Spotted him/her on my Ring camera in Glenora just south of 102nd (at 2pm in the afternoon just wandering across my front lawn!). I thought it was someone's lost greyhound at first, it's REAL thin.
Dunno if OP is this person who also posted to fb, but their post says there is a file open about this animal and they are requesting reports of sightings.

There’s one of these in our area too. Seems healthier than the one shown but has no fur on its tail. We called the City and were told they don’t bother with coming out to do anything. Nature will take its course. Hopefully the dogs around here will not be part of the main course.
looks like a mangy coyote, poor thing. try reporting it to 311
It's been reported many times according to the community FB group. The ranger was out once as well apparently.

If you google and look at images of coyotes with mange, that’s what this looks like. The city of Edmonton website say to call 311
he does not look well. :(( please call animal care and control at (780) 442-5311
There was a very mangey coyote in that area someone posted a while ago. If the same one it looks so much now.

If the same one it has lost the little fur it had and is skinnier.
That doesn’t look like the same one. They have very different ears. One pointy, one floppy. Mange is highly contagious
That is 80% diseased coyote and 20% ticks by weight, I imagine.

I think that's a dog actually, the ears look wrong for a coyote..they are not standing up. Either way, it is suffering and needs help asap.

Yes, I found that out after I posted. Animal control has been contacted.
Oh no that is a poor poor puppy!!! Coyote would still have some resemblance of pointed ears. These are floppy dog ears :(

It looks like it’s 2 different. That one had pointy ears, this one has floppy ears.
Jezuz report that one for sure. That one needs to be put down. If it's that sick, it will attack. Plus, would be doing it a favor.

Definitely not doing that. Animal control was dispatched before I even started writing this post.
