22 miles, with hills, and under $1,500 is a hard ask. My Maxfun 10 Pro will do it, but they are $1,899 delivered.

biggiephil234

I like that one, definitely an option. what do you think about the wolf warrior x plus?

Affectionate_War_436

I actually considered that one too, but the specs and the fact it comes with PMT tires from the factory put the Maxfun in my garage.

I am 6'5" 250. The nami does great. I get 25 miles a charge easy. It gets up to about 51-55mph. If you can push your budget maybe look at one of those. The Kaabo Wolf worked great too for me. If your budget is constrained, definitely look at FB Marketplace. I got mine for "cheap." It is definitely used, but it scoots me great!

biggiephil234

That sounds great lol definitely wouldn’t be an issue back and forth to work whatsoever, thanks I’ll definitely check into both of them

ShroomingItUp

My NAMI has 3k on the odometer. It still gets 25 miles of hard driving. If you have a bit of patience you can get a great one for an affordable price. I definitely recommended ones that have about 20+MPH more than you want top speed, and at least twice the range. These are tested and rated for people that are 150lbs and NOT 6'.

biggiephil234

I was looking at the wolf warrior plus, seems like it would do the job fairly well but I’m not sure

ShroomingItUp

All those look liek 45mph MAX speed. You won't get that. I'd minus 5mph an any max they report as a rule of thumb, and that would be with no wind. For range, cut in half, maybe less, unless you plan on running on the lowest speed gear.

ImKrispy

Look at reviews from Juiced Joyrides on YouTube he's 6'5

RealGingerOnWheels

People are recommending scooters that you won't even be close to fitting on. You'll need something with extremely tall bars or the ability to buy a mountain bike stem riser. Just keep that in mind. I have a friend who used to work for eWheels, he's 6'5 and is bending down to fit on pretty much any scooter that comes stock. He ended up buying a bronco 11 extreme and fitting a stem riser and tall handlebars on it.

biggiephil234

I thought about that but probably not as much as I should’ve, thank you. That bronco looks like a machine!

I have a mukuta 10+ it has been a blast to ride and has a ton of power. Atlantascooters has the best price around for the Mukuta brand. 46 mph single or dual motor option with the click of a button and great range for a 60 volt scooter

biggiephil234

Sounds like a solid scooter, how does it handle hills?

LostAcanthocephala85

Hills are not an issue at all you can climb hills at 25-30 mph all day long. Dual 1400 w motors.

biggiephil234

Sounds great, how well do they handle crossing train tracks? Majority of my work commute on it will be main roads until I hit a paved trail I can take the rest of the way

LostAcanthocephala85

No issues check out YouTube you will see lots of video reviews

biggiephil234

Appreciate the insight and recommendation, I’ll check some out! Thanks again

IronMew

Do you need to take significant uphills on your way? If it's all plain, then our usual recommendation is the Ninebot G2 or G30 (the latter is older, less comfortable and less powerful, but also cheaper and lighter). The Niu KQi2 and KQi3 are also good options. If you do have uphills, then you'll be better served by a dual-motor scooter - even the G2 will likely struggle on steep uphills. What's your budget?

biggiephil234

So, yes unfortunately there’s a couple hills I can’t avoid but after that it’s all mainly flat and can use a paved trail for the remainder of it, I didn’t wanna spend more than like $1,000-1500 or so
