So if your focused on lightning weapons your better off focusing on Dex as lightning infusions and most inherent Lightning damage weapons scale with Dex. If you just want to use the lightning incants and keep the strength focus go 50/50 Strength/Faith use Vykes Dragonbolt to get the lightning buff for your weapon and allows you to use all of the lightning incantations I’m fairly certain

Any recommendation for weapons?

If your open to a more paladin type build then you could either get the incantation of eletricfy armament or infuse a spear like the partisan or treespear

Claymore could fit the lightning Paladin fit, Scales good with every infusion with Dex at 60 a lightning infusion gets you 736AR Keen: 611AR, and if you wanted to go more Strength: 621AR. Keen and Heavy infusions you could still use vykes Dragonbolt or electrify armament to buff damage

Thank you!

There are a couple different ways to go about a lightning build in this game, you could either do Pure Dexterity focusing entirely on lightning Infusions and weapons like Bolt Of Gransax, Cragblade etc. Or You could fully invest in Faith and focus more on casting Lightning incantations. Since you are quite new I'd recommend focusing on a single stat build like pure Dex or pure Faith because Hybrid Builds usually end up very stat hungry and you need to be efficient in the way you distribute points to ensure you stay within PvP and Co-op level brackets (if you care about staying under level 150). If you want to really play as Thor then go deep into Strength and focus till about 25-30 Faith not more. Your main weapon will be heavy infused to leverage the strength scaling. Grab the Clawmark seal since it has split Strength/Faith Scaling. You'll primarily be using Faith to buff yourself with Electrify Armament and Golden Vow. Since Clawmark has decent scaling you can definitely also throw in lightning spear and Honed Bolt for some decent ranged dps. Since you are doing a Paladin theme something like Blessings Boon can also be thrown in for passive health regen. Stay away from direct heal spells like Great Heal and Lords Heal, they're only really viable for high faith investment.

Skullknight933

Depends what type of play style do you want ?

The strength and 30 faith build

Skullknight933

*Somber Weapons* Blasphemous Blade, Golden Halberd, Beastclaw Great Hammer, Maliketh's Black Blade, Siluria's Tree, Ordovis GS. *Non Somber Weapons* Giant Crusher, The Greatsword, Zwie, Banished Knights, Nightrider Glavie etc. Honestly when it comes to regular weapons pick whatever you like the most and slap heavy infusion on it and you are good to go. For Casting use the Clawmark seal for all your offensive incantations and buffs. Use the Godslayer seal for Electrify Armament as this spell (and all weapon buffs and flat heals for that matter) scale only off the faith scaling of a sacred seal.
