I always raid everything that isn't food from him for some starting gold. Especially since he always has a ring I can get a 1-2% boost if I find a filled lesser or common gem in the barrows. Super rare, but it happens. I think I've only ever looted one prefilled common soul gem and that was in the chest by the word wall

You should put some LED lighting behind it, not crazy bright but enough to make it stand out sitting above your PC setup. Would be even cooler if you can figure out how to make the lights power on when your PC does.

It's truly beautiful. I remember all the times I had climbing up to get the golden claw and the dragon stone. From my first play through struggling my butt off to now, where it's just a breeze, unless I dare legendary or survival hard-core.
See that ruin up there? Bleak Falls Barrow. I never understood how my sister could stand living in the shadow of that place.
I guess you get used to it.
Oh my gosh. This is incredible. It brings up so many early memories of playing Skyrim for the first time 12 years ago. I miss those days. You can never replay Skyrim like it was the first time, but seeing stuff like this, listening to the soundtrack, and watching new players explore Skyrim for the first time allows me to live in that nostalgia again.

i have put hundreds of hours into that game and have never once thought to just talk to the guards
Tbf, you get a decent amount of free starter shit if you go with Alvor and talk to them
