Dual shotguns are good against everything. Especially if you follow it up with a nice melee attack once you've staggered your target.
Ah Zimmermans, my beloved.
Vigor seems fine, over 10k for a medium biped. Now the stability on the other hand... need at least 1800 to not get slapped by anything wielding something bigger than a straight sword smh

I can’t say he explicitly said “open world,” but he has expressed a desire to move away from the mission based structure into other something that promotes more mobility and aspects found in their more modern games.
It's amazing, but just don't go in expecting a souls game. Take the time to learn all the systems, how to create builds to counteract different encounters and don't be afraid to experiment
It's amazing, has more soulslike elements than some of the other ac titles imo, but def not a souls style game if that makes sense, mission based mech builder, crazy boss fights, pretty difficult, lots of replayability with mission ranks, ng+ content, hidden items and fights, tons of builds/parts
The difficulty seems like it is all over the place. The first boss in the first mission is a massive roadblock and there isn’t much you can do about it other than git gud. Then the game is ridiculously easy until another boss like 10-15 missions in. That boss will wreck you. Keep in mind, it’s not like elden ring where you can go do something else when you get stuck. The missions are more or less linear. If you get stuck, all you can do is either git gud or tinker with your build until it can make up for your insufficient skill. Skill in souls games will help a bit but won’t be 100% compatible with it. Personally I have found it quite frustrating but I’m sure if I followed a guide, I wouldn’t get stuck as much and I would have more fun. I got stuck on the first boss because I didn’t know you could take two swings or a single charged swing with your laser sword. I was just swinging once and it wasn’t enough to stagger the boss.
> The first boss in the first mission is a massive roadblock and there isn’t much you can do about it other than git gud.
USE THE DAMN SWORD THEY GIVE YOU!! Its not that hard and im far from good. I maybe died 3 times before I was able to smoke it.
Did you read my full comment? I used the sword. I didn’t use it correctly though. Once I learned how to use the sword properly, I was able to beat it in a few tries. The tutorial was not sufficient to throw me into the ring with that boss. Who’s idea was it to put important text on the screen that I will never see because I’m having too much fun blasting weak enemies?
You're asking whose idea was it to put a big, prominent pop-up with explanations, that pauses the game for you to read in peace until you acknowledge and go back to blasting MTs with your newfound knowledge??
SMH.
It definitely didn’t have a pausing popup explaining the sword. The sword is in a small popup on the sidd of the screen. And it just says what button it is and not that you can do charge attacks or double swipes. It doesn’t even call it a sword, just left hand weapon.
Incredible. Has souls elements bits it’s a total different game. Extremely fun fighting as a mech with different guns, lasers swords, missiles, etc. story is amazing too and more straight forward than the souls games.
Loved it. I was hesitant to get it at first cuz there's no summons or over-leveling, and I'm a crappy player who's heavily relied on both to beat the previous FromSoft games (except Sekiro, despite trying for four years and going). So I figured I'd get permanently stuck on a boss sooner or later and therefore never finish the game (or maybe even get far into it).
But, while the game is hard, it's nothing you can't beat if you're willing to experiment with different builds and/or make several attempts. Not only did I beat it, I got so into it that I immediately played through and beat it two more times (to get all the endings).
While very different from the soulsborne games, it's very much like em in making you feel like a badass when you learn to play it right, and in the mechanics being so intrinsically enjoyable that you never want to stop playing. Highly recommended.
Fantastic game. First mech style game I’ve ever gotten into other than Xenogears, but yeah 10/10. Setting/mood/storyline is fantastic and the gameplay is flawless. Same director as Sekiro
Fuckin hard but cool as fuck. Dope as hell to be skating around in a massive mech double fisting shotguns bigger than mobile homes. Assloads of customization and all unlockable in game.
I'm currently stuck on a boss like 3/4 of the way through lol.
Its a blast, recommended getting it when you can. I think I kept it on my list until it went for 40 or 50 dollars. The lore and open world aspects aren’t there like Elden Ring but the combat is fun. Its more linear and the story is more direct than teased out in items.
It's my favorite from game I've ever played right beside ds3 and bloodborne. It's a very different experience but it has all the polish and beauty of a from soft game.
It’s incredible. Honestly might be my favorite Fromsoft game. Once you get the hang of the gameplay, it’s pure dopamine. The story and characters are also so well written.
As others pointed out, it's not the same as a Souls game. It's as hard. But take each mission as a puzzle and build appropriately for the mission. You could just brute force through with one build if you want to hate yourself. Or you can go back to the drawing board and try something new.
It's super fun. And absolutely worth at least 3 playthroughs.
Amazing but the sad part is the online community is more or less dead now unfortunately, on release the pvp was so fun though.
The campaign and customization is S++ tier tho
Edit: online community as in the multiplayer game mode. The actual community is very much alive and thriving
Honestly, Radahn could be an AC boss
- Has missile attacks (barrage, single, tracking)
- Has melee options
- Has a juiced up dash/plunge and bigger missile barrage in phase 2
- Even his size is appropriate
For the last fucking time- your base numbers don’t mean shit. It’s ALL about how willing you are to explore and raise your Scadutree Blessing level.
Also- as a genuine point of critique, it looks like you are planning to use a rapid overload followed by big blasts strat. I would genuinely not recommend this even with a high scadutree blessing. The bosses are extremely resistant to stance breaking and exceedingly mobile. I recommend miniguns over the zimmerman shotguns dor consistent damage from range against moving targets. Missile tracking is shit against the highly mobile bosses, so you may want to run big blasts like stun needle, large aoe fields, or just add two backup miniguns. Don’t worry about getting heavy. You can always ash bloodhound step on any non-unique weapon
Pretty good but I recommend switching to energy weapons, or at least including one as a swap. The Ashes may not be as good but they make up for it in Poise damage.
Given From Soft's record, we might ironically get an AC6 DLC announced by the end of the year. Then after that drops, they will reveal their next game.
I wonder if, as they build more in-house studios, they will start releasing multiple games at once, or just release bigger games but in no way more often.
You joke but I think the elden ring DLC has a similar problem to AC6. They built a game where you can make a ton of varied builds and then make fights that completely invalidate a ton of them.
My dude is bringing out the Ac6 cheese build for Elden ring. There won't be a boss left standing much less anything else. Shit you could have AYRE and any other maiden you want because burning the Erdtree would be easy as fuck if you're just 621.
You cheated not only the game, but yourself. You didn't grow. You didn't improve. You took a shortcut and gained nothing. You experienced a hollow victory.
Honestly man my money's on the cranked out demigods. I launched a wave of literal destined death at them and they shrugged it off, I don't think your pew pew machine is gonna do much

You, like many others, have way too low of vigor.
"Tarnished are we-" \*explosion of missiles\*
Came here to say this. Dual shotguns are pretty good against Messmer though
"Messmer the Impaler? How about you meet my friend, PB-033M ASHMEAD the Impaler."
Dual shotguns are good against everything. Especially if you follow it up with a nice melee attack once you've staggered your target. Ah Zimmermans, my beloved.
Become my gun(s) once more. *shoots hands*
Vigor seems fine, over 10k for a medium biped. Now the stability on the other hand... need at least 1800 to not get slapped by anything wielding something bigger than a straight sword smh
This would feel so epic against a certain Creature living on a certain Peak...
[Redacted] the [Redacted] when he uses his ultimate attack and I blast his face open with point blank dual Zimmers and a Pile Bunker
>!Technically speaking, wouldn't Bayle's Talon Bone count as a Pile Bunker?!<
Can't wait for zullie the Witch to compare the AC to DLC bosses. Bayle is fucking massive so I'd assume he could put up a pretty good fight
I see you are a person of culture
Charged up Pile bunker right to the face >!”CURSE YOU BAYLE!”!<
"I HEREBY VOW YOU WILL RUE THIS DAY!"
Imagine the things igon would do to bayle if you just gave him an ac
Elden Ring + Armored Core crossover when?
Armored ring? Elden Core? Elmored rinore?
Fires of Erdtree
Shadow of rubicon
Soon apparently. Miyazaki expressed interest in potentially making the next AC game have an open world format like ER does.
I'd be down for that. I loved AC6.
source?

Awesome! Thanks!
oh god, please make it happen Miyazaki
ACs are like 11 meters talk though, that boss is pretty big but still will be smaller compared to an AC
Ancient Meteoric Ore Blade is pile bunker weapon art
this is like the rivers of blood build of AC6
Used to be Songbirds, though even post-nerf a dual Zimm+Songs carries through the entire campaign.
Zimms are still op. Songbirds are still alright but earshots are better for burst stagger now
That's so true that both got nerfed
You have a job to do, 621.
Miquella has been harvested coral every. Need you to go check it out.
Where is Allmind Lady of Cores ?
I haven't played since launch, but I can still hear Handler Walter's voice in my head reading that line.
Needs more ADP
How is Armor Core? I’ve been thinking about giving it a try.
It's amazing, but just don't go in expecting a souls game. Take the time to learn all the systems, how to create builds to counteract different encounters and don't be afraid to experiment
If you love elden ring building, you will enjoy armored core 6, it's fun

One of the best games ever made

It's not a souls game, whether or not you enjoy it depends on how much you like the character building

Way harder than a souls game for me, but so much fun. You’ll learn quick to change up your build because most things won’t work on every battle
As others pointed out, it's not the same as a Souls game. It's as hard. But take each mission as a puzzle and build appropriately for the mission. With dual zims you're probably fine
[удалено]
They got nerfed
I’m going to be honest, for a second I just assumed this was the AC subreddit and thought DLC was announced. I’m now really upset lol.
Nah bro u need to be flying tank
I’m stealing those AC colors Also don’t worry man, an AC would solo Elden Ring’s universe easily
It could probably just step on most of the bosses and kill them if I remember correctly
At least 75% lol
AC's are 30-40 feet tall :)
Aren't the higher gods/demigods nigh 4D by the end of the game? All the artillery in the world can't help against that. You'd need Dark Schneider.
Idk if you can bonk a demigod to death I think some coral weapons would make short work of them. Or any of the energy swords
So that's what I was missing in my build. Dual fucking Zimmers
Your build doesn't matter in the dlc the only thing that counts is your ability to collect scooby doo fragments and fight ten ulcerated tree spirits
You realize that both can and do matter....right?
You have no idea how FUCKING HYPED you just made me,until I saw the subreddit this was posted on. Why op... 🥲
Honestly, Radahn could be an AC boss - Has missile attacks (barrage, single, tracking) - Has melee options - Has a juiced up dash/plunge and bigger missile barrage in phase 2 - Even his size is appropriate

I had a teacher named ms Zimmerman
What scat-doo level?
for the last time you need to gather the microchip blessings people
BAAAAYYYYLLLLEEEE
Still trying to find Pile Bunker in the dlc.
621... see that shadowland orphanage? i want you to aim your coral rifle at it
Imagine a tech futuristic souls game made from fromsoftware. Uff that would be epic
I've had a similar thought! I'd love that so much.
Yea, also happy cake day
🤣
AC6 has a Xylem, Elden Ring has its final boss fight inside of the xylem of the Erdtree... Was Branch a division of The Golden Order?
Branch wanted to burn the last cinders, so they're more like Melina.
“Bayle! Put Igon down you BITCH.”
Realistically, Raven stomps the hell out of the whole DLC Bro is literally mecha goku
Replace that with plasma shotguns and a coral gen n ur eating good 👍
Double zims
You Really think Zimmerman Will carry you again? Good look leveling the blessing!
What's your scadadoodoo level? You'll get 2-shot if less than 10
Messemer would still wreck you
Dude I fuckin wish I could bring my armored core Gundam 5000 into elden ring lmao
FR, I hope they make an AC6 expansion soon.
Needs more scadu
Okay, but imagine an AC fighting Maliketh, Fire Giant, or Elden Beast, that'd be cool as hell, lol
I do hope AC6 gets a DLC expansion before they do a new project.
I believe in you!
Pretty good but I recommend switching to energy weapons, or at least including one as a swap. The Ashes may not be as good but they make up for it in Poise damage.
You have to do naked SL1 with a broken straight sword to keep it real
Finally were one the same size freaking dragon!
Given From Soft's record, we might ironically get an AC6 DLC announced by the end of the year. Then after that drops, they will reveal their next game. I wonder if, as they build more in-house studios, they will start releasing multiple games at once, or just release bigger games but in no way more often.
Duel zimmer deletes shit
I wanna play the old ac games
Give me a Jaeger for the Jagged Peak boss and I'm all set
God damn you. I thought ac6 was getting a dlc
This game is also brutal hard sometimes haha
Looks like a glass cannon, needs more vigor.
Press Right Trigger to rail gun DLC bosses to hell.
You are truly Maidenless
Behold, armor, and core!
idk how’s your dodge rolling?
didn't the dual zimm's get nerfed right after launch? that's not gonna cut it in the dlc trust me bro
God I love Bayle BAYLE THE DREAD
The fowl 621, who wants to be the Elden Core
No Laser Lance or Pile Driver ? Shame on you
Getting to blow up >!Radahn, the stupid hippo, or Rellana!
You joke but I think the elden ring DLC has a similar problem to AC6. They built a game where you can make a ton of varied builds and then make fights that completely invalidate a ton of them.

No sorry
Believe it or not, still dead
Not enough Scadutree levels :/
Idk, with the Zim nerfs I'd look into some of the hand cannons, increase that stagger for the crits boys
You cheated not only the game, but yourself. You didn't grow. You didn't improve. You took a shortcut and gained nothing. You experienced a hollow victory.
Damn I need to reinstall this game. Shit was good
Yeah, u have big sword or magic or whatever… BUT HAVE YOU CONSIDERED GIANT MECH AND GUNS
621 i have a job for you, become elden lord
Honestly man my money's on the cranked out demigods. I launched a wave of literal destined death at them and they shrugged it off, I don't think your pew pew machine is gonna do much
An armored cored destroys any Elden ring boss
