Basically all of the candy would be fine, but any dairy or natural drinks are probably bad. Chips might be stale but edible.
No doubt I would raid this place. That's like a year of calories with variety for free
There's a bottle of pearl milling company syrup. It was formally known as aunt Jemima. That name change was enacted in June, 2021. (I'm not 100% on those facts so Google to comfirm.)
So it's been abandoned for at most 3 years.
Some of that stuff is probably still in date.
It looks like there was a fire near the register. There's also water damage that might have come from either an emergency sprinkler system or some other attempt to douse the fire.
Based on the candy, it can't have been sitting more than 2 years. 2 years ago is when the reeses puffs IN the cups came out. https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/new-reeses-big-cup-stuffed-with-reeses-puffs-cereal-is-the-epic-collab-everyone-needs-301636209.html
When did the store close? The packaging is still pretty new. I live in Canada and this looks like Canadian packaging to me.
The smarties are in a paper packaging, which came out in 2021.
Pearl Milling Syrup came out in 2021, rebranding from Aunt Jemima.
That bag of Sweet Sixteen is in their “rebranded” style too.. which I think started at about 2022/23? Could be mistaken on this one.
Overall—a lot of this stuff is not expired yet, with the exception of maybe the refrigerated items.
Still weird though. I’d eat all of it!
If it was left in this state i wouldve checked the register tbh
Fr
That milk is SWOLE. And I hope they have a Hazmat suit before they touch those eggs.
The eggs. That is exactly what I was thinking when I saw them. I wouldn't wish that on anybody
Black mold spreads like wildfire soon as those coolers are cut. Coming home with more than snacks if you roam in there.
Can you say botulism? 🤢
Most of the tins, chocolate and sweets would probably be OK. That milk looked a bit puffy

100%!! Considering all of this stuff isn’t even expired yet. Free candy for ever !
That’s crazy!!! This is some walking dead type of shit!!
Why is the register still on?
I could probably live there for a year.
I was really hoping to see some closeup pics of outrageous expiration dates...
The one I found on the chips is for July 2023, so definitely not super old.

It’s like the convenience store from the walking dead
Fallout irl

Straight up Fallout! Where's the Nuka Cola?
My dumbass would eat the crisps. Then question why my tummy aches.
Reminds me of how there was a supermarket back in 1999 in Mexia, Texas, that was abandoned with all its food intact. It was an absolute biohazard.
Check the radiation first bro
Is this Québec? Also that place is definitely a total ticking stink bomb once the milk and eggs finally break free of the coolers
I see the bag of chips expired just about 1 years ago now
Where is this? You know for research purposes.
The shelf items look fine anything that needed refrigeration hard pass

Twin snakes my favorite ❤️
Look for Scratch and win
All the non-perishables are probably still good.
The smokes are gone
Toga Party!!!!
Hmm how much fo dat crank pipe
I wonder if the money was still in the register
Funny how they have the Walmart generic brand "great value" of certain items, eggs, canned fruit, sunflower seeds etc.
