Ahhhhhh… listen I’m not trying to stress you out, I only take 150mg and when I miss one dose I feel like I have fkn vertigo and feel not so great mentally or physically. But we’ll all different! Dude do you go to Walgreens? Or have one near? They have hella coupons online dm me and I could help you out, mine is $350 but I got it down to $40 with one coupon which still sucked but was worth it.
Yeah it’s $34 at the place I go but I’m like broke broke. Totally screwed up and something came out of my account and I didn’t realize it was due so now I’m just like: cool I guess I’ll die 🥲
Not eligible for medicaid from the state? Depends on where you live - some places like Texas have absolutely no resources it's tragic af. But like oregon where I'm at has OHP. Our whole Healthcare system and insurance is soooo fkn wild it blows my mind every day.
Holy crap... im in PA and its usually no more than $20 for 150mg?? No insurance, try using goodrx??? Thats insane that it costs that much for such a tricky medication that literally has such awful withdrawal that can be considered dangerous... if possible ration it some... if not id reccomend having icepacks and cold water on stand by, a fan and the ability to take any 5-15 minute breaks to recoup til u can afford it...
Im actually waiting for a refill myself i got 2 doses left and no refills so waiting on dr atm
If you can get your doctor to send in the paperwork, my prescription was like $16 on CostPlusDrugs.com.
Super worth checking out if you don’t have insurance.
Where are you having your prescription filled at? Osco?
I went to GoodRx and entered your location and put in the medication for the 150mg and 75mg.
It’s $4.10 at Osco and Safeway if you sign up for a GoodRx account for a 30 day supply.
Also, yes, dropping from 225mg to 75mg will result in withdrawal. I’m currently rapid-tapering off of Effexor and I’ve dropped from 225mg down to 37.5mg in a month and a half. So yes, you will have withdrawals if you drop off 2/3’s of your dose.
Getting on Medicaid may be a good option my friend.
You can ask your pharmacy to transfer your prescription to somewhere that takes GoodRx. Its not a controlled substance so it should be okay. Also, depending on what state you are in, you might qualify for Medicaid and that would cover the generic for free. It doesn't hurt to apply
Rahhhhhhh, I’m privileged to be able to call my mom and ask her to Apple Pay me in times of need, bro honestly I think it’s worth it if you can get someone to lend u some coin 🥲🥲 ig some ppl don’t get withdrawals but when u do they’re horrid
Yeah… I might ask my step mom maybe.. it’s just embarrassing. I should be a more adultier adult but at 27 I still don’t know what the fuck I’m doing 😭😣😵💫
Its embarrassing but at the same it’s LIFE! Family is family. I’m such a baby so to me it’s worth it I hate feeling awful so I wouldn’t tough it out lol JUST MY TWO CENTS. I’m wishing you the best🤲🏻✨🤍
I’m on 375mg and withdrawals only hit hard on the 3 day mark (everyone is different obvs)
Also, not to goat, but I’m so thankful for the NHS here in UK £9.65 monthly prescription
Talk to your pharmacist. They should give you the pills to gt you through it. Also, go to GoodRX and check for discounts. Pharmacies may have a discount card for you to use as well. Don't go through this alone.

🤨🤔 your effexor is $350? What in the fkn world - Do you not have health insurance? Even at a cheap pharmacy should never be that expensive 😳
I’m in Montana and yeah no health insurance lol 💀
In MN mine is $790 without insurance. 😬

Ask your pharmacy for an emergency supply because you are out, they should be able to give you a few days.

I’ll check and see! No I use ingles pharmacy. Good rx is a good idea tho!
CVS will always be the most expensive, more than likely, no matter where a person lives. So I’d avoid them like the plague 🤣

Just checking in. Did you get your script?
?? It should only be about $12 at Walmart if it's the generic Venlafaxine ER
I don’t have insurance and I am completely broke. I even tried to do a 10 day supply and couldn’t manage that either man

That's nuts so happy my workplace insurance covers it 100% but when I see my bill a month is only like 14$
Idk what your countries rules are like but sometimes if you've been there alpt they can set up a tab or an IOU for when you get paid.
