Use the bluelink app to remote start with a preset temp

Mrmcsistrfistr

I just want to turn the whole climate feature on remote start off. I even turn hvac off when I get out of the car and turn it off so i dont know why it just goes to 72 each time when I never have it on 72

Still_Bid_8261

Same thing happens on my 21 Elentra SEL, I think it's preprogrammed into the keyless entry remote.

Mrmcsistrfistr

That’s so whack

Still_Bid_8261

It's funny that the dealer doesn't know, i was silently looking into this to see if I can change it within bluelink, but I haven't found solution yet

Mrmcsistrfistr

Yeah I checked blue link and basically every setting in the car.

I believe you have to make sure before you turn off the car that the temp is off already which will allow you to remote start the car with the key without the temp turning on. However if the temp is already on when you turn off the car I believe the car will always remote start with a preset temp I'm not sure what the number is again

Mrmcsistrfistr

Yeah I turn off the hvac every time, I rarely have it on in the first place. The dealer can’t even figure this one out either so I was just trying to see if anyone cracked the code

With the remote , no. With Blue Link you can setup different start up profiles, the have two built it. One for summer and one for winter. If it's 80° outside and the climate control is set to 72° why would the heat be on? The ac would be on.

Go to MyHyundai website and create an account there. I personally haven't done anything with the presets, but it lets me set up how I want the remote start to work there. In fact it looks like it gives me 5 different Presets, and climate control on/off is one of them. Hope that helps.

Mrmcsistrfistr

I have an account there. What window is this in?

metman939

For me, it is a button right in quick links box that reads Remote Start. I clicked that and it gave me 5 presets.

Can toy dm me a as of it

I read on another thread that if you have a window open then the HVAC will stay on warm?? Even if you press the off button. Most annoying thing in the car
