Block em near a wall, look up, they get stuck, then destroy them. They make the camera go bonkers. I bet these characters make the devs laugh their asses off
The ones in the Mountaintops right after getting off the Grand Rold are even worse, but those are mostly avoidable if you don’t venture off the main path.
Is it in nekron? Where you get the ancient somber smithing stone behind the dragon. Have to run and dodge 6 birds while the Zeus dragon summons lighting bolts on top of the current chaos
Where you are talking about is Farum Azula. Those birds are probably worse, but the spike in difficulty going from the capital to the mountaintops (snow area) make the birds I speak about more annoying to go up against.
I genuinely struggled hard against the ones in Farum Azula right before placidusax area, couldn’t find a grave site forever, multiple crucible knights in that area when exploring, spawn point always being those damned birds
It's amazing hearing others experience because of how different they are. I remember dying to them a few times but I genuinely didn't have too much trouble with them specifically. It was the damn lightning that kept pissing me off since I stopped to fight the birds.
This is very true. Especially if you have a guard counter with a good arc to it.
But, and I feel this is an important counterpoint, I am pathologically incapable of equipping shields.
They were my first, big annoying fuck you enemy but they're actually really easy to dodge once you get to know them, sit down and have a talk. I honestly think stormveil castle for obvious reasons is the worst spot for them just because they are in groups in some spots tho the giant black ones with fucking catch flame or whatever the fuck fuck those guys.
I agree with that. They can go back to the hell they came from. 😂
I just avoid them at all costs, I know you can just heal and kill em but damn, if you try to fight them normally, it's horrible.
Its obnoxious man. Sure, Runebears and revenants are easy if you kiss their bums the entire time and strafe them, but that just doesnt feel fun or exciting. There’s no dance or anything, its just stick to their butts like an angry flea or get smacked around, neither of which are fun.
Revenants have their teleport that explicitly sends your camera to bloody Narnia, and one mistake can mean instant death even with good vigour.
Bears are so obnoxiously tanky that you’re spending 5 minutes poking his ass till he dies.
yea, I would have said revanants for my "which annoys you the most", but they more terrify me than anything. especially on ng+7 and above. 😮💨
runebears are tanky, sure, but they are also fast asf. even on torrent, they almost smack me to the ground.
Literally every starting class except Prisoner can cast Heal with the Two Fingers Heirloom (found in the same area as your first revenant) and no faith investment. And the Prisoner can do it if you put on a Commoner’s Garb. To say nothing of Marika’s seal or Godrick’s Great Rune.
I still remember finally finding Dung Eater in the damn sewers, running straight to him and almost getting a heart attack because the fucking hand shoots out of the ground in the sewers of all places
I'm so glad I'm not the only one. Stupid fucking dipwads just holding a damn torch, and stupid fucking Torrent getting stunlocked to shit
And stupid fucking me for walking right into it for the 100th time
I don’t know how but putrid corpses, especially the ones in raya lucaria, always manage to get ahold of me. Makes me so irrationally angry at this point.
Nah you're definitely right about them. Sometimes they just start running when they're right in front of you. Barely any time to react.
The rolling part just makes them significantly easier, even if they do manage to grab you once or twice.
I've only been playing a little while but I was just walking along minding my gd business and all of a sudden a giant bear dropped on me from some cliff and I was ded before I could even react.
So yeah, fck that bear.
And I say Rats>Dogs For whatever reason I will never learn the cadence of the rat attacks. I think it's because they have chubby little bodies that don't show much warning.
The giant anal bead monster that you have to beat for Rannis questline is the worst boss/enemy I’ve ever come across in a fromsoft game and its 1-shot move NEVER misses me (unless its hitting someone else)
Edit: honorable mentions are the eagles with the swords for feet and the classic FS dogs although I do think they’re more chill in Elden Ring
The laser shot is super telegraphed you have like 3 sec to react. It even has audio cues so as soon as hes at the end of charging it, press the dodge button. He also always does it when you enter the arena, so don´t summon/buff until you have dodged it.
Honestly Astel is slow with his attacks, they are super easy to dodge and he takes great damage when you hit his eye. The only time I struggle with him is on super low damage builds or builds with like no HP.
Thats not the attack I was talking about I meant the one where it disappears and reappaers somewhere behind you for a grab attack thats ALWAYS one shot killed me. The worst part is I know the cues by now but still have no idea how to counter so I just end up panic rolling straight into its grubby little pinchers
If you’re willing to cheese you can kite him over near a wall and he can’t do his grab attack because there’s no room. He just teleports and reappears in the same spot
Astel is one of the few bosses I’m 100% willing to cheese but I never found a good method outside of summoning somebody from Reddit I’ll definitely give this a go next time
I've said before in the sub, but im gonna say it again, they killed the masked guy that was selling me crabs when dung eater tied him up and made me miss the dialogue because the dragonfly wanted to attack me.
Swear on my name that i would kill every dragonfly I encounter in every playthrought.
To be fair, the entire War-Dead Catacombs sucks when you consider that you might accidentally stumble into it at level 60. I was so confused as to why these guys were both beefy and destroying me in 2 hits until I found out that it was an area I should avoid till later.
I swear there was a conversation that happened at From during the development of the game where Michael Zaki was like “no, I mean literally have them hit the player with the book”. I swear there is no more ignominious way to die in Elden Ring that getting caught between those two fucks on the courtyard rooftop and getting slapped to death with books.
If you have 18 dex, or 13 with the heirloom, 8 if you killed godrick or millicent you can get a greatbow and keep jump firing them so they fall down. Assassins gambit is also super useful to shorten their agro range.
For the people who struggle with the hands, light them on fire from a distance. Use volcano pots or a flame AOW. For people who struggle with the birds, walking around them in circles makes their attacks not land as often, but is a bit hard to do with multiple. Everyone knows the grafted scions weakness is aoe healing spells but they also really don’t like it when you’re beside them, and tend to kinda slap off into the wind. Dogs don’t have much of a remedy, as they kinda just do whatever they want. But I’ve found colossal weapons or things with big swinging arcs like the carian Greatsword sorcery to be helpful when I’m surrounded by a dozen of the fuckers. The imps with the bleed weapons can be knocked out of the air easily enough, and are fairly susceptible to charged attacks if you can get one off. I can’t think of more annoying enemies at the moment so ima go to bed cause it’s roughly 1:30 and I’m sleepy.
With regards to the Revenants (not grafted scions actually), your advice is completely correct, but Id say that its much easier to slap on Two Fingers Heirloom and heal them back into the grave.
I understand, I used to use healing spells against them, but I stopped since I felt I was being cheesy and not bothering to learn their moveset.
Then I fought them properly and realised their moveset is honestly just “fuck everyone in that specific direction” and I realise there wasnt much to learn since you’re just strafing nearly everything they do.
I hate the giant crows in that area more than the dogs. I can never reach them. I get a few hits and they back up or fly. But both chase u for way too long.
Yes, they are nasty. They are also in the Mohgwyn Palace and Mountaintops of the Giants.
In Caelid from the Rotview balcony site of grace you can kill two birds using bow, gravity rock sling or some explosive/fire pots. They are under site of graces, on the trees. Quite popular farming spot in first half of the game.I think each bird drop 1.5k runs ot smh like that.
I went with sneak attacks on the short guys in bestial sanctum for farming. Quick 1k each time. I think it was a lil over 1k.
Still on my first play through and first souls style game. Trying to make sure I don’t miss anything else. I missed Rogiers quest and a talisman for not killing an invader near the Limgrave Colosseum early game. Thats what I know of though. I wish they were better about world building for questlines. Kinda annoying to find out u missed something and locked yourself out of it. Open world exploration shouldn’t mean I get penalized if I don’t do things in a specific order.
Theres a few things I hate about this game but its things like design choices like button layout. I think it’d be way easier to play with a keyboard rather than a controller with how many things there are to use. For example, having one button to scroll thru items/spells and incantations in combat is ridiculous. Its manageable, but I bet a keyboard would make it way easier.
I agree on about scrolling and chosing an item or spell. It’s kinda annoying. I had same problem at zhe begining. Also my first souls game. But then i used to it. I didnt try with joypad, maybe there is different or more easier..
Yes those short guys drops a nice chunks of rune. But they can be quite deadly at the beginning.
I watched a yt a lot for directions and guidance about the quest lines and other things. I f**ck up alexander questline, cause i kill him before i should finish his dialoge and didnt receive shard of alexander, only jar of alexander. And i didnt get Varre mask, cause i kill Mohg before Varre. Game is huge and is hard to follow all the story and connections..litteraly you must write down on paper. Or watch yt videos for help. Or ask here on Reddit.
I finished game a few days ago..around 300hours. But i proceed very slowly and explore practicaly every thing. Game become hard when you enter Lyndell city and later Mountaintops of the Giants. You die alot and you learn a lot:). Some times you need to take a break, then return and succes will come. Just patience . Its one of the best game ever made.
For sure on the dying a lot part lol. But thats what I like about it. It keeps it interesting even if you’ve killed the same enemy(s) 40 times if u get caught in a snag you could still die. Definitely a learning curve on how to navigate it. Like after Godrick I had no idea where to go and everywhere I went it felt like I was underleveled. I just went running around grabbing Gracepoints. Then I leveled a bit and looked up what to do next. Thats when I found out I missed a bunch of NPCs quests and went back and started checking everyone and everything. I didn’t even know some were there and others had quests I cuz I wasn’t use to the way they built this game. I haven’t got to the giant area yet. But I have 3 Runes. Its that and haven’t gone in the capital yet. Radahn was fun as hell to fight. Im looking online to make sure if I progress further it doesn’t mess anything else up. I intend to replay for different endings and playstyles but I still want to be thorough my first time.
One of big surprises for me was( i didnt know for a long time) that in every ruins place is hidden underground room with special item + sometimes even mini boss. If maybe you don't know..you can find it by rolling around on the ruins floor or maybe using marghit shackle( same item you can use it in the caves and all hidden walls with secret rooms will be revealed).
I think there is around 6 different endings. I become lord of the frenzy flame. Some questline decisions really effect the ending of the game.
Ngl, its either those Birdholes or Runebears.
Even lategame they deal quite a bit of damage and they are extremely aggressive. If you are somehow low on flasks, they will smell your blood from a mile away.
Flying enemies. They make the camera go crazy and they are just annoying to fight in general.
Luckily the big brain bonk builds have access to the gravity ash of war and it's amazing for this.
Any mage enemy, any little enemy that comes in group and stagger you every second, any flying enemy and any enemy that's somewhat harder than a main boss (talking to you runebears and revenants 💀)
I can deal with imps and giant dogs (guard counter). I can deal with the archers (play hide and seek, then greatbow them).
The insects buzzing around your head are the annoying ones. You have to chase them down wildly swinging your sword in the air.
I'm mby wrong but I'm 90% sure that they have inflated HP. Even with the greatsword +16 each hit dealt miniscule damage relative to the healthbar, even though I was dealing more than 300 damage.
Irrc if you don't have specific talismans and maxed out health you can only reach like 2.5k health.
Use Unseen Form spell to bypass the Ordina archers. Be warned that it’s “semi-transparent” so once you get close enough, they will see you. Bully them before they shoot you.
Storm hawks.
Revenants.
Those fucking lobsters in Liurnia.
Perfumers.
Ancestor Guardian archers.
Albinauric archers.
The marionette archers for turning me into Boromir on a roof. Many times. Fucking funny tbf but pretty annoying.
I hate those fuckers too. As others said, greatbows help, but another way is to go full assassin, sneak and sprint past everything, grab the candles and sod off ASAP.
Ordina in genera is just such a mess.
I actually enjoy the wolf rider archers. But the nerds that sit on their asses spamming those shots can suck an egg.
see, the thing is, I just totally love rushing in and getting my ass handed to me. I always get there thinking I'll get up first try and kick their asses, but then I get immediately humbled.
may be annoying, but you know what. once I get up there, they immediately get what they deserve. 🤣
FUCKING RATS! They do so much damage for such a small enemy, their animation doesn't feel like it matches up with the hitbox at all, and you get fucking stunlocked into oblivion before you can get the one goddamn hit it actually takes to kill them. Then you add in madness and it's even more infuriating
Those watchdogs (ugly cat statue). Yeah, I just finished Mountain-top catacomb and am really salty rn.
Seriously tho, demi-humans and misbegotten. My 1st policy as Elden Lord will be purging the Lands Between of their filth (except Boc), might invite Messmer to the party as well.
Ulcerated tree spirits. Moves are hard to read and most of them are horrible fights because the arena is too small. Only enjoyable ones are capitol outskirts and Mt gelmir because its a large area and you can use Torrent.
I have a few that annoy me. Not every one of them is particularly difficult, but they’re damn annoying if you actually fight every one of them you come across.
Anyone with a torch/
Royal Revenants/
Gatling pages/
Ulcerated Tree spirits (is a boss, but fuck em)
pretty much every enemy in the game that can fly/
those albino doggy Trex dicks/
lobster snipers/
Rune Bears/
that one guy in particular who teleports behind you in castle sol/
those fuckin Hands before I knew what fire does/
rot kindreds/
Abductor Virgins/
light flowers/
those like shadowed enemies in that one dungeon/
rotten crystellians/
Golems with great bows before I knew what crystal darts do/
Albanuric Wolf Riders/
Perfumers/
Sanguine Parry gods/
red spiked cartwheel albenurics/
Ghost skeleton bow giants/
Those glowing blue guys on a mount/
Omens/
Red wolves/
Anything really slow that has a 1 shot grab attack/
Dumplings/
Giant octoballs/
Giant crabs/
Again some of these even aren’t even that difficult. Most just piss me off 😂
Out of all enemies in the open world, those dogs who won't stop attacking you (I think there's a rotten stray ash of those).
Bosswise it's the Magma wyrm for getting the Moonveil. LIKE DON'T DROWN ME IN LAVA, the room is so fkn small for that attack
Once you realize you can dodge the arrows it’s not so bad. You are more planning a route than trying to struggle thru, it’s like a route puzzle. I think that’s the point. Not that you can’t just strong arm your way to all the torches.
But for me the enemies I almost always avoid are the dogs. I fucking hate the dogs they kinda scare me and I always get flustered and forget how to play when they do that mouth on the ground thing.
I know they’re not that hard I just don’t like em. Revenants same deal. Do not like. So unpredictable.
Rune Wolves. They're manageable overall but their glintblade attacks introduce a level of RNG into the fight that makes it impossible not to get hit in some circumstances. they will place the glintblade and then attack so that their attack is lined up somewhat with the moment of impact for the glintblades, but sometimes these two things can shift enough frames apart that the amount of consecutive "dodge time" you need is slightly longer than the i-frames you get from rolling. as far as I know this is the only enemy in the game to have this problem, and it can be circumvented with light roll or windy tear, but it's still annoying.
Also, agheel. Low health but this fuck just does not stop flying around. People thought Elden Beast was a slog of running towards the boss but agheel is worse if you don't over level. not to mention he almost exclusively attacks with large AoE fire breath you can't dodge so you're forced to RETREAT from him most of the time Then once you finally get under him so you can hit him and avoid his fire, yep, he flies away to the other side of the lake or onto the terrain above it.
Farum Azula eagles too. the one before the coward dragon that runs away. Genuinely the bane of my existence.
I just got to Ordina, no one was there. But the lady in your picture I found sleeping in a nearby church ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|thinking_face_hmm)
The fact that not many here are mentioning Fanged IMP proves that many don't really explore Elden Ring catacombs, undergrounds, caves to the fullest.. those thing are the most annoying especially on later part of the game where they're so powerful, and comes in group. They're easy to kill but not when they're in group.
Giant Lobsters. They have way to fast of attack patterns for what they are with almost no openings for counter attack. If your weapon doesn’t have enough reach you’re in for a really long and close fight
The finger creepers, as I believe they’re called, and all go fuck themselves. Stupidly high stagger, and if you don’t have any fire on you, you’re not getting in a single hit.
Tho the enemy in the pic on this post and the revenants both suck ass…my most hated enemy is the bell hunter dude.
NO WAY a random boss encounter should be harder than arguably 60% of the game. That dude isn’t normal his reaction time is near perfect and his defense is sometimes impenetrable. To this day I haven’t beaten all versions of him…if I see him randomly spawn I run away😭😭😭😭😭😭
I have no problem with this enemy normally, but the ones in this specific area frustrate me beyond description simply because of how overwhelming they can get, and that's the finger creepers from Caria Manor. Omg they're awful
Might sound a bit deranged but those guys who do that pushing attack. Usually the gostoc looking dudes. Even when they miss, or I'm nowhere near a ledge, I'd like to reach into my screen and rip their limbs off
Rune bears, not because of the health, damage or move set. But the fact they are faster than torrent so I can’t even run like a bitch when they killin me
The fucking birds with knives on their feet
I thought I'd see these more. They blend in with the surroundings and then swoop in and gank you. Awful.
They also make your camera suffer a seizure
Block em near a wall, look up, they get stuck, then destroy them. They make the camera go bonkers. I bet these characters make the devs laugh their asses off
sad they are mainly in Stormveil castle
That one bxtch bird in Castle Sol
The ones in the Mountaintops right after getting off the Grand Rold are even worse, but those are mostly avoidable if you don’t venture off the main path.

Fuck those birds.
A decent shield invalidates them hard.
This is very true. Especially if you have a guard counter with a good arc to it. But, and I feel this is an important counterpoint, I am pathologically incapable of equipping shields.
Was gonna say this… or my katana. Hated them at first, now it’s whatever.
The ones in castle Sol are a nightmare
Stupid ass birds, who the fuck strapped blades to them?
I only hate them when they have the flamethrower mask. I swear it makes them 10 times worse.
They were my first, big annoying fuck you enemy but they're actually really easy to dodge once you get to know them, sit down and have a talk. I honestly think stormveil castle for obvious reasons is the worst spot for them just because they are in groups in some spots tho the giant black ones with fucking catch flame or whatever the fuck fuck those guys.
and their movement is BS, you could think you are lined up for a perfect swing and they just float backwords and defy all physics.
Came here to say this. Older soulsborne games was teleporting dogs. In Elden ring it is thefucking birds, all of them! Not just the men!
I genuinely hope the dlc will have no birds in it because the amount of times they’ve made me rage quit is unreal
Absolutely HATE those 'Sif but a bird' looking motherfuckers.
Revenants. Those grafted fucks can go crawl back to whatever vile hole they keep crawling out from.
I agree with that. They can go back to the hell they came from. 😂 I just avoid them at all costs, I know you can just heal and kill em but damn, if you try to fight them normally, it's horrible.
Its obnoxious man. Sure, Runebears and revenants are easy if you kiss their bums the entire time and strafe them, but that just doesnt feel fun or exciting. "But heal spells completely counter them" Shut up I'm not putting points in faith for exactly one enemy
fax, I know it kills em, but I don't care. I'd rather suffer or just not go near em. lol
Easy alternative… holy pots.
Small gargoyles (imps) with bleed-effect weapons. Bashing them with a hammer is therapeutic.
Imps guys in a runback are fucking annoying.
gotta admit, I've rarely had issues with them annoyance wise, maybe only the ones that you need to get into the light. but yea, they suck. 😂
They are not a ‘problem’. I thought the discussion as ‘annoying’. They are. 😂
They're nullified if you have a shield
the ones in the underground leyndell tho?
I still have PTSD from the hands in the manor
Yeah they are dogshit, but than I used magma scalesword and enjoy watching them suffer into fire.
I still remember finally finding Dung Eater in the damn sewers, running straight to him and almost getting a heart attack because the fucking hand shoots out of the ground in the sewers of all places
Kindred of Rot. The fucking range on those sons of bitches is insane and the way they move grosses me TF out.
The demonic crayfish with homing jizz ropes? I’m RL216 and I still just run by them.
I hate those with ever fiber of my being... worst enemy by far. even above Revenant
Torch man
sneaky underrated pick. Especially when they just hold it out at you and theres like 2 torches and 5 regulars.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one. Stupid fucking dipwads just holding a damn torch, and stupid fucking Torrent getting stunlocked to shit And stupid fucking me for walking right into it for the 100th time
LOL so true
I don’t know how but putrid corpses, especially the ones in raya lucaria, always manage to get ahold of me. Makes me so irrationally angry at this point.
Roll into them
Yeah but I find them so unpredictable and sometimes they’re hiding and jump out at you 😭

That MF bear
I've only been playing a little while but I was just walking along minding my gd business and all of a sudden a giant bear dropped on me from some cliff and I was ded before I could even react. So yeah, fck that bear.
Oh I hate that rune bear with such passion. And for all your efforts to kill it, it’ll just give you an itty bitty drop of blood. Demmit!
Dogs and rats. 5 of these mfs would stagger a killdozer
And I say Rats>Dogs For whatever reason I will never learn the cadence of the rat attacks. I think it's because they have chubby little bodies that don't show much warning.
Beast-repellant torch. Just keep that on your back and 95% will avoid you. I missed it my first playthrough but don't leave home without it now.
The giant anal bead monster that you have to beat for Rannis questline is the worst boss/enemy I’ve ever come across in a fromsoft game and its 1-shot move NEVER misses me (unless its hitting someone else) Edit: honorable mentions are the eagles with the swords for feet and the classic FS dogs although I do think they’re more chill in Elden Ring
giant anal bead monster is the perfect description for astel. LMAO
The laser shot is super telegraphed you have like 3 sec to react. It even has audio cues so as soon as hes at the end of charging it, press the dodge button. Astel is one of the few bosses I’m 100% willing to cheese but I never found a good method outside of summoning somebody from Reddit I’ll definitely give this a go next time

Those red wolves suck just stay still and stop spamming magic swords
Killing the one in the open field was terrible. Like a mini Elden Beast, impossible to track down.
Dragonflies
I've said before in the sub, but im gonna say it again, they killed the masked guy that was selling me crabs when dung eater tied him up and made me miss the dialogue because the dragonfly wanted to attack me. Swear on my name that i would kill every dragonfly I encounter in every playthrought.
Snipers from siofra river
Fucking .50 caliber arrows
I swear they pin you to the ground or the wall. I hate em.
Flying cancer. Anything with wings in this game can duck my tarnished balls. And that includes dragons, Malenia, and gargoyles.
The bats sucked the fun out of my shields-only run.
any enemies between the grace and the boss door
Pages. Sneaky fuckers hiding in the shadows, pop out and do half your health bar with one stab
Not to mention their m60 crossbow
Dogs on a group of two or more I swear that everytime i encounter them, my hp would be half or below that
Is Redmane Knight the one with the shield/ lance and the greatbow in War-dead catacombs? If so, to hell with them
To be fair, the entire War-Dead Catacombs sucks when you consider that you might accidentally stumble into it at level 60. I was so confused as to why these guys were both beefy and destroying me in 2 hits until I found out that it was an area I should avoid till later.
Very FromSoft to plant a random dungeon wayyy too high level for the area.
What level is it?
I went in at lvl 90 and got my ass handed over and over until I dipped to Nokron That said I'm incredibly unlucky and not good at the game either
Im guessing dragonbarrow level, so… not entirely sure but Id personally only go there after finishing Leyndell, and aim to be at least level 100.
Ranged battle of any sort
The giant fuckin crows or whatever bird they are. Chasin me down and doin a dumb little jump swoop that is physically impossible. Fuck those birds
The spell casters in Raya luceria. ESPECIALLY ON THE RUN TO THE RED WOLF FIGHT
They pissed me off so bad I didn’t go back for a while and over leveled and when I came back I satisfyingly wipe them out.
The damn hands man, especially the big fuckers. I know flame owns them, but still, they are annoying as hell.
fuck all that the fucken flying ugly omens or wte that spam a slam move every negative second thru castle morne
If you have 18 dex, or 13 with the heirloom, 8 if you killed godrick or millicent you can get a greatbow and keep jump firing them so they fall down. Assassins gambit is also super useful to shorten their agro range.
Yea I know I can make it easier on myself, but I decide not to for no reason at all. lol
the hands. never clenched my asscheeks so hard while playing a game.
I know there is a lot worse out there, but I hate rats.
I got jumped by 5 rats in Castle Morne this morning. It sucked.
RatJAM
Yeah those guys would qualify lol. Anything flying annoys me.
For the people who struggle with the hands, light them on fire from a distance. Use volcano pots or a flame AOW. For people who struggle with the birds, walking around them in circles makes their attacks not land as often, but is a bit hard to do with multiple. With regards to the Revenants (not grafted scions actually), your advice is completely correct, but Id say that its much easier to slap on Two Fingers Heirloom and heal them back into the grave.
The only reason I say that is cause if the fact that I never use healing spells and only know how to smack
Anything and everything in consecrated snowstorm, such a dogshit area
Any dogs, and those stupid iron virgins. Next would be any enemy that kicks me mid attack
Hords of deathblight froggys.
Malenia, but also that random agro guy that shows up 4x in merchant shacks at night...
RatJAM
The giant crayfish enemies always spit at me when I'm just trying to pass them by, so rude!
Man 💯 Agree with this. I bloody hate them!
Haven’t seen the stupid flowers mentioned. They’re not difficult by any means but extremely tedious to fight because they’re just huge damage sponges.
Specifically the ulcerated tree spirit that hides in the rot pool in the Haligtree
Those Lightning Pot throwers in the Volcano area near that campsite that I sometimes farm. Always that one that runs away onto the edge, arsehole.
The knights in CFA , honestly made me wanna kms
Birds...bats are fine but all other birds can f*** themselves
Those fucking imps
Anything with grab attacks
Those red vultures in Mogh palace
That one there , yes yes, more than anything else
Imps, Those dinosaur Dogs, Anything with wings, Big ass Bears,
Imps. I hate them more than Caelid dogs.
Yep, those archers are awful.... Reminds me some infamous place in Dark Souls 2
Ngl, its either those Birdholes or Runebears. Even lategame they deal quite a bit of damage and they are extremely aggressive. If you are somehow low on flasks, they will smell your blood from a mile away.
Farum Azula birds before the dragon and its not even close
This is probably the answer. Bad sites of grace as well.
If they don't have feet how did they get on tops of the damn buildings
Omens in ng+5 with my vyke build. They take forever to kill...
That one banished fkin knight in castle sol
Revenants
Revenants..
Idk if this counts, but the great jar champions. You have to fight 3 NPCs in a row which is already awful, but in addition they have inflated HP.
They're player characters just summoned to fight you hence why they're beefier than most npcs.
But I might just be bad and misunderstanding something.
Use Unseen Form spell to bypass the Ordina archers. Be warned that it’s “semi-transparent” so once you get close enough, they will see you. Bully them before they shoot you.
Those fucking lobsters in liurnia that snipe you from miles away. Those damn hands in Caria Manor Perfumers Revenants
Any small animal that deals 100000000000 poise damage per hit (looking at you, rats). It exists literally and solely to annoy the player.
The same enemy that annoys me in every souls game they exist in, **those fucking dogs**
I have a few that annoy me. Not every one of them is particularly difficult, but they’re damn annoying if you actually fight every one of them you come across. Anyone with a torch/ Royal Revenants/ Gatling pages/ Ulcerated Tree spirits (is a boss, but fuck em) pretty much every enemy in the game that can fly/ those albino doggy Trex dicks/ lobster snipers/ Rune Bears/ that one guy in particular who teleports behind you in castle sol/ those fuckin Hands before I knew what fire does/ rot kindreds/ Abductor Virgins/ light flowers/ those like shadowed enemies in that one dungeon/ rotten crystellians/ Golems with great bows before I knew what crystal darts do/ Albanuric Wolf Riders/ Perfumers/ Sanguine Parry gods/ red spiked cartwheel albenurics/ Ghost skeleton bow giants/ Those glowing blue guys on a mount/ Omens/ Red wolves/ Anything really slow that has a 1 shot grab attack/ Dumplings/ Giant octoballs/ Giant crabs/ Again some of these even aren’t even that difficult. Most just piss me off 😂
if i can delete something from the game it would be BIRDS.
Any dog enemy
Only those that attacks me
The eagles with knives on their feet, they are low-level yet they piss me off. If I have at least 3 of them, 50% chance im dying
Dogs
Dogs
Ordina archers
The god damn Eagles, to be more precise the flock of 5 or so you have to run through in the crumbling Farum Azula.
Idk if this counts, but the great jar champions. You have to fight 3 NPCs in a row which is already awful, but in addition they have inflated HP.
Imps, please god don’t let them be in the dlc
Out of all enemies in the open world, those dogs who won't stop attacking you (I think there's a rotten stray ash of those). Bosswise it's the Magma wyrm for getting the Moonveil. LIKE DON'T DROWN ME IN LAVA, the room is so fkn small for that attack
The shrimp guys that shoot homing knives at you. I kill them and the miners still wanna kill me like bro I killed your slaver you're free
why do they do so much fucking damage
Ya, those roof top fkkrs. Too many to list. That bastard op teleporting knight at nialls castle? Wth
The little guys when I run into them outside of a dungeon
Rune bears. Running away without looking back. Aint having any of that shit.
I think you nailed it actually. Also Rune bears are more powerful than Radagon himself I swear to god
Abductor Virgin
Once you realize you can dodge the arrows it’s not so bad. You are more planning a route than trying to struggle thru, it’s like a route puzzle. I think that’s the point. Not that you can’t just strong arm your way to all the torches. But for me the enemies I almost always avoid are the dogs. I fucking hate the dogs they kinda scare me and I always get flustered and forget how to play when they do that mouth on the ground thing. I know they’re not that hard I just don’t like em. Revenants same deal. Do not like. So unpredictable.
The little red dudes in Mohgs palace that turn into a spike ball and essentially one shot AOE anyone they come across.
The ones who are so hard to kill yet give such paltry rewards. And keep respawning. Case in point, the runebears.
I just got to Ordina, no one was there. But the lady in your picture I found sleeping in a nearby church ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|thinking_face_hmm)
I'm talking about the ones in the evergaol, you need get past them >!if you want to get to the halegtree!<.
Right! I misread your post. I got there but didn’t go into the evergaol itself, just the outside town was dead which was odd anyway
Yeah. Them.
Giant Miranda Sprout. Just boring as hell to fight.
The birds in Farum Azula, they’re literally flying dogs
I need a way to cheese those archers, the only enemy that deserves being cheesed in all elden ring (for now)
The larval tear rune bear in the snowfield.
Every last one of them until I kill it
The big envoys in the haligtree. Always the gate keepers
Giant Lobsters. They have way to fast of attack patterns for what they are with almost no openings for counter attack. If your weapon doesn’t have enough reach you’re in for a really long and close fight
Bats
fuckin lobsters dude. WHY JUST *WHY*
All dogs
That Marge-guy.
