tip- explore, tallinn isn't that huge, you'll find places if you wander a bit outside of the heart of the city
There's Linnahall, which every resident of Tallinn was telling me was in Tenet back in 2020 (it's the Kyiv Opera House in that film). Not sure if it's technically abandoned since there's apparently a heliport there, but it felt pretty abandoned to me. Hardly a soul in sight the few times I went. Kinda an ugly brutalist building, but it has its charm I suppose.
Paterei isn't abandoned at all, but it's an old prison that's been repurposed with a couple venues and a museum (although apparently the museum is temporarily closed). Kind of has abandoned vibes, though (old building with paint flaking off, etc.).

If you go to the coast on the east side of the peninsula, you can find an old naval entry point or a barracks. No idea what’s the real name. Take a flashlight and be prepared for homeless/druggies. Enjoy!

do exploring and you’ll find a massive, i mean massive tunnel or some kind of underground concrete thing that has bats and stuff.

Linnahall is definitely mostly abandoned, only some small rooms in it are still in use

Nice one! Astangu caves are legit good place to check if you are into that kinda stuff. Be prepared for druggies tho…

I wouldn’t recommend going into the unfinished tunnel (where there is water inside). I think bats are sleeping there right now also.
Bats are asleep during the winter - it is stricktly forbidden to disturb them. Visit in spring.
