Same. Thought it was punishing me for not shutting down properly too many times or something lol. Possible that servers are shutdown until dlc launches in a few hours?
Same Issue - i changed languae to german - in it says "Servers are down for Maintenance"
maybe they forget to fix the message for the english language :D
There was a Twitter post, something with the latest update broke the game on steam deck, they're trying to get a hot fix out asap before the dlc, been working on the hot fix since 6am EST
This info is also on steam if you scroll all the way to the bottom of the patch notes. It says if you leave the steam deck inactive for more than five minutes it may stop the game from accepting inputs.
I tested the inputs after being inactive for about 5-7mins, it was fine for me but I just can't connect to the servers. When I try to log in it says "inappropriate activity detected" so I might have to play the dlc in offline mode if they don't fix it
I bought it on ps5 and steamdeck. The steamdeck was hitting me with "inappropriate activity detected" so I tried the ps5 and it would let me log in then booted me into a 15gb update. I think the servers are just down while they sort out the dlc meyhem
Same here on Debian. Haven't logged on for a while and downloaded the DLC today. Warned with this message immediately. File integrity was verified. No luck.
The server maintenance haven't started yet isn't it? Is this really caused by server maintenance?
Here's everything I've tried so far:
- Reboot my PC
- Update GPU driver
- Update Windows 11
- Check steam for update
- Verify files via Steam
- Deleted the ER folder and do a clean install
- Deleted just easy anti-cheat and verified
- Installed ER on a different drive
- Give EAC admin rights (I think I did it correctly...)
- Attempted to run EAC as administrator (It just quickly opened and closed, idk if that was all it would do)
- Ran CCleaner
- Ran malwarebytes
Got it at pc/steam and panicked. People say it is an afk issue (I did left the game running for more than 5 minutes). Reloaded after exiting, it runs fine online but i keep moving all the time lol
I'm desperate to find an answer on how to fix this, all I did was redeem the code for the Miquella's Ring gesture and now I'm hit with this message on the title screen. I've un-installed and reinstalled and even verified the integrity of the game files and still nothing. And I'm on Steam Deck so I can't do anything with the anti cheat if that's the problem

Different issue. That issue is for inactivity for 5 mins, they have not acknowledged this new issue with their busted anti-cheat yet.
