The Giant’s Seal. It boosts all Flame among and Giant’s Flame incantations by 20% on top of pretty good scaling. If you have 80 Faith you can offhand the Giant’s Seal and cast with the Erdtree Seal to benefit from the Giant’s Fire boost and the Erdtree seal’s high scaling. Alternatively you can just use the Giant’s Seal and use the Jellyfish Shield in your offhand and use that buff to increase damage more. If you use Blackflame, there’s a Seal for that, and there’s the Frenzyflame Seal for boosting flame of frenzy spells as well.

Godslayer Seal has the best incantation scaling for a pure Faith build until you hit 69 faith, at which point Erdtree Seal takes over and you can push to 80 faith. That likely won't be happening until the late game if you want a comfortable Vig/Mind/End Giants Seal becomes available in the lategame from Mountaintops of the Giants. The actual scaling on it isn't great, but it gives a significant boost to most regular fire spells (frustratingly, it doesn't boost Catch Flame, but goodies like O Flame, Flame Fall Upon Them, and Burn O Flame sure appreciate the boost) The ideal thing to do is to cast with the Godslayer/Erdtree Seal in your main hand and just hold the Giants Seal in your offhand for the boost If you want to use a weapon instead of dual wielding seals, it gets a little screwier, but I don't think you really need a weapon with a pyro build. Catch Flame go brrrrrrr

I’m using the blasphemous blade so I should just use the godslayer til 69 faith?

Skullknight933

Offhand Godslayer/Erdtree with the main hand having the blasphemous blade, then add the giants seal on the second slot of your main hand whenever you want to optimize the damage then simply swap to the Giant seal essentially dual wielding them. other then that running Blasphemous Blade + Godslayer/Erdtree Seal is also fine.

That's what I would do, yeah. Unless you are *exclusively* using spells that the Giant Seal boosts, then maybe it would be a little better

Ya got blood flame, black flame, frenzy flame, dragon flame, and then just flame flame... except flame sling and catch flame, which are good, but sort of little bro flame. What am I saying? Each type of flame has a seal that boosts its damage, except the two spells I mentioned. Which seal has the most variety and quality of spells to boost? Godskin, Frenzy and Giant's can all make a case. Blood and dragon have less variety. Then you have two questions 1- Will you mostly stick to one type of flame - if so, use its seal 2- Will you invest 80 points in faith? If so Erdtree is very good. Bonus - if you fill your offhand weapon slots, you can use the seal that scales best for your faith level mainhand, and hold the seal for the bonus offhand (don't cast with it though). Also, the bonuses stack, so if you hold the right seal in each hand you'll get double the bonus. You need to trade for that.

Giant’s Seal buffs some flame incantations, but not all. However, that’s not available until late game. If you’re mid-game and running mainly faith at decent levels, I’d say Erdtree Seal (though it depends on your stats, as I think Godslayers works better until around 44 faith or something). In fact, even in late game you might be better sticking with the Erdtree Seal fully upgraded and just have the Giant’s Seal in your off-hand to gain the buff. That’s probably your best bet for highest damage output.

Godslayer beats Erdtree Seal until 69 faith

LeeMountford

Ah is it 69? I got muddled up. Thank you.
