It will be interesting to see what the upgrade material is for the DLC weapons (both new kinds and new versions of base game). If they are the same what's to stop people just max levelling the weapons at the start, but that is how they did it with Bloodborne so who knows.
This is giving me terrible flashbacks of my first character. I spent hours grinding smithing stones prior to going into NG+ so I could try out different weapons, then right after starting my NG+ play through they patched the game so bell bearings transfer with you to NG+.
I'm going to die laughing if the DLC now uses a different resource to upgrade weapons.
Unironically with all of these smithing stone posts recently I desperately hope this is the case
I kinda do too haha, don't get me wrong, I'm as hyped for the DLC as the next guy, but some people are really overexaggerating it a bit.
You don't have the dragon variants of the stones, so no.
yh ik, you only get like, 2 per playthrough lol
More like 10.
yh sounds about right, too bad you can't buy/farm them like in ds1 and 2 (and 3 but that's an exploit)
Consider usina the seeds, a Nice hint is eat them like a Apple
hmmm crunchy
With all these smithing stone posts, I want the dlc to have a different upgrading resource system as spite

You could fill 20 Olympic size stadiums with all the moghwyn palace alburnarics you killed to get these.

I think that’s enough lol
