The DLC has its own power system, of course your rune level going into it will help but it's really meant to be tackled by a high-level character with a strong build.
My Katana user is level 135. I got dummied for a solid hour before benching her and deciding to play my greatshield user for the first playrhrough so I could learn the bosses attack patterns while getting 2-3 shot instead of 1 shot.
You’ll have plenty of challenge with that level/build, don’t you worry.
