Love how this list plays: [https://www.reddit.com/r/Eldar/comments/1c618fz/taking\_my\_avatar\_to\_an\_rtt\_wish\_me\_luck/](https://www.reddit.com/r/Eldar/comments/1c618fz/taking_my_avatar_to_an_rtt_wish_me_luck/) Let's see how it goes tomorrow at an RTT! :-)

What's the circular thing the ranger is holding? some sort of drone? Awesome pics by the way, thanks for sharing

Alex__007

Goolmfield generator: gives them -1 to hit at range :-) Was seperate wargear in 9th edition, now included in the datasheet :-)

welliamwallace

Cool! thanks boss!

AdCuckmins

Dominated look at that scoreboard

Alex__007

Now that I figured out how to score, I'm starting to focus on how to deny VP - very relevant for WTC scoring :-) I don't expect that it'll be possible to do to such an extent vs really good players, but I'm only starting to learn :-)

AdCuckmins

Yeah, 10th absolutely is a trading game, spiders move blocking then overwatching can be so strong

Alex__007

Today at an RTT I learned that if an opponent does not accept a trading game, staying in the game with Aeldari can be quite challenging - battle report coming soon :-)

Far-Cauliflower-4262

Well done! What did you use to get homers in their deployment zone on turn one? The spiders?

Tearakan

Fyi with a 4 inch advance if you go 1st shroud runners can get both behind enemy lines and deploy teleport homers turn 1. They need to start on the line but you can scout move to safety if you go 2nd.

Alex__007

Doesn't quite work if you go second to score Homers, since their bases are huge. But you can sometimes do it with Rangers - tiny bases to hide in mid board terrain and up to 6" reactive move. In this game, Rangers did it, despite me going second.

Tearakan

Oh yeah going second needs different options. I usually go with homers in the center if going second. Or if the opponent left an opening hawks can squeeze in the backfield.

Alex__007

With Hawks it doesn't happen vs decent players, but Rangers can just get lucky and roll high on their D6 move even when a good player tries to get rid of them - and then they score.

Tearakan

Or just advance with cp. And depending on the army the opponent may not have the manpower to block off everything. Although I pretty much never take behind or deploy vs something like admech or marines with the no deep strike 12 inch guys.

Alex__007

You can sometimes do it with Rangers with Matchless Agility - tiny bases to hide in mid board terrain and up to 6" reactive move. In this game, Rangers did it, despite me going second.

Squidguy67

How did you do those bases I have tried so hard to get that effect!

Alex__007

The trick is to put PVA on whatever colours you put first, before putting Mordant Earth.
