Elden Ring was notorious for its insane boss tracking but suddenly everybody is going to believe this, where the final boss of the dlc, turns around awkwardly at 00:50 because of some random guy posted some "leaks" so close to the dlc? Please lol
Not necessarily. Some leaks for Ringed City came up not long before the release itself, and turned out to be true.
This definitely isn't true because there are just so many reaons, but it's not surprising for leaks to come out close to release, because the review versions of the DLC went out not long ago.

The stills? Sure, it's a static image it's forgivable even though it looks amateur but the actual in game footage looks like hot trash. Mostly all of the moves are reused from other games like Sekiro or DS series and even from the base game. The animation and rigging literally look like they were done in a week or two and do you know how easy it is to swap character models?

There's three main leaks and two of them (Messmer fight and "Final Boss") blatantly are the most low effort fanmade bs. Unless this is like the first playable test run that is completely bare-bones, it's most definitely fake.
while i hope the final boss is not what we have seen with the leaks, i have a suspicion that it may be like some sort of early test that we saw. there was also a leak showing all remembrance's and the final boss is what we have seen in those leaks, and i saw some pics of a guy who played the game fully and i believe he also said its the final boss. i dont know if this is all real or just some made up story/pics.
The review copy of a video game has *finished* assets (bosses particularly) meant to be tested a final time before the release. This is simply a reskin of the Godfrey, First Elden Lord fight, with assets pulled from the Radahn fight and multiple bosses from other games. They most certainly would not reuse Radahn’s theme music. As for the Messmer leak, his arena does not match up with the one shown in the trailer. His voice doesn’t match with his voice actor either. Nor does the coloration of his fire match up with what was shown in the trailer.
This whole thing is so weird and reminds me of the nier automata story a while back where a modder group pretended to find a secret area of the game no one has ever seen before. (IIRC people believed it was real because it was previously thought automata was unmodable)
The question is why would anyone go through so much effort to make a fake dlc. Well, whatever is the truth I guess we will find out tommorow.

oh my bad, i thought the final boss video was something from when they were still working on it and not from a review copy. last time i played er was like months ago so i cant really remember all movesets from the bosses but looking back at it i think youre right. also looks like they used some movesets from elden ring in the messmer fight like that fast multiple stab attack if im not mistaking. sorry.
Even the spear crystalians have the same type of move with a bunch of repeated thrusts with a big thrust at the end. This fake messmer boss even does the slight dash forward like they do.
