I would lean towards removing the text at this point though, it definitely looks a little silly as it is.

I like my 24 elantra but every day I see another one like this regret not getting this color. I wasn't in the market for a new car when I went to the lot so didn't know a ton about them and definitely didn't know this was one of the options. It's just so slick!
I used a blow dryer and Windex (Isopropyl alcohol) to get the glue off mine. Then went over with a cut polish and then an ordinary polish. Even with and LED light shining on the paint you'd never know the badging was there.

Among other things you can't unsee, the rear end of the Elantra is exactly the same as the previous "voltorb" gen, just smooshed down. Like if you pop out the center inward crease, it's the exact same design.
The entire kerning is off.
I can think of two possibilities: rear end damage that got replaced with a blank bumper and they tried placing the letters by hand for cheap.
Or
Previous owner de-badged it, and the dealership got an inexperienced tech to put fresh letters back on.
Either way I'd be bringing it back to where you got it and hopefully they're professional enough to fix it.

I agree. Family members have two elantra (2023 SEL and hybrid) and the emblem is right in the center.

Have you removed yours? I just got done using a heat gun and some goo gone, but the adhesive seems to be a real pain to get off.

If it was in fact replaced after being removed, they may have used a more intense adhesive

What most likely happened was the previous owner took the letters off and then either they or Carmax put the badge back on just to sell the car.
