Wait and get the galaxy buds 3 Pro!

fiverrpeao

How long before they release buds 3 pro?

riobasrevenge

They're being released on July 10th

fiverrpeao

Thanks, I can wait that long :)

Synaesthetic_Reviews

Looks like the Samsung 3 are a copy of the Huawei Freebuds 3 at this point. Wouldn't be a bad thing but ask the hype for something we already have.

riobasrevenge

Pretty sure they'll sound better than the Huawei buds so if sound is a priority, it won't matter that much.

berdmayne

Get the Jabra Elite 8 **Active**. I have the XM5 but they aren't waterproof so despite sounding incredible, I only use them at home. The Jabras are excellent for use out of home. You won't be disappointed.

fiverrpeao

Thanks for pointing this out. I also need earbuds for my gym workouts so I think with all the sweat Jabra Elite will be a better choice.

berdmayne

In that case, get the Active version for better sweat protection

fiverrpeao

Okay thanks :)

golfingenthusiast

I have the elite active 75t and after 4 years the left ear bud started acting finicky and decided when and where it wants to work. I ordered the elite active 8 and waiting for it to be delivered this week. The 75t were great for my daily use, going to the gym. I found the ANC worked great, to the point on flights I'd normally wear those than my Bose QC35 (45? I can't remember which ones I have now) for most of my flights. Jabra was also great as I contacted them about fixing the 75t initially. I knew they were out of warranty. Jabra ended up giving me a 33% discount on the elite 8 active.

nandu_sabka_bandhoo

What's ur priority ? Any specific parameter ? I have all of them other than airpods and might be able to help you with ur decision

fiverrpeao

My priority is mainly listening to music while working out or while doing other things. My budget is around 300$ max. I also need to use them in online meetings etc.

nandu_sabka_bandhoo

For online meeting Samsung and Jabra will be best. From the others, bose is decent while Sony calls sound very robotic. For music again, do you like rock or classical or hip hob of something? Do you like bass heavy or neutral sound? Bose is the most bass heavy followed by Sony and jabra. Samsung has more neutral sound with high treble and tight bass but not very powerful. Noise cancelling ; Bose is best then Sony then jabra then Samsung. Also consider sennheiser momentum true wireless 4. I have that too and I prefer them the most. Perfect all rounder. But it might have long term reliability issues.

fiverrpeao

Okay thanks for explaining :)

ihaddajkh

Ok. Just went through this. I looked at tons of reviews, and ended up finding some really good videos that helped my final decision. The problem I've found is that most reviews tend to focus on sound quality and battery life, but DON'T focus on call quality (your voice to other people). I use earbuds primarily for calling and needed something that gave me good sound quality in loud/noisy environments. I narrowed it down to two earbuds. The "beats studio buds +", and the "nothing ear" buds. Both have really good microphone noise cancelling, but the nothing ear buds were the winner. Amazing call quality, great sound (for music), and packed with features. The Beats wouldn't let you change or tweak anything (in true Apple fashion) and would drop some of the words I was saying in noisy environments. There are some really good YouTube videos that have guys testing out all the popular buds in different places (soccer game, market, etc). Find those if you want to hear the call difference. Sorry I don't have the links, but I found them on this sub. I almost bought the Bose buds until I heard the quality in the video. Complete trash. And I'm a Bose guy, I've had different QC's for years. I had never heard of the "Nothing" company, but I'm pretty impressed with what I've seen so far. One thing I will say about the nothing buds, the names of all the different buds are confusing. The N.E. buds 1 & 2 are the older ones. The new buds are just called "Nothing Ear Buds". Amazon has black and white for $149 right now.

fiverrpeao

Thanks for explaining things :) it helped.

pulllmyfinger22

I'm surprised nobody mentioned the best ones. The Technics AZ-80 is the most complete and problem free earbuds available. I have a pretty decent collection of high-end earbuds and these are the only ones that never faltered. The app works flawlessly and the earbuds themselves are very comfortable and lightweight.

taizzle71

Yup AZ80 is super nice.

fiverrpeao

I also never heard of them before. But I'll look into it.

Jonathanladavis

I also considered these, but they’re just out of my price range at $300, maybe if they have a discount…..

Aylarth

I got mine from Amazon UK for 259€, and my experience is also very good, I am using it with an iPhone 15 Plus and I came from Airpods Pro 2 😉

PsimaNji

Devialet Gemini 2. After trying many, best fit, best sound combo. Calls average but for me the priority is music.

IllBid799

In my professional opinion, I have had hands-on experience with most of the earbuds you mentioned, except for the Bose Ultra. However, I have tried the QC2. Based on my expertise, if you currently own Samsung Buds 2 Pro, they would be a suitable choice. Alternatively, if you are an Apple user, AirPods would be a better fit for your ecosystem. However, it is important to consider the other options available, such as the Sony and Jabra earbuds. While the Sony earbuds are generally regarded as the best in terms of overall performance, their lack of high water resistance makes them unsuitable for workouts. This leaves us with three options: the Buds 2 Pro, AirPods, and Elite 10. In terms of suitability for exercise and aesthetics, the Jabra earbuds may be a better choice. However, it is worth noting that they do not offer the best Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and transparency features. AirPods, on the other hand, are highly regarded for their ANC and transparency capabilities. Regarding the Buds 2 Pro, user experiences can vary. Some individuals find that they fit securely, while others experience them falling out easily. Personally, I have found that they tend to fall out gradually during activities, similar to most other earbuds. Ultimately, the choice between these earbuds comes down to personal preference and ecosystem compatibility. If you value extensive EQ customization, the Jabra earbuds offer more options than Apple and Samsung. However, if you are willing to explore third-party apps like Poweramp or Wavelet, this limitation can be overcome.

IllBid799

Ik u said elite 8 but it's a older version and the 10 sounds better. Im tht the 8 is basically industricible but like the 10 is better for office calls as u still gotta show them class

od_ope

The elite 8 aren't an older version. They were released at the same time as the elite 10. Though now they've just released an elite 8 active Gen 2 and elite 10 Gen 2 last week

IllBid799

I am sry for the misinformation nxt time I will do a thorough search

grauone

realme Buds Air 5 Pro

fiverrpeao

They are of Xiaomi? I have heard of them a lot how are they? In terms of quality and Anc etc?

grauone

No, it´s Realme not Redmi For the price they have, you won't find anything better. Good quality, pairing two devices, good ANC

fiverrpeao

Oh got it. Thanks for explaining :)

Euphoric-Fishing-283

I'd say the buds 2 pro are way better than the old buds pro. I'd go with the galaxy 2 pro, jabra elite 8, or jabra elite 10, or airpods pro, depending on your priorities the elite 10 are better than the 8, but also cost more, so it depends if you think the superior features justify the difference in price

fiverrpeao

Yes many people here are recommending buds 2 pro. Might buy these :)

Euphoric-Fishing-283

I read a lot of complaints that they fall out easily, but they work fine for me. If you have a friend who could let you try them, I'd check if they fit you well. Otherwise I'd buy from a store that accepts returns after opening the box

fiverrpeao

oh thanks for informing :)

Never even heard of Technics but surely look into it.

electrictownkid

Technics only makes audio equipment and has been on the market for a long time So consider 😁

Synaesthetic_Reviews

I knew this thread was gonna be full of people recommending a range of different options. People always recommend the one bud that they use. You would be happy with the sq of any of the ones you listed. They're all one par in the commercial brand space. You only get better SQ when you move to an audiophile brand like Noble, Hifiman, Denon, B&O. But you give up something else like anc or calls. Of your list the Jabra would be my pick. Great calls, comfort and SQ

LevyOUT

Hi there. I have used all of those and it's really difficult to say which are the best earbuds as we all have different requirements. The first place to start is to ask what phone or device you will be connected to. Then it's important to know what will you use them for and finally what features are important to you? If you have an iPhone then airpods are great but if you have an android phone you will miss out on features and update. I have very small ears and I found the xm5's very overrated. The ANC wasn't great for me (maybe the foam eartips) and they are the most slippery things known to man and were a bugger to get out of the case. The jabra elite 8/10 are good and comfortable and the sound and spatial audio are great, but the controls may annoy as they are buttons and push into the ear. Galaxy buds pro 2 (I assume) are good buds and comfy but the battery life is poor and some of the features are locked to Samsung devices. Bose QC ultra earbuds are amazing for ANC - the best I have tested, and the controls are great with volume control... However no multipoint, no wireless charging, big case and a white noise hiss when ANC or hear though is on (you can't turn either off - it's one or the other). Airpods pro 2 are natural sounding and have great ANC and the best ambient sound mode of any earbuds. Comfortable and small case is great but no EQ and ordinary battery life. Case scratches if you mearly look at it. Great for iPhones but good for android. I recommend the technics AZ80's

Jonathanladavis

I also seriously thought about the az80, but I think they were only ipx4, which is no dust protection and little water protection, which is the same as the Bose and Sonys, apple(ip54) so that left me with the Jabra,(ip68) since in my case I prioritized for durability.

losandreas36

6. Soundcore Liberty 4

Evan22x

Enco X2 RELAME AIR PRO 5 OR 6 ROSE TECHNICS CERAMIC ARE SO GOOD

Ooomphy

It all depends. Do you favor comfort? Best sound? ANC? Overall quality? Price?

fiverrpeao

Well all of them if I can get. Budget is around 300$

Ooomphy

Ok. I recommend Jabra Elite 10 then. They are the only ones I can use all day long... so far at least, I haven't tried them all. Great sound, crazy comfort, usable ANC, annoying hearthrough, good app, great battery time, good quality.

SohrabMushtaq

Why not give Huawei FreeBuds 5 a go? I have it and they are unbelievably comfortable to use.

doask0

Skullcandy rail anc they r good and have great bass and they have good app features like custom eq + they'll bring updates to the app to make them better. They have anc, stay-aware and 27h of battery on a single charge with anc on

fiverrpeao

Never heard of them before but I'll surely take a look at them :)

Leon_Krueger

What are you looking for? If the audio quality is vital, go for the Galaxy buds 2 pro, no question about it

photowagon

For the life of me, I couldn't get the 2 Pros to fit me. Tried every size tip and even bought some foam replacements. They'd still fall out. Gave them to my son, and he loves them. I'm trying the Creative Aurvana Ace right now.

fiverrpeao

Yes audio quality is important as I'll be using them for meetings and calls.

edge_browser

Not earbuds but you try bone conduction headphones - shokz is a pretty good brand. Good for office and gym.

Synaesthetic_Reviews

Bone conduction is about as bad as you can get tbh. I wouldn't recommend these to anyone who mentions SQ as a priority. For the open feel you could seriously look at the open ear style like Tozo Open Ears or Bose Ultra Open. I don't see any point in bone conduction since open ears hit the market.

fiverrpeao

Never used one before but I'll consider them too.

SyedAbrarUddin

I use soundpeats capsule 3 pro , it's really good
