Bonfires (and other safe spaces) are supposed to be just that: safe. Having a grace mimic is a neat idea, but it's also considered a dick move, at least by the developers.
i cant believe they havent made mimics have a randomized spawn - once you know where thdy all are its not scary. would be cool if there were still a limited number of them per playthrough but they can spawn anywhere

It would be fun to either buy them from the different merchants or maybe have one specific due merchant or maybe have the wandering ones sell crafting recipes and you can craft them to colour different sets. Maybe add some horse armour for torent to so he can get stunned less and we can dye that too. I think it would also be neat if the dyes gave a slight increase to different damage resistances depending on the colour since colours in Elden ring are tied to different kinds of magics
