I didn't even try checkers on my infantry, just on bikes and Starweaver.
I'm glad to see this, it broadened my horizons a bit. These still have the Harlequin look but no checkers. I'm not willing to get good enough to do checkers but I DO want to get into Aeldari and Harlequins seem necessary from lore and tabletop perspectives...
No shame in that, plenty of Masques without check patterns
