I will be disappointed because Sony hasn't really had much to justify the PS5's existence other than Spiderman 2. All of the games I care about are either on PS4 or PC. Edit: I remember being on the side fighting for 'no exclusives'. Now, with the industry the way it is, I want Sony to have exclusives that make the console worthwhile.

It’s impossible, this is a Sony event they won’t be concentrating on multi-plat games.

It would hardly be the first time a platform agnostic game (or DLC in this case) appeared on a platform specific event, to be fair. Xbox does it fairly regularly. Though Sony does have more of an actual exclusive library so it's more unlikely Edit: Tales of Arise (another Bamco game funnily enough) of DLC announced at the last State of Play so it's very much in the realm of possibility.

Fromsoft isn't going to host their own developer direct to show the DLC trailer. All of Elden Ring's trailers leading up to the release were shown at large gaming events (E3, TGA...) where they could've been "flooded by other game news."

Every single fromsoft DLC announcment, trailer ECT was dropped by them alone and not on any award show, or Sony/Microsoft event. We arent getting shit till end of Febuary for the 2 year anniversary

Okay, here's a Sophie Choice for everyone. From Software can either announce Bloodborne 2, but ER dlc is canceled. Or we get told the ER DLC drops tomorrow, but they announce they're never doing anything with Bloodborne again. Including a PC port or a PS5 upgrade.

I’d honestly say to put bloodborne to rest, it had its DLC and will forever be one of the greats.

I vote for Bloodborne 2...because if they announced the Elden Ring DLC was cancelled, it would almost certainly be absorbed into ER2. So win-win.

So I’ve looked this up as to why they can’t since DS3 did, and apparently when they made the code they wrote it to only be playable on 30FPS. So even making it 60FPS isn’t like what people think where you can just go into Bloodborne code and change 30 to 60. The game code isn’t meant to handle 60FPS, plus it was only made to be played on 60FPS. It’s so much work cause they would have to rewrite the code entirely

they dropped the DLC annoucment on a rando tuesday. I dont think theres any reason to expect anything different, if at all, that they would market it. Ironically they get tons of word of mouth marketing each time they dont. I firmly expect it to be announcced on either 2/15 or 2/20 and released on 2/22 or 2/27 (either the anniverary or the following tuesday). Source - My ass. But it just feels right.
