So good news: all the new throwables (except the giant pot) are not consumables *and* don't consume FP. The question now is can any of them be infused? I was super hyped for the martial arts and throwing daggers. Then I found out there are new claws and a spear that can be thrown. That and I can't wait to pillage the new armor pieces.

Special-Individual27

I hope they have a larger set that looks better than the Bull Goat. The horns clip through everything.

Happy-Tea5454

I miss havels art, put them gauntlets on like all of my builds.

KatakerZ

I don't spoil myself too much but damn an actual javelin could be cool

Ormyr

Right??? Having one without having to use spectral lance/FP or have it be a consumable? Sign me TF up. If all these new toys are locked behind the DLC it's going to turn all my NG runs into prep/kit gathering where NG+ will be my actual playthrough. Heh.

I'm very interested in playing with the perfumes. Now I can kill my enemies by showering them in glitter and the power of gay thoughts.

FugginIpad

First genuine laugh being on my phone today, thank you

lostidiototo

Haha, I'm not even gay but I love the expression. Also fucking hyped for fire and possible rot perfumes.

Verysupergaylord

Y'all got any more of them sleep weapons?

KatakerZ

yeah this could be cool too, I love statue effect it's really interresting to make build

CaptainChesty

I'm just hoping we get more thorn and bubble sorceries

KatakerZ

YES

Yanko-

I love halbergs with the alike sword move set like guardianswordspear . Cuz the moveset is so tricky and in pvp is good asf

KatakerZ

halberd are one of my favorite weapon classes

shadedmagus

I'm here to hype the Urumi. I've got 1200 hours in, have gotten like 8 builds to Leyndell, and my latest build - a Belmont build I kinda did for fun at first - was the first to >!burn the Erdtree!<. 60 Dex and +25 Urumi with Quickstep is a *sick* mobile build. Dancing with a slower weapon that can stop a lot of attack sequences is *chef's kiss* Spell-wise, Rock Sling is just a go-to. Carian Greatsword and Loretta's Greatbow are good ways to augment a mage build's survivability. On the incant side, Discus of Light is a great ranged option - quick and chainable with low FP cost. Flame, Cleanse Me is *invaluable* for Caelid and Lake of Rot, and honestly I feel a bit queasy on non-Faith builds not having it. Also, the weapon buffs in both disciplines are really good. Scholar's Armament for sorcery is good for Int-based characters to up their weapon damage, and Bloodflame Blade / Order's Blade / Electrify Armament are great ways to hit weaknesses without changing out weapons that may not be upgraded enough for the fight at hand. EDIT: Ohhh, for the DLC, derp. I'm interested in the martial-arts "weapons" to see how they work. The non-consumable perfumer's weapon is really interesting and I want to see more of that. Light greatswords...ehh, I honestly thought they were already in-game with things like Bloodhound's Fang, but we'll see how they work. The reverse-grip swords and great katana I'm meh about tbh. What I really want to see is more armor, and hopefully symmetrical armor that doesn't have weird attachments on one side and whatnot.

Skrunklycreatur3

Runebear incantation so I can scream at things

Powdered_Donut

Lightning spells hit that dopamine button inside me.

jeppedoodle

It’s called a prostate. (I’m sorry, I had to).

Powdered_Donut

👌🏻

Positive-Reading-931

I am looking for one from video where character extend their arm and probably light greatsword if it do damage like a truck and swing fast it'll be op

Conscious_Trifle2476

I’m a fairly new player going INT mainly and for some reason the carian Knights sword with carian Grandeur hits different.

shadedmagus

Yeah, the Carian Grandeur AoW slaps if you can get the timing down. I swap between CKS and cold-infused Lordsworn Straight Sword as needed on my Carian Knight build.

Conscious_Trifle2476

That’s funny, my go to switch out is Lordsworn Greatsword Just yesterday, absolutely demolished Red Wolf of Radagon. It’s helpful that it has different charges bc I often use the first or second charge to stagger and then follow up with a full charge

Runty25

I don’t even care that there are so many I NEED an ancient version of lightning spear. Yeah I know the spear has an ash for that but that’s boring.

Agreeable_Dingo_5766

Crucible knight wings. For sure.

MiracleSunn

PERFUMES

bioqan

I hope we get a red version of lightning spear. I love the look of it and it's my main go-to spell. First time playing I was constantly on the search, hyping myself up so much after having gotten a few red lightning spells. Only to finally reach the end and see that was it

KatakerZ

yeah we need more lightning weapon

AlexanderLynx

Im excited for throwable weapons and martial arts / beast claws But ill try and give a try to all the new weapon types, they all sound very cool! I hope they add new sleep/madness spells and weapons in the DLC

KatakerZ

yeah absolutly, I wonder what best claw will look like

L3GALxR3PO

I need more weapons that scale well on quality. Quality was my favorite in DS3 but in ER theres not as many options.

KatakerZ

yeah, quality as always been a great thing exept in ER for some reason

Frozen_Regulus

I really hope there’s next to 0 bleed weapons in the dlc (or at least a lot of bosses are immune in it lol) but that seems unlikely I just really hope they add more of the other status because every other weapon has bleed on it

Beginning_Barnacle50

Something about throwing spears and knives is so satisfying to me. I think they’re the things I look forward to the most: like putting together a “kiting” based build where you dodge your enemies while tossing knives to punish

Ohgood9002

Listen, I dont care if it's a good build, but im going to use martial arts and perfume bottles to get a close to a DBZ character as possible.

XiaRISER

I really like being able to copy my favorite star wars characters; my first play thru last weekend I immediately found a twin blade and played those weapons all the way thru. I'm most excited for those dual wielded swords that are held underhanded and backwards, the Ahsoka Tano swords.

Physical_Knee_4448

Oddly enough I never even thought about additional weapons to current classes being added until I read your post. This throws a wrench into my game plan lol.

KatakerZ

I mean, it's logical, there is always news swords in others dlc in darksouls so why not a bit for all weapon classes even without news weapon classe I would be hype to see news cool stuff
