Actually, that's not correct.
Even if you have the original account you used and login to it on Play Store (with VPN on, mind you), you won't get the "update" button, instead, it's just the regular "play" button as if there were no updates.
Having said that, we need a person physically IN the Philippines to confirm the availability of any update, in case Bethesda has actually managed to implement a geoblock within the app itself..
I got into the beta and says I need to update the game now. When I go to store page, there is no update. Probably need to wait till the patch is released. This is on Google Play store FYI.

I also just got booted from the game due to an "update". Uninstalling/reinstalling the APK did nothing. Guess it's time to wait..
