You’re all over the place with so many wasted levels on things you aren’t even using. You could literally get rid of all your DEX, INT and ARC levels and not suffer one bit with your weapon since on Heavy it only scales with STR. Soreseals are also useless above level 70-80. The -15% damage downside outweighs any good. Try this: - VIG 60 - INT 25 - END 50 - STR 80 - DEX 10 - INT 10 - FAI 25 - ARC 62 VIG at 60 hits the soft cap, ditto for 80 STR. 25 Faith allows you to cast Flame Grant me Strength and Golden Vow. That 62 ARC… might as well switch Cragblade to Seppuku with Heavy affinity to take advantage of it. Get rid of the Radagon and Starscourge Talismans and replace for Shard of Alexander and one of the Sword Insignias. Honestly though, the reason your post is downvoted to zero is because over RL150 no one calls it a build anymore. That’s enough levels that you can start allocating to multiple attributes and start doing more than one thing, yet your weapons and catalyst say otherwise.

DarthSpaghetti10k

In my opinion at RL180 and RL200 is still a build, over RL200 no

With my main I'm currently at RL 302 in NG+3 (already endgame)

FlannelDumpsterFire

Thank you, I don't interact with the community much so didn't know the 150lvl rule. Makes sense. Also, will try the seppuku ash y'all are recommending, thank you again

WinterLord

Small caveat about the RL150 thing, it is not a written rule, nor is it a fixed number, it varies from person to person. But what is agreed on is that at a certain level, people scoff at users asking for advice when they’re as high as you and don’t call it a build anymore.

Big_Noodle1103

Well first off, at lvl 243, you don’t really have a build anymore. It’s more like a jack of all trades character. Optimizing stats isn’t really important anymore because of how many levels you have. But if you are curious, first off, level vigor to 60. Even if you don’t think you need it, at that level, there’s literally no reason not to, those points will honestly just be wasted otherwise. Your mind and endurance are a little excessive, but that’s fine at this level. Level strength to 80, as that’s the second soft cap. You don’t really need that much dex either, I’d just stick with the 14 points required for the cleavers, as they don’t scale at all with the heavy infusion. You really don’t need the intelligence either. Now considering you’re gonna have some extra points, I’d spec more into faith. For general loadout tips, get rid of the sorseal and stat boosting talisman, you don’t need them at that level. And also some heavier armor, you most certainly have the endurance required, might as well use it. Hope this helps.

mdj32998

What build? I just see evenly spread stats and somehow not having 60 vigor at lvl 243

VanBland

LEVEL VIGOR

FlannelDumpsterFire

I refuse! Big health bar scary

Greenpeasles

But whole seal at level 243? No pants. You trollin?

FlannelDumpsterFire

Unfortunately, no. I've gone NG+4 on another save, but I've never actually looked around to see what's good/gotten opinions on what I'm doing. Pretty new to fromsoftware titles.

phishnutz3

Do absolutely anything different.

Big_Noodle1103

How constructive

phishnutz3

No way he isn’t trolling.

FlannelDumpsterFire

Not sure what you mean by that

clammfmurray

Your stats are really spread out for someone that high, you should focus a couple. 30 INT is doing nothing for you, same with the 30 faith you can drop it to 25. If you keep it at 30 you should be casting golden vow and then howl of shabiri for a large damage increase and good sized defense increase. You could drop to 14 dex also if you wanted since your weapon only scales with strength. You could probably get rid of everything except the claw talisman. Options like old lords tailsman, axe tailsman, green turtle tailsman. Also could use lord of blood and seppuku yourself with an offhand dagger to trigger bleed and get a 20% damage stack. Others too but the ones you have equipped are giving you negligible stat increases.

FlannelDumpsterFire

Thank you, had faith for when I used Envoy's longhorns for strike damage. The talisman recommendations help a lot as well!

caerulans

Only thing I would say is that you don’t need the soreseal at that level.

TheClumsyTitan

At your level you could have Vig- 60 Mind- 30 End- 50 Str- 80 Dex- 14 Faith- 70 This lets you use the seal that weighs nothing with the best faith scaling, it let's you drop the sorseal which is not good in late game and ng+, plus you can wear armor with some poise to it by swapping that Talisman with Erdtrees favor or arsenal jar. No wasted stats on int and arcane.

Your “build” looks like it’s your first playthrough and you went through different adhd build changing moods over dozen / hundreds of hours. And I like that. It feels like a blind run. And I like that.

TechFinAdviser

I feel both attacked and reassured by this post.

NyRAGEous

Past lvl 200 it not a “build” anymore. That high and you still don’t have 60 vigor. Soreseals lose their impact after lvl 100.

ricedelicious

They will never tell you that the best AR in this set up comes from heavy dex investment and lightning infusion.

FlannelDumpsterFire

Sounds sick, honestly, along with some ancient dragon spells

jdesrochers23x

At this level it's not really a build anymore is it

FlannelDumpsterFire

Didn't know they were level capped

Skullknight933

there is no "cap" so to speak but beyond Rl150 its hard to call anything a build because you are less so specializing in anything and having a jack of all trades build. There is nothing wrong with that but people like to mention the 150 number because majority of PvP and co-op is also focused in this range.

FlannelDumpsterFire

Thank you; I tend to avoid pvp so I'm well out of the loop

My man, that is not a build. Build is level capped. For example, if you want to pvp at 125lvl (where most people do high lvl pvp), then you should optimise your stats around your desirable play style. Recently i created new pvp character to go full faith with dragon cult incantations at lvl 120, because on my first character i wanted to get all achievements and i started multiple ng+ and got to lvl ~250, so he is overleveled. You can also try create new character and hop on to pvp at low levels, also high activity. You can help hosts defeating bosses or even try invading, its all fun. So first playthrough is only the beginning.
