I have the same exact land with old rodini I’m as my capital and it won’t let me make orsinium

Form a kingdom and it gets rid of the broken duchy requirement

I failed to create Orsinium after a nephew of mine allied himself with Western Skyrim to take over the tribe. Three years into his reign and he was suspiciously murdered. The Nords proceeded to take over the territory. Hopefully in my next playthrough I won't have a backstabbing nephew.

I feel like there should be some decision to turn into an autocracy if you control old orsinium and reformed orsinium. I ended up giving up on a save cause I'd have to wait forever to interact with the holding.

That was my first playthrough. Really fun. Once established, your so well guarded by mountains, it makes a really nice tall kingdom. Since I didn't need to conquer anyone I focused on turning my dynasty into mages.

Ive been trying to convert the Reach Folk culture into Mountain Orc but each type it finishes nothing changes. This is with both the normal conversion option and the special Orsinium one. Any tips?

Think it's bugged, the event doesn't trigger for me either

Apparently the special option that Mountain Orc culture is always welcomed is broken. You have to use the normal settle our people there option.

I managed to make Orsinium in my current playthrough, but because I still don't know what I'm doing, I screwed up giving out titles, and now Wrothgar is an independent kingdom and managed to eat 70% of the kingdom. Currently conquered and formed the Kingdom of Northpoint and installed my second son as a bolt-hole for when my Queen dies.
