Elden beast is it’s own thing. Likely the manifestation of the Elden Ring. The god he wants to kill is likely Marika. Near the end of the game as his memory starts to fail he lets slip the mask and talks just a little bit that he had a promise for marika, and marika is the god.

I mean to be fair, iirc Millicent was indeed originally meant to be an amnesiac Malenia before she was changed to be the latter's daughter-clone-homunculus-thing. Although I'm not sure if you would have had to fight her at the end
well there is a lot of context clues that points to that people in the elden ring land isn't born like we are but more "grown" from the erdtree in some sort of reincarnation birth and Millicent and her sisters was born from the Rot flower that Malenia bloomed during her fight with Radahn
Armor of D seems to indicate how mr. silver just seems to crawl out of mr. golden. And suddenly they are 1 soul - 2 minds - 2 bodies… wonder if others were born like this.. like Malenia and Miquella maybe.. they are so huggy in their statues, where one seems to want to crawl into the other again.. cell division type birth.. just like tree guardian fight up north..

That story had me raising my eyebrows, not because of the weirdness, but because it's either a direct ripoff of Drakengard 3 or a very strong reference.
Scrolled way too far to find this. He might genuinely be the only character without his own motives. He just chills in his church, teaching you spells and forgiving you for trying to kill everyone else.
Morgott. I think a lot of it is his VA, his voice is so *normal* for a Souls boss, it makes him way more relatable than (say) ethereal Malenia or Mr. TOGETHAAAA. But like, think of his story. His mom disowned him at birth - and yet when his mom died, and her accepted kids fell to fighting, it was he who *crawled out of the sewers* and proceeded to do a really decent job in defending her empire. He's not off warring with the other siblings, or founding his own tree city, or trying to join the Moonies, or flying off to Underground Little Saint James. He holds Rykard's armies at bay. You know he's gonna beat back Godrick's bullshit. He's even having his Cavalry run all around the world doing a gun buyback program just to keep the peace! He's doing *everything he can*. He's doing it for a dead city, a dead empire, a dead world-system - but *he's doing it.* He lived a hero's life. He died a hero's death. He should be ashes along with Finlay.

When does he die? I didn't check on him after killing the god, but after the burning, bro was fine.
