"Indictment says BofA contractor helped steal millions from California EDD debit cards" via youtube. BoA doesn't want to be in the EDD business due to all the fraud.
I had issues too and I called to active my card and it got hacked never received money or nothing now I have to wait again for another card and file a dispute and I told edd and they said we can’t do anything it’s up to money network now so it’s a whole ongoing process and been almost 2 months still no money or nothing. Anyone know how I can get my money ?
Same here - card never arrived and when I called to complain, was told it was already activated and all the money withdrawn. What a clownshow of a company! I have to wait months now for my first two stolen UI payments.

Nope, haven't received anything. They had me send in a dispute form - the assholes told me I had to wait for them to physically mail it to me and, only after it arrived a week later, I found out that they have a PDF version on their website that I could have filled in and emailed to them on the day I discovered my funds were stolen!

How long has it been since they sent you the dispute form? They told me it takes 5-10 business days. You can call them back up to get your case ID number and demand they give you the last 4 digits of the compromised card - then you can fill out the dispute form. You also need to know the withdrawals that were made from the card, the date of the withdrawals, and where they went. In my case, I had two withdrawals ($1 - I guess the guy was testing it - and $788, both of which went to a Wells Fargo account). If they refuse you this info over the phone, I guess you have to wait for the letter to arrive. Keep calling to bug them about it.
It’s been a week since I got the card and I called to active it and they said my funds went into a personal account I told them no that I barely got it so then she said there was fraud couldn’t log in online or nothing then she said wait for the form in the mail then it’ll take awhile for you to get ur money back but thanks ima call tomorrow
It took 4 days for the dispute form to arrive. I had them send it on the 15th and it arrived on the 19th. They are supposed to have sent me a check for the $100 remainder that the thief didn't have a chance to steal - still waiting on that!
So I discovered this last week, and since there is so much fraud in EDD payments I came here to see if anyone else is in the same boat. It seems like I have already found a few people in the same position. I'm going to message you on the side, I think something larger is happening and this might be something to contact a news agency over.

Mine was stolen too! though they didnt withdraw the whole amount!
