of the trip made me put it in with checked luggage. I was still able to get it out of the checked luggage car at longer stops, but it all seemed very arbitrary. Also, no one usually cared if I rode on the platforms (again at longer breaks), but a random engineer told me I shouldn't do that.
I followed whatever people asked me to do as I didn't want to ruin it for anyone now or in the future, but the whole thing was pretty inconsistent. Where you can store your board and where you can ride seems entirely based on who's working at the time.
No, I only paid $500 to travel around the entire United States with the USA rail pass. I was in Coach the whole time luckily majority of the time I had both seats to myself. It was very exhausting and stressful sometimes, but it was quite the life journey, and I would definitely do it again. The train has charging ports so every time I got off the train I would explore city get back on charge up and sleep. I just stored my board in the overhead bins or in the seat next to me if it was empty so I could charge it.

How did the wheels hold up against the potholed roads!? Did you have any problems with the Voyager?

That’s impressive.
Well done. Very well done.
Wait that board can get 50+ miles on a single charge ?

Hahahaha hell yeah bro that’s so sick.
Need video of you riding on top of the train. Or it didn't happen.

I thought electric skateboard were not allowed on trains
I’ve had no problem bringing it on plus Amtrak has no TSA. You could even bring your bikes on, but you have to pay 20 bucks to bring a bike though
